After having breakfast at one of the local spots in the same plaza, we decided to walk over to Air Guitar to check this place out. Wow...can I say Wow! again? This is an amazing little (well not so little little) shop that includes groceries, gifts, an enormous full wall of every kind of drink you can imagine! There is a sushi bar, a poke bar, a coffee shop, a sandwich shop, pizza place and then so much more!!! And they do not sell guitars! The entire shop is clean, extremely well organized, and so packed with goodies that you can spend a few hours just wondering. They do sell groceries, many of the basics you need. I did some checking of prices and truly, you may pay a few more cents then going down to the local grocery store, but overall...it wasn't that out of whack! Everyone working was friendly and pleasant and open to questions, responding with suggestions and ideas as well as information. What a true gem in the middle of a busy mixed-use space including restaurants and apartments and other event venues. They have a huge patio and we were told it was 100% dog friendly and they are even to welcome to come into the store to shop with their owners, as long as they are well-behaved. 06/19/2026 My friend and I were planning to go to Salt & Straw, but we also hadn't have lunch yet. Air Guitar is in the same plaza, and I had been in once before and enjoyed a delicious sandwich. We had also seen on Instagram that Air Guitar sells big chocolate chip cookies from Urban Cookie, which was probably the deciding factor. We both got the breakfast sandwich, mine with the standard croissant waffle, and my friend's with an everything bagel. It was delicious with the egg, bacon, and cheese. The croissant added a sweetness to it, so I think I'll try it with a bagel next time. The cookie was warm and a bit over-baked, so it didn't have a gooey center as expected. Taste was pretty good though. There was a long table inside by the windows, but it was almost full from a large group watching the World Cup match and we didn't want to intrude. We stood off to the side to eat while watching the match too. One of the guys was so nice and offered us a couple of open seats. There were 15 minutes left in the match, so we stayed. It was so fun, especially with everyone dressed in USA gear and cheering. I never would've even thought to watch sports here, and now I might consider it for future games! I stumbled into Air Guitar after hanging out at Epicenter in Gilbert. They are located on the corner of Ray & Higley in front of Epicenter. Air Guitar is a general store that is also a combination of a few things. They sell groceries, local products and gifts. They also have a coffee shop, deli and sell slices of pizza. It is a really nice store and a pretty cool concept. I picked up a few products from the grocery section. Air Guitar sells some grab-in-go food items. They have $6 sushi on Tuesdays, so I grabbed one of those. I also noticed that they have a build-your-own poke bar. Head over to Backstage Kitchen if you want to try one of the deli sandwiches or have some ice cream. If you want to hang out and enjoy your food or drink, Air Guitar has tables set up at the end of the store. What a fun store!! It's an upscale convenience store, high end grocery store and a specialty market focused on local products all rolled into one. There's a nice sitting area inside and a pretty nice big patio outside too. There's so much variety of grab and go food and snacks! You can get pizza by the slice or the whole pie, salad and sandwiches, sushi, smoothies and açaí bowls, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, coffee, soda and even slushies. They even have a poke bar where you can customize your own bowl. I grabbed a slice of the pepperoni and sausage pizza and a chefs special 9 sushi. Pizza was a bit too salty and doughy for me. Sushi was what I expected from a store but was very fresh. They have $6 selected sushi on Tuesdays and BOGO pizza on Wednesdays. There's a ton of fun stuff here and I love their focus on local goods. My husband and I recently moved to the Gilbert area and have been wanting to try Air Guitar. There is a little bit of everything here. Some local items for sale, coffee bar, sandwiches and groceries, amongst other things. I was able to try their classic turkey sandwich and berry hibiscus tea. Seriously, this is a community gem. Walked into Air Guitar today and was just seeing what it was. I saw the sandwich bar and decided to get a Caprese sadnwhcih. It said $12 on the board, but $6 on the checkout screen. The employee let me know Mondays were half off salad and sandwich days. How AMAZING! We got three different sandwich and they were also amazing. Great size and great quality food. We also discovered that they have amazing deals throughout the week. We'll definitely come back to try their pizza and the sushi. We also tried the lavender latte which was amazing and their fresh squeezed mango lemonade was seriously one of the best lemonades I've ever had They're happy hour also looks amazing. This place is so intriguing! It has such a wide variety of things that it's like a farmer's market and a high-end yard sale all in one. You can find everything from puzzles to Jeni's Ice Cream in here. Apritopia could not be a better place to have a store like this - higher prices on hipster things in the name of "convenience." I'm a cheapskate so I didn't buy anything, but I did spend a decent chunk of time browsing around. There's a coffee shop, pizza, and sushi too! Definitely a lot to choose from, but the prices are out of my range to justify buying from a "convenience store." I appreciated the overall vibe in the place though. I had heard great things about Air Guitar, and was also very curious about it as I looked it up online and it markets itself as a specialty grocery store as well as offering a very diverse food menu in the Agritopia area in Gilbert. It's such a cool place. My favorite item I purchased there were called nut BiteZ. They are protein balls dipped in chocolate and they're absolutely delicious. I got the peanut butter and chocolate ones and I feel like I need to go back there because it was so good. Unfortunately, on the day we were there. It was a Saturday morning, and they were very busy. It looked like they may have been slightly understaffed because the girl said that all of the