I had to return to Walgreens to pick up the prescription they forgot to give me with the others earlier in the day. I had to stand in line for 30 MINUTES waiting to be helped due to their mistake. The Higley/Chandler heights location in Gilbert AZ is soooo slow, wait times for pick up are ridiculous. Do not use this location if you have anything planned for the day it will take you all day to get your meds. They have no desire to have a better process. Will not ever use them again. They won't care but just saying. read more

Pharmacy is just a mess. Most of the staff members are kind but there are a few who seem not to know what is going on with zero drive to actually assist the customer. I wish something could be done to improve performance at this local Walgreens. read more

This place will literally try to switch your birth control every single month. I have to argue with them and my insurance Every time I go to fill it because they'll give you a random one, not sure if they understand the side effects of changing your birth control that often, but they should at least be calling to see if you're OK with it. Walgreens for the win! So I went to two Sprouts and couldn't find my favorite protein drink and I am out. Decided to Google then saw that Walgreen had some in stock so I went in and yay::: Purely Inspired Protein available. I am so glad because I normally prefer the taste of this plant based protein, it is pretty clean and only 1 G of sugar, 5 G of fiber, all the good stuff. Their shelf showed a space for the ready to drink version of this but none available :( but I am beyond glad I secured this one! I hope Walgreens keep this in stock! It is getting hard and harder to find this brand. read more

Today this is my rating based on the older very white hair lady at the casher. Didn't catch her name nor could I access the survey on my email receipt, which also didn't include her name. She was very curt, made no acknowledgement or eye contact what so ever, very as a matter of fact. I gave my son his drink, she snapped and said "I need that!" I didn't realize she hadn't scanned it since it was placed on the other side. We could tell she was rude and had NO intention in showing any kind of customer engagement or kindness. After paying I said have a nice day, and to no surprise she continued to ignore us. Very sad for my 10yr old to see how an elder can be so cold when we were all smiles and joking. This store normally has the most up beat employees, from the photo place, to pharmacy and cashier. This lady is new and man she was bitter as hell. Don't take it out on the customer that you have to work beyond retirement age. Make it the best of it, smile, be glad you have a job if that's what you have to do, rise up and embrace it with a better and positive attitude. read more

Looking for a new pharmacy as this one is obnoxiously rude. They just shut the blinds and windows down right in front of you, and refuse to acknowledge that you're even there. Even though they know you are. Maybe they need to figure out how to give breaks and close appropriately without being so rude. read more

I guess I should have looked at this pharmacy reviews. Confirming the ridiculous-ness in other reviews. Trying to get vaccinated with an appointment and they are asking my medical condition in front of other patrons when it is already filled out. Apparently HIPPA doesn't apply to them. And 25 min past appointment and still dont have vaccines. Go elsewhere to get vaccinations--this is retail--not like they are in a hospital filling stat orders for an emergency. read more

sat on the phone for 55 minutes with the same message, someone will be with you shortly they are taking other calls at the moment. Came inside instead of waiting on the phone to see NO ONE on the phone. I am then helped by a kind man that is new, no shame to him i get the first few weeks of a new job are hard ash. Its the fact that an older woman Tammy, is completely disrespectful to him for not having an understanding of what i was needing with my prescription, she then is telling me to do things that i do not need to cause they simply just needed my birthday and to complete there part on my prescription. She has no respect for the newbies and there and it is absolutely heartbreaking. Plus no one in there is checking if people are on the phone waitingggg for someone to pick up. read more

This Wallgreens pharmacy on Chandler Heights and Higley in Gilbert is perhaps the worst I have ever dealt with. Wait times are extremely long to pick up medications. 30 min plus. Pharmacy staff. Routinely have difficulty accessing customer profiles / meds on database. Make sure you check your prescriptions. On two different occasions. I have received the wrong medication. In addition, special order medications / or out of stock back orders are almost impossible to obtain. Sometimes the site is required to shut down for unknown reasons. Although this pharmacy is close to my residence, I'm no longer giving them my business. Site lacks quality customer service. read more

The phones for the pharmacy is absolute garbage. This is the THIRD TIME in a month I've sat on hold for minimum 4-45 minutes where TWICE the phones cut me off at their lunch break and I had to call back after lunch and wait again no less than 20 minutes. That adds up to nearly 3 hours of MY time. This 3rd time this happened, the lady answered After I was on hold 44 minutes but right as lunch was starting to help me with something that could not be handled through the automated system. She was sure to let me know I was cutting into HER lunch time and would work on my script once she was back. Not to mention the initial issue came from not having my meds in Stock the day I was leaving town even though I gave them almost a week notice that I would be out of town and needing my meds NO LATER than said pick up date.. I can't tell you how many times they've been "out of stock".. I waited more than 30 days for them to fill adhd medication as well due to "low stock". I have 5 children, so we have been (won't be any more) consumers of their pharmacy multiple times per month with such a large family. Moral of the story.. use Safeway. They answer their phones promptly, are happy to help their patients, and have never been out of stock or late to fill a script. I've used THIS Walgreens for more than 10 years due to close location. I'm happy to drive the extra time for a place that handles all their patients in a timely manner, with kindness and grace. Well done Walgreens read more

This place is incapable of being efficient. They closed their drive thru and have a line 15 deep. They have three people working but only one manning the register. This doesn't even account for that despite asking them to allow me to pick up all my meds at the same time. They can't make that happen either. Very disappointed with the fact that this store doesn't honor the signs they put on their shelves. Also the cashier was incredibly rude. I understand they don't care about 1 customer because in the grand scheme of things they have thousands of customers spending there but when a sign is in front of an item and has the description on it that should be honored. We went in at just about 9 o'clock at night and spoke to the pharmacist named Chris. He was awesome. My one year-old son had a double ear infection and he went out of his way to come from behind the pharmacy area and recommend medication that would bring my sons fever down. The next day I had a few concerns and since my pediatrician was closed I called Chris and he took five minutes really putting me at ease and explained how I can comfort my son with the medications prescribed. Ask for Chris as he's an all star. read more
