I said I was coming to get my gift and she told me that I could only pick it up during the month of my birthday and that the day after it just "goes away". I wasn't asked to put my phone number in or anything. I know for a fact that it doesn't just disappear and I've picked up my birthday gift a few days late multiple times. I was looking for a particular makeup item and had specific characteristics I was looking for in it. She walked me over to a couple different brands, explaining how them to me and how they fit with what I was looking for. She also said I was welcome to try the products on. Often, if the product can be dispensed into a container, they'll give you a sample to take with you, which is REALLY helpful! This employee, like all others I've been helped by in this store, was very knowledgeable about the brands and which ones would satisfy my needs. I'll be coming back to make my purchase!

Eventually i asked for help by saying "can i ask you a few questions?" The girl stopped and looked stunned like i was speaking another language. She begrudgingly said yes after about 10 seconds of a blank stare, then proceeded to not help even in the slightest. I asked if they possibly had something in stock, she said no without checking anything but her "no" seemed super uncertain and lazy. Then, i asked where a certain brand was and she didn't say anything, started walking a bit, and pointed. Weird ASF. I am a super nice and approachable person I've NEVER had an employee act this way towards me. She wasn't wearing a name tag so can't name her, or else i definitely would. She happened to be the one checking me out and the attitude was INSANEEE. Never once said thank you or made eye contact with me while talking to me. Truly the strangest and worst experience I've had in not just an Ulta, but any store period. Not to mention her lashes were popping off at the inner and outer corners.... You work at a beauty store. However, it has now been over a month and a half, and the package has neither been picked up nor located by staff. This was not a small item--it was a large package valued at over $400--making its disappearance even more concerning. What is equally disappointing is the level of customer service I encountered. When I called for assistance, the response was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. There appeared to be little to no effort made to locate the package, followed by a quick claim that it was not there. Losing a customer's package is a serious issue, but the lack of accountability and basic courtesy only made the situation worse. This experience reflects extremely poor organization and customer service. I strongly recommend improvements in both package handling procedures and staff professionalism.
