Just came from watching Broadway play one late night and the first deli place that we saw that's still open that late when we get off F train. We had their jumbo hotdog sandwich for a solid good price and surprised of their "ketchup, mustard, jalapeños , cheese etc stand" all free for the consumer. It made our hungry tummy happy. It was such a delight . I wonder if this condiments stand is standard now to all their store as the store near our place doesn't have that yet. It will now be a favorite stop / go/ get snack place whenever coming to or from the F train at any circumstance.

There's Walgreens I suppose, but the lines are always long and maybe sometimes you just want to play the lotto. There's also a deli on Horace Harding Expressway by the gas station if you want to walk over there. Anyway, decent spot if you just want to quickly pick things up.

I was looking for one with a USB port (the Withings brand) so I can charge it in the car, and she said that the store does not sell that type of cuff. They only sell Omron, which uses Bluetooth. I bought some daily essentials, and I noted that a lot of them were locked up in glass shelves as they are in virtually all CVS pharmacies that I have patronized. Customers have to ring a bell so a store employee could come and unlock the items --like toothpaste, razors and mouthwash. Cashier Sorna rang up my order, encouraging me to take advantage of a digital coupon that I downloaded from the app. She explained that if I buy $2 more dollars worth of items, I will get $2 off my entire order. What a good salesgirl! Management: if you are reading this, consider promoting Sorna to manager!

I happened to be in the neighborhood trying out the new Chinese take out spot next door and saw that Angie's Convenience Store didn't have any reviews listed on Yelp. So, while I waited for my food, I decided to peruse Angie's. For all the hats that this store wears, it still feels very spacious and has a nice layout. The plants sold here range from $5 and up. It looks like the chocolate and candies are homemade (but I'm not positive) and are sold my weight. They certainly don't look like they are mass produced or came out of a box. The snack and convenience area has the usual chips, gum, candy selection that you would see in any local bodega. I decided to order a Mango Slush Boba drink. This is my go-to order whenever I'm trying out a new spot. I don't think any real fruit was used in the drink, but it still tasted pretty good. Also, I liked the very fine consistency of the slush. If I'm ever in this neighborhood again, I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items in their drink menu. And I'm very curious to try their chocolates.

Even though there is a farely good size parking lot, parking can be hectic, chaotic, and trying. I came by today and as expected, the parking lot was jammed packed but I found a legal spot in front of the bus stop on Francis Lewis. Walking in I felt safe due to the security guard that was on duty. This store gets very crowded at times and you just never know what's going to pop off in there! The store was neat and tidy regardless of the associates displaying due delagence working hard at replenishing stock, merchandising, or just passing you by. I had time to peruse the aisles in search of what I really needed but it would have been nice for an associate to asked if I needed help. It appears that you would need to ask them were a particular item may be located. I gathered t the at information as one guy did request assistance and the associate was in a hurry to get back to what she was doing, but she did stop and help. This is a great competition to CVS, and the only reason I switched is because the don't make me go to a kiosk to do my transactions. Some people prefer the kiosk and that perfectly fine just as I don't prefer the kiosk and that's perfectly fine as well.
