I've had an extremely frustrating experience with this Walgreens pharmacy. Over the past six…read moremonths, there has been only one time when my prescription was actually in stock when it was supposed to be. Every other month, I've had to constantly call to check on the status, ask where my medication is, and try to get a straight answer on when it will be available. On multiple occasions, I've been told it wasn't ready, only to call again later and suddenly be told that it is ready. I shouldn't have to chase down my prescription or repeatedly call just to get basic information. On top of that, the staff is often rude and dismissive, which makes an already stressful situation even worse. I also find it concerning that when my doctor recently attempted to prescribe multiple months at once, I was told by a Walgreens associate that they "can't do that" due to some kind of agreement with Zepbound and that they can only dispense one month at a time. That was never explained clearly and felt more like an excuse than a legitimate patient-focused policy. Overall, Walgreens does not make it easy to get prescriptions, communicate clearly, or feel supported as a customer. This has been the worst pharmacy experience I've had, and I will be looking elsewhere due to the lack of reliability and customer service.

Upon checkout the coupon was not showing on the register. So the clerk ask for a Mgr to come over. (Iliana - who I later found out was not a manager) Came over and took my phone from my hand and said the coupon wasnt being applied because the coupon was not showing in GREEN??? Because coupons show in green ON HER PHONE?? I told her that I dont know Walgreens color coding policy and does that mean she cant price adjust and not going to honor the coupon even though she sees it is clipped, not expired and not an online only coupon. Iliana then says that my app is the problem and needs to be updated?? Again, I question why do that now instead of the coupon being honored?? One thing to keep in mind-if you have prescription meds to refill or fill - do so the evening before you are going to pick them up so they are ready when you come to the Pharmacy. I love the smiles and happy greeding of: Your meds are free today with your insurance. That is how I was greeted yesterday - 4/22/2021. Then I found my pistachios and checked out at the front register to another smiling cashier. After reading such awful reviews on this Walgreen's I felt I had to come on here to rub out the negativity. The staff here work hard for their paychecks and to keep the customers happy. Just prepare and call your prescriptions in the day before so you do not have to wait to pick up your prescriptions. Or drop off your prescription in the morning and pick it up with the notification on their website in the evening or the next day. No stress needed!
