Walgreens on Greenlea needs to seriously work on their people skills. I'm not even talking about customer service. I'm talking about BASIC communication skills. Every time I call I either get extreme apathy, incompetence or just flat out laziness. The last time I called, I got a lady who must've been mumbling in her sleep because she couldn't respond to simple questions and when asked if she could speak up so I could actually hear her, she started whispering. I couldn't tell what happened next because she mumbled something and I asked her to speak up again and she hung up on me. We're talking about people that gatekeep your necessary medicines here not an ice cream shop. Learn how to speak clearly and with a volume above a child's whisper. I called back immediately of course because I still needed my prescription and this time I get a guy that's already pissed off and in a hurry. He answers the phone with a mushmouthed blurt so I confirm I called the right place and I get a sarcastic "yeah" response. I ask if I can get a prescription status and get an irritated "yeah". This is unacceptable and these people know they don't have to offer any type of basic common courtesy because it's the DMV of stores. You don't have a choice. Hopefully someone that can make a difference sees this. I'm not holding my breath. read more

I would give this Walgreens zero stars. The pharmacy employees are rude, disrespectful and obviously inconvenienced at having to do their job! They cut you off and act like you're the idiot when they can't seemingly answer questions! After thanking this guy for help, he just hung up on me! They often cut you off at the drive thru and don't acknowledge you while you're waiting. It's definitely not worth the hassle to go to that location. read more

I came in for a boot scooter, found it with no issue. I didn't have to deal with any staff i can't speak for that.

Avoid at all costs. I don't know if they're trying to set a world record for the slowest service or if they've secretly replaced all the employees with snails, but let me tell you--this Walgreens is wildly excruciating. The line is just insanity too. At one point, I thought I had accidentally wandered into a time warp where hours stretch into days. People were getting their prescriptions like it was a rare artifact being uncovered from an ancient tomb. read more

Sat with the bald black man at the counter for 45 minutes while he called the wrong insurance company and tried to run an expired policy. All while texting on his personal phone out in the open. How am I supposed to know he isn't stealing information and texting it to his buddies? Resulting in my current insurance company denying my medication due to insurance fraud of trying to get my medication from another policy. I have been using the pharmacy at Walgreens almost exclusively since moving here 8 years ago, and the service under the current staff, Renee, Brad, Donna etc has been especially wonderful. I recently received a prescription that, for a variety of reasons, was very difficult to fill (long story), but Mellissa G happened to answer my call and proceeded to make follow up calls for over a week until the issues were resolved. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement, and I am extremely grateful! Thank you Melissa, and ty Walgreens for such excellent service!! read more

Worst Walgreens EVER!!!! I waited in the drive through for 20 mins to be Covid tested only to find out you have be in a certain lane. I explained I waited 20 and she said they had a sign. Which btw is in tiny letters that you don't notice till you get all the way to the window!!!! So stupid. They need a bigger sign and make it more visible. The lady at the window could care less that I had to drive all the way back around and wait another 20 mins. read more

If there was any way to rate negative stars for the Walgreens pharmacy on Greenlea, I would do so. The pharmacy service at this location is beyond subpar. I suspect that their woeful lack of basic competence in performing their jobs is partly a corporate chain mentality and partly inherent in the folks working at this Walgreens. Forget receiving any information or timely communication about prescriptions from these folks. Is not going to happen. Not only that, they frequently flat out lie when saying a prescription is not available or ready for pick up. Also on several occasions this year, this pharmacy has been unable to fill prescriptions for common medications (they will offer a "partial" fill of a few days that then requires sometimes multiple return trips to obtain the remainder days later--that is if they get it at all). I thought Walgreens was an international chain and, based on past TV ads, can fill your prescription anywhere on the planet... I guess, except the Gallatin store on Greenlea Blvd. !!!! For the folks in the pharmacy, if you despise your job so much GET ANOTHER ONE! If you don't like working with the public, GET ANOTHER JOB that doesn't require interaction with people. Sadly, this is yet one more horribly disgusting broken cog in the grossly malfunctioning system that is healthcare in Tennessee. Pitiful! So sad. We (my wife and I) made a FedEx pickup for some coffee. I went to pick the order up and was refused because my wife order it and we had different last names. I had the tracking number and confirmation number but they still wouldn't let me pick it up. So now I refuse to go there and refuse to use FedEx pickup. Lousy service. read more

insulin was desperately needed.....sent in presciption, they said they have it and would be ready in 1 hour. 1 hour passed and they still didn't have it ready. fast forward one day, they still don't have it ready and claim they don't have the quantity in stock. then asked if they had any, just one pen. they put me on hold to check. when the tech returned to the phone she said "oops, we do have it in stock, will ready in 30 minutes. I was in Walgreens on October 6th waiting to get my flu shot and over the intercom there was a message that stated all employees and customers must wear masks at all times while in Walgreens! That's one of the reasons I went there for my flu shot! One of the employees however was wearing her mask under her chin while putting things back out on the shelves the whole time I was there! Selection of over the counter medicine and grocery/sundries seems about average for a Walgreens. My main reason for using this location has been to pick up prescriptions which I've had to do twice over the past year and both times it's been a hassle. My doc phoned it in, told me it'd be ready when I got there and they appeared to wait until I pulled up (having given them 10-15 extra minutes before heading that way) to even look to begin processing my prescription. Both times it was the middle of the day, they appeared fully staffed, and there were few to no other pharmacy customers. Then there's the matter of the permanent sign on the drive-through lane posts that clearly reads "use either lane any time" only when I did so I was told to pull out, circle around and try lane 1 as lane 2 was closed. Service was less than friendly to boot. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Nowhere near to closing time and they have limited staff with a manager nowhere to be found. She had to be called numerous times before she appeared from somewhere. Registers are closed early and only one person seems to be working. The manager on duty was rude. With all of the options for pharmacy services, you shouldn't ever have to experience the poor customer service you will surely receive at the Walgreens Pharmacy at Nashville Pike and Green Lea Blvd. I can say with certainty that every single time I've dropped off or picked up a prescription here, I've been spoken to curtly, rudely, and as if I'm interrupting their day. The pharmacy is very convenient to my home, which is why I kept going back. But no more!!! The pharmacists are rude! The pharmacy tech's are rude! Extreme lack of compassion as well as professionalism. Just moved to Gallatin from out of state and needed a nearby pharmacy to fill my family medications. I was told several times by several pharmacy staff members that I could have our medications filled here without issue (some of our medications needed have been on back order)I called numerous times to check the status of the medications just to be told a different thing every single day. In the end, the "pharmacy operations manager" tells me that she is refusing to fill my medication because we have not purchased it from them in the past and that they have the right to refuse to sell medications. I have now been out of this medication for over a week thanks to the games they like to play here. My doctor even called them and spoke with them directly asking why they are refusing to fill it and they told him they have the right to refuse to fill medications without any real explanation other than that. Do NOT waste your time here if you have to take any time sensitive medications. Zero Stars. read more
