I am so very disappointed with this pharmacy. I have been using this pharmacy since years ago when my original pharmacy, Rite Aid, went out of business in my area. This Walgreens used to provide excellent service; however, over the last 6 - 8 months their service has been absolutely ridiculous! As the primary caregiver for both my parents, I am having to fill prescriptions more frequently. For the last several months, I have had to deal with prescriptions being canceled without notification, critical prescriptions taking 5 - 7 days to be filled, and most recently, very rude and non-empathetic customer service not to mention that they have also hung up on me several times in the midst of discussions regarding issues about the prescriptions. I am very frustrated and will most likely take my business elsewhere. I don't know if they are understaffed in the pharmacy department or what the problem is but they need to DO BETTER! read more

Terribly rude, arrogant and inefficient staff. Im stunned at how blatantly rude they are. They have failed numerous times to refill prescriptions that are on reorder. Today in the drive through they told me they had no time to fill my prescription while I waited as there were people waiting ahead of me. I parked my car and went inside and this is what I found. Not a single person. Another woman from the pharmacy saw me standing at the counter and when I told her I needed to get a prescription, she also told me they didn't have time they are too busy and I have to come back later. Then she said "We aren't a fast food restaurant you know." They deserve a minus 10. read more

Truly the worst pharmacy. Had to come in to pick up medicine and they told me to have a seat while it was filled. I had no issue with that. That said, I am sick with a temperature of 102. While they were filling my medicine a line of people came in and when my name was called they told me to get to the back of the line. All while I am seeing spots and about to pass out. Like I had already came up and told them my prescription so why can't I get my spot back in line instead of going to the back of the line which takes 20 minutes. Go to any other pharmacy. read more

Truly the worst pharmacy I have ever used. And I have moved a lot and dont have a working thyroid so I have been frequenting pharmacies since I was 5. I dont think I have ever called this place and been helped in under 20 minutes. I just spent almost my entire lunch "break" on hold. I have never left a review, I don't think, I'm not that guy that leaves too many reviews, and if I could leave a zero I would. I really don't feel good with leaving a one but I went to this Walgreens to pick up medicine for my daughter and after the third trip, including the last one that the drive-through window person told me the prescription that I was there for was not ready and it would be ready in 30 minutes And I came back an hour and a half later and it was still not ready. But because I know I don't need to write a book I will try to shorten this up. So after standing for a couple of minutes the pharmacist told me I could sit down and I told her I was gonna stand up and that I was here for the third time for this medicine!and before I knew what happened the pharmacist told me that I better watch my tone and after a little back-and-forth, she told me she was gonna call the police on me if I said one more word, and this was her store and I politely told her I that that was her problem !! It should be the customers store and not hers ! I have never had an experience like this with the pharmacist in my life. This lady pharmacist clearly needs a different job than dealing with people, but she lost at least five customers today or that particular Walgreens did and it is directly because of the pharmacist and her attitude, but she clearly needs a different occupation or definitely a vacation !! I wish I could write more, but before I left the store and I guess because I'm a retired Raleigh police officer I found out if there was a camera working, and there was, directly above our head at the register. I reported everything to the manager of the store and I asked the manager to please review that camera footage so they would understand what I just went through and not just hearing it from one side!! I'm usually a fan of Walgreens, just not this location. For one, the pharmacy has shorter hours than nearby locations and it is closed on Sundays. Currently the drive thru is closed. Two, the employees are not as friendly as the ones at the corner of Fayetteville and Ten Ten. Three, the shelves are not as stocked. Four, the pick-up option is not convenient since they do not make substitutions. Even when you allow for substitutions and when the same brand and size is available. When I go in to retrieve a pick-up order, I just grab the items off the shelves that were originally not available and purchase them separately. They do complete the order quickly if that is your preference. Walgreens is still a good option for prescriptions, photos, and affordable health products and snacks. Note that the print photos are best. The canvas photos are cheap but not always the best quality. Overall, I recommend Walgreens, but choose a different location. Only reason I have needed to visit this one is because my prescription was not available at my usual Walgreens. read more

The only drug store near me that I know of besides Target. They are conveniently located on my way to work. I wish they opened before 8:00 am and closed later, but they seem to always have what I need when I go. Very helpful if you have a cold or flu to get meds before work. read more

***UPDATE*** Okay. So I HAD to go back. I mean it's impossible to switch pharmacies. I mean it's like they hold you captive once they have your script, BUT I had such a wonderful experience this evening, I felt compelled to change my original review (below). Walgreen's finally got some help in the pharmacy! They were fast! They were friendly! They were SUPER helpful! It was a really, really great experience! Thank you for pulling it together, Walgreen's!!! This is absolutely the worst Walgreen's pharmacy I have been to in my entire life. I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes without moving. I then went inside and waited for over 10 minutes without seeing or hearing anyone back in the department though a bell was announcing my arrival. I had to go find someone else who works here to see if they could find anyone to please help me. She finally called some backup in. While doing that someone had gotten in line in front of me. He had called in over two hours earlier and his order still had not been processed. Get it together Walgreen's. It's the flu season. It's unacceptable that you don't know how to staff properly. read more

Waited in line for 10 minutes for a flu shot. The pharmacist said they were too busy and they were closing in 20 minutes. Walgreens don't advertise that you can just walk in for a flu shot when you really can't. I would expect this from Rite Aide and CVS. read more
