I created a yelp account, just so I could leave this Walgreens location and bad review. I really wish zero stars, or negative stars were an option... THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!! They are SO SLOW, regardless of when you come; show up first thing in the morning, you wait an hour to get your Rx. Show up late, you wait an hour to get your Rx. Show up any time in between, you wait an hour to get your Rx. Seriously, DO NOT send your prescriptions to this Walgreens, unless you want to spend a minimum of 30 minutes in line every time you come in (it's usually an hour or more). read more

This place is just downright pathetic. I don't think I've ever seen humans move so slow. Need to call into the pharmacy? Expect it to take over an hour for them to answer your phone call. Need to come in? Yeah, the line will be minimum 12-15 people deep. They've started closing the pharmacy at 6:00, so they barricade the aisle that leads up to the pharmacy with shopping carts at 5:15. They obviously have no care that people need their medication. They keep blaming the fact they are short staffed. Any time I hear that from a place it tells me that they underpay, overwork, and have no appreciation for their employees in any way shape or form. If it's so hard to run this business then they should consider closing their doors and all getting jobs at a circus since they're just a bunch of clowns. read more

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Customer service is terrible! Cashier was really disrespectful and treated me differently because of my ethnicity, I'm feeling very unwell and walked in to buy medicine. She asked to see my ID which I had no problem showing. I have a Mexican ID, she said "I don't know how Mexicans use this it's probably in Spanish and doesn't have your birthday." That remark was so uncalled for and made me feel as if I can't even buy medicine? Do not recommend. read more

This is one review you won't want to miss. This pharmacy has decided not to fill any of my prescriptions just when I was in the process of going elsewhere anyway. But they deserve a follow up review for being the worst place to take your prescriptions. Not only can they not keep any staff but they close completely when workers walk out. There's no warning, leaving people who need prescriptions immediately, hanging out to dry. People who have stood next to me in line have had to get new scripts from their doctors to take them elsewhere. I can't understand why Walgreens puts up with this kind of store management. It's disgraceful. They don't pay workers a fair wage so they go elsewhere, even the pharmacists. It's a dirty place, junked up with all kinds of signs everywhere and it appears workers get no training on processes or procedures. I'm laughing bc I got out of there just in time. read more

The pharmacy sucks; I've been coming here for years when it was rite aid. Since the change to a Walgreens, they never have my prescriptions ready and then we wait 20 plus minutes when I go in. Worst Walgreens experience I've had in a long time. Pharmacy line was long, everyone was focused on non-job related activity and there were at least four workers (two who appeared to be pharmacists) and they could have easily prioritized to start moving people through quickly (which they did in the end). However, it took the lead pharmacist almost ten minutes to notice this. Ridiculous and not a professional job today. If I were the manager of this store I'd send them all for a day of re-training in customer service, efficiency and prioritization skills.....they need it. read more

This is the worst place to get a prescription filled. My husband's doctor called in a prescription which took them three days to fill. This is a prescription he gets monthly. I went to pick up the prescription and was in line before closing time. The two people ahead of me were picking up and the employee couldn't find the prescriptions. In the meantime it's their closing time and even though I had been waiting they refused to help me. What really set me off was how completely Rude the woman was. She tells me they are closed and I told her I was waiting in line before closing time, to which she told me "we're not a restaurant" and our system shuts down at 5pm. Not only was she rude but she is clearly a liar. If your system shuts down at 5pm how are you going to help the people in front of you? The real issue is that you will not leave until 5:05. I will most definitely be finding somewhere else to fill my family's prescriptions. People need a reliable pharmacy to get their prescriptions and this is definitely the opposite of reliable. read more

It takes weeks to get a simple RX refilled. You have to call to move the order to be processed, but they won't answer their phone so you have to go in and wait in line for over an hour to tell them to refill your RX and then you have to come back another time and again wait over an hour to pick up. The service could not be worse. Take your business somewhere else. read more

