The bathrooms were extremely clean, which I feel is pretty much the norm for most Sheetz, so it was nice that it rang true at this location. Additionally, they have a very nice seating area inside and outside, if you need to get a quick snack before hitting the road again. Lastly, they do have a good amount of pumps and gas was cheaper in this area then what we saw everywhere else on our road trip. Overall, this is a great gas station and eatery.

I contacted my bank and was told it was actually taken from my account. I called Sheetz corporate office again on 5/14, (after going back to the store and once again being told it was a preauthorization), and I was told that it was an actual purchase on another pump at the same time I was pumping my gas. I was told the 150.00 charge was for diesel fuel. My truck takes flex. I find it convenient that the charge is for exactly 150.00, which is the amount of their preauthorization fee. Sheetz still has not refunded my money. I was told now they will need to review the cameras. Meanwhile, they have had my money for nearly 3 weeks. In a sense, I paid 214.00 for a tank of gas. I know gas is high right now, but this is ridiculous!

But outside of that, it's no different than most gas stations. It does have these Vending machines to go, where you can charge a drink directly at the pump which is neat. Don't even have to go in for the drink itself. When I went the last two weeks (12/17?2010), 20oz mtn dews were buy 2 get 1 free, which came out to about $3.21. That's not a bad deal for those long road trips if you need a caffeine spike.

The store itself is a decent size, not super tiny, but not incredibly expansive. They offer Krispy Kreme donuts, sandwiches and nachos, icees, and really good coffee that has always fresh in my experience. You can add cherry or vanilla syrups to your fountain drinks. Plenty of sodas and beer. Candy is often on special. You'll also find a variety of toiletries for emergency situations. This is more of a pharmacy or convenience store than a "market", and we didn't see many fresh items. We found everything we needed, which was mostly snacks and drinks for a chilly night in. Everything is pricier than a grocery store or chain pharmacy, but you are paying for the convenience and supporting local.