food offerings were going to take over 25 minutes and we just didn't have that time. Otherwise we would've stayed and eaten there. It's kind of like a grab and go style, but it takes much longer than that. I thought it was very unique. All the things that they offered. They have a toy section which my son loved, the kids got a juice, a milk, and some yogurt. We just kind of walked around and grabbed interesting looking things. My husband was interested in the craft beer selection they had. Air Guitar is a cool addition to the Gilbert area, think luxury convenience store meets farmers market. The space is bright and modern. They have a great selection of wine, beer, sauces, snacks, candies, not to mention an expansive line up of food including a poke bar, sandwich/deli counter, pizza. That's not even scratching the surface and you can find lots of non perishables, flowers, t-shirts, trinkets and lots of other local goodies. The lineup of offerings is great, making it a wonderful one-stop shop - perfect when you're not quite sure what you want to bring to a party, are looking for something local, or need to satisfy a group craving different things, but want to keep things quick. However, prices are quite a bit higher than normal, so though it's has the convenience store vibe, the prices definitely don't match. I don't mind paying a premium for local, but it did seem the prices were higher than what I have seen for the same or similar products elsewhere. The sandwiches were reasonable at around $13, made to order, fresh, flavorful and great for a summer day, picnic, pool snack or lunch. I wouldn't go out of my way for them, but I would absolutely get one again! They have an area of tables in the back, so you can definitely enjoy your snacks or hang out on-site. Overall a fun shop! I've had Air Guitar on my list of musts for a while now and when I found myself in Chandler this week I made it a point to stop. I've heard some great things, but I just wasn't wowed. I will say it was 4th of July so maybe that's why it seemed more dead. It was later in the day so o also couldn't try Steadfast Coffee as it looked like they were closed when I arrived. Service T entry was great and she greeted me right away. They did have a good selection of drinks and store was clean. The snacks I found were a bit pricy, but not insane. My boyfriend and I have gone in several times for coffee at Steadfast Coffee and have liked walking around the aisles for a snack or sides for our dinner. Each time we've gone in, there are fun speciality items that I couldn't get at our local Fry's or Target like some of the Alexia Brand side dishes like Yukon Gold potato puffs, rosemary French fries, or brown butter green beans - and both were delicious! I will say items are a bit on the pricer side - those bags of fries/tots/green beans totaled over $40 so I wouldn't come here for a normal list of things. But if you're in a pinch or looking for something different Air Guitar is bound to have something. I feel like their items would make great gifts, there are lots of different beer and wine to select from, and if you're looking to stop by for breakfast/lunch/dinner/coffee they have all places you could dream of. So many food options from the sandwich bar to a pizza bar and in store food in the shelves. We tried the Gilbert Grinder sub and OMG IT WAS DELICIOUS!! The bread was warm and soft with assorted deli meats that just melted in your mouth. One bite and you can't get enough. The lemonade was very refreshing and you had a choice of regular, strawberry or mango. It definitely screams AZ summer drink. I also had a nice Rose glass of wine and there are a few draft beer selections. I love how you can eat there inside or in either of the patios. It's definitely a one stop shop . My friend gets their caramel macchiato which is her favorite and she gets it everyday! Other than that the only reason it's a 4 star not 5 is because the grocery part of the store is a little spendy. Had always wanted to check this place out because the IG page looks pretty cool. Stopped by on Sunday night around 7:30pm and was disappointed. We grabbed a cart, walked in, and decided to go down each aisle to see what they had to offer. Unfortunately, nothing caught our eye and the shelves were mostly empty with low quantities of stuff. We walked by a few employees and not one of them said hello. We walked towards the register and the workers who were standing there just looked at us and kept their conversation going. Mind you the store was fairly empty with maybe a few customers..... The drink section was pretty good as they had a variety of drinks and it was well organized. This section made me happy. My sister ended up buying two alcoholic drinks and she said that she wasn't even offered a bag to put them in and the interaction was awkward. She ended up having to shove the cans in her purse... The employee was not at all friendly. We ended up buying some ice cream from Scoopwells and at least the employee there was friendly and seemed happy to be there. Great 5 star interaction from her! We used to love coming to Air Guitar for Ice Cream. They served Hiland Ice Cream - Great quality Ice Cream. Air Guitar served Sea Salt Caramel Espresso (the best), Camille, chocolate, and butter pecan. The used to serve big scoops, then that changed to small scoops. Which, I could understand - rising costs and all that. Then they added Scoopwells dough, which was a great addition! Well, they no longer carry Hiland Ice Cream and now have Thrifty Ice Cream, but no change to pricing. Thrifty. Ice Cream for $5 a scoop??? Air Guitar has a coffee/tea bar, pizza bar, and sushi bar. The coffee/tea is great and offers pastries, cookies krispy treats. Pizza and Sushi is pretty convenience store quality. The freezer, refrigerated and shelves carry lots of higher end brands - frozen meals, keto, paleo, gluten free. It's definitely a great convenience, especially for those who live nearby in the Tyler luxury apartments walking distance, for Williams Field High School students, etc - albeit at a high markup. They sell souvenir cups, hats and shirts. A hat or shirt runs about $30. It's super cute, but after trying the pizza and sushi, which was mediocre, we only came here for ice cream. But since that has gone down hill, don't really see myself going to Air Guitar anymore. read more