One of the worst run pharmacies I've ever dealt with. The left hand has no idea what the right is doing. All kinds of confusion and sometimes just plain lies. Expect a wait and a line AND to most likely have to come back at a later time for your prescription. Enough with the the short staffed excuses. I have patience to a certain extent and this is well beyond that. Do you get an excuse for being inefficient at your job? If so, congrats. Get your pharmacy in order. I went to this Walgreens and tried to buy a real techniques dual ended brush that was on CLEARANCE. When it rang up $5.99 instead of $2.99 like the sticker said I commented and even brought the sticker up to the cashier and she wouldn't even change the price and argued with me about it. This is now why I shop at target instead of Walgreens, they lost a valuable customer over $2. Her name was Elizabeth, she needs to be fired. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only: This pharmacy reminds me of popular amusement parks because every time I go I see long lines in store and in the drive thru. Plus there is always only 1 person working at the counter...I'm not sure if this franchise is all about cutting back on labor to save on overheard or what but they really need to hire more staff. My recommendation is to go super early in the morning or super late at night after you return from the bar or night club...Otherwise get comfortable waiting in a very long line to get your prescription. read more

Wow where do I start with these guys? They have really missed the boat when it comes to the convenience of their drive-through. I dropped off a prescription yesterday around 2 o'clock and the lady suggested I come back at 5:00 to pick them up I said that would be great. I was in a lot of pain after my dental visit but figured I could wait till five. I arrive at 5 o'clock and they are not done with my prescription said it would be another 20 minutes. In the past they had lost record of our coupons attached to our recurring prescriptions. This location just seems to be run by idiots. I really would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone this is not the first time this is happened and they have one guy in there that is just plain prickly if you know what I mean. King supers pharmacy is just a hop skip and a jump away. It's my opinion you will have better luck there. read more

I really don't care to write reviews often unless I have had a WONDERFUL experience or a GENUINELY AWFUL experience, and this is the latter for this Walgreens location. I scheduled an appointment for the pharmacy 6 weeks in advance, and when I arrive at 2:00 PM, there is a line of at least 15 people. I went to the front and let them know that I had arrived for my appointment, and was told that I had to wait in the line, despite my appointment. I work during the day, and took time out of my workday to go to the pharmacy for my selected appointment, and now I'm expected to wait in a line for at least 1 hour, as if I never scheduled anything. I will not be going back, and truly recommend avoiding this specific location. read more

I LOVE this Walgreens. the drive-thru is actually pretty fast compared to others I've had to sit in/was stuck in. The folks in the pharmacy are so caring and don't treat you like a number (or prescription number). They even took the time to help me update our son's express pay (he's 18 in college out of state and always connected to our express pay) with my CC info. I almost always use the drive-thru (gone inside 2x), and use my Walgreens app to refill Rx. Never any problems! I would recommend this pharmacy to everyone:) read more

I have come here for pain meds, anti-biopics, anti-seizure medications. You name they've taken care of me. If choosing to have your customers suffer unnecessarily in pain for hours then this is your go to pharmacy! Dropped off my prescription at 10:45 and then went for a scheduled dental appointment. I returned to pick up my meds at 12:30. The man at the drive through said they needed clarification from the dr for the prescription. He claimed they had a called and left a message and then sent a fax and were still waiting. I then parked my car and called the doctors office. No problem, answered immediately. They asked and the dr did not receive any request via phone message or fax!!! I then got back in line at the drive through and told the new man (idiot) at the window that no fax or phone message was received and to use the number I got directly through to and the dr was waiting for his call. He then went and got another idiot (man) who I got to repeat the whole story to. He said I had to come inside and when the pharmacist had a chance they would call the dr. By now it's nearly 1 pm...2 plus hours since I dropped off script. I asked for my script back and am now at another Walgreens with a friendly helpful customer service oriented tech (woman). With any luck I'll have my meds in hand in 10 more minutes...2 pm! Shame on you Highlands Ranch Walgreens! read more

If I could put zero stars I would. Please note that this review is only for the pharmacy. The employees in the other departments seem competent and are more than willing to help you with what you need. The pharmacy, however, is not. If you need a prescription within a few hours go somewhere else, because they will take 10+ hours to have it ready for you and many times it will miraculously be available just ten minutes before closing (even if it was called in at 9 AM that morning and you have been waiting there for two hours). Have a question you need answered? Don't call the pharmacy! If you do, you will be on hold for 50 minutes and then will hear blatant disregard for your health and well being from the employee who begrudgingly picks up. Think it will be better when you get there face to face? Think again! The techs couldn't be more rude and condescending in their demeanor. They blame turnover for their poor work ethic and incompetence, and claim "backlogs" for why they turn people away if you arrive 45 minutes before closing time. These employees are an absolute embarrassment. I worked as a pharmacy tech as a 16 year old and I did a better job than these people, seriously. Avoid this place at all costs. Especially if you need a script for emergency purposes. read more

I love this Walgreens for quick and easy photo services. The photos aren't suuuuper high quality (if you want that, go to Mike's camera) however for just quick, 1-hour turnaround time prints, they're always done very fast. It's also super easy to order the prints through the app and online. However- the pharmacy is a little rougher. When I switched from King Soopers to Walgreens they changed the brand of my prescription, and now I have been taking it for months and it unfortunately it's having some pretty nasty side effects that the other brand didn't have. I wish the pharmacist would've warned me there may be different side effects so I could've known earlier that this medicine was the cause for my symptoms. The other issue I have with them: the prescriptions don't automatically refill, and when I manually refill them, they only stay refillled for a week. I ordered my prescriptions before I went out of town, came back a week later, and they said I had to wait again another day for them. That's just a frustrating policy because I refilled them at that time for a purpose, and they weren't ready when I needed them. Switched back to King Soopers for said prescription, but I will continue going to Walgreens for the photo and spur of the moment needs because it is 24 hours. read more

This Walgreen's has earned my respect. I came in looking for a certain... ahem... "item" that was exclusive to Walgreens stores after a manager at another location did a WIC# stock check that showed it was available at this store. The lady, Sharon I believe was her name, was extremely nice and helpful and did a search with her handheld inventory scanner only to find that the information I was given was incorrect and they did not have them in stock. She went in the back office and put in an order for more from the distribution center while I was there and took my name and number and said she would hold them and give me a call when they came in. I really wasn't expecting a callback. A week later, she called me personally to say that the "item(s)" came in and would be held for me. THAT is customer service. She made good on her word and followed through and actually CARED. Bravo! read more

Terrible pharmacy customer service. Had to get a script filled out here for poison ivy. I forgot my steroid cream and otc wasn't doing it. I submitted my ins card. I got an email that there was a problem. It was only 11.99 so I was just going to have them cash it out. You can't do that on the app. So I called. I was on hold for NINETY MINUTES. no one ever picked up. I walked into the pharmacy on hold. No one waiting. No one in the drive thru. 4 people working. They had some baskets stacked up but not more than 15-20. They then told me it would be another 45 min. I asked them if that included my 90 minutes on hold where I tried to call to tell them to run it thru without insurance. When I walked off she told the pharmacist "that's the third patient in a row that was upset over a 45 min wait". Maybe that should tell you something. Then we went up front to buy water. The guy kept scanning something that wasn't the barcode so of course it didn't ring up. Finally after the third time I pointed "here" and covered up the other bar code. I felt like we were on a hidden camera. read more

My rating of one star is for the pharmacy and whoever does their scheduling. It is Sunday, 8:00 p.m. with 6 cars in the drive thru and a long line of people waiting in line inside, close to 10 and growing because only one person is helping both the drive thru and inside. He is unable to get ahead because the lines keep growing. The other person working is trying to fill prescriptions as fast as she can. Whoever does the schedule for the pharmacy thought it would be a great idea to only have 2 pharmacists working tonight. Let me repeat myself, 2 PEOPLE WORKING DURING BUSY HOURS. Absolutely ridiculous! It is not okay to make customers wait this long, let alone put that kind of stress of employees. read more

This Walgreens always gives us a hard time about our insurance, which is top notch and fully paid deductible group plan. Always difficult to do business with the pharmacy at this location, really baffles us everytime. Do yourself a favour and go to a King Soopers, CVS or another Walgreens if you want good service. The pharmacy at this location does not care about the clients and will not even call your insurance company, they will also charge you more than other pharmacies. read more

This pharmacy is the busiest in Highlands Ranch, every time I am there the drive thru is packed and the lobby is jammed with customers. The pharmacists and techs are professional and patient trying to work with everyone. I was there today and witnessed a rude customer and was surprised at how polite the staff was trying to explain the situation to them despite the obvious pressure they were under. read more

Gave me the wrong prescription. they did call me to tell me to come back, but had already given the first dose which could have caused major issues. When I talked to the manager on duty, Skylar Martinez, he was rude, unapologetic, refused to take ownership of his staff's mistake and just told me mistakes happen and mumbled under his breath "thought I already told her" when I asked again how this could happen. He needs to be trained in customer service for sure. read more
