No person needs to be checked on 4 times after I said I don't need help finding anything. I promise you I can afford to shop here. I have been coming to this location for YEARS. I have long, very thick hair, and it is exceedingly expensive to get full color. I get the roots touched up professionally every couple of months or so, but when I decide to change the color on my whole head, I almost always do it myself. The consultants at Sally have been amazing. They're really knowledgeable about the products. I usually have to mix two or even three colors to get the shade that I want, and I depend on their advice. They're patient as try to explain exactly what color I want. I also buy my coloring supplies at Sally. Cape, bowl, brush, clips, developer...Sally has it all, plus the anti-red drops that I add to the color in the vain hope of toning down the red undertones. Their cosmetic and hair product selections are pretty good, but not great. I usually buy my shampoo at TJ Maxx because I only use brands such as Joico and Rusk. They have added some fun nail polish and makeup lines since the last time I was there. Prices are reasonable. I wouldn't say cheap. But I don't have a cosmetology license, so I pay full price. I spend about $21 for three tubes of color. That beats the $200 or more it normally costs to have my whole head professionally colored. Of course, it isn't any fun doing it myself, but oh well. read more

Absolutely despicable store. They sold me a defective trimmer for $140 and refuse to give a refund. I bought the trimmers in good faith expecting to get a good product! Why did the clerk not tell me there were no refunds for trimmers. How am I suppose to find out they don't work unless I purchase them and try them????? DONT SHOP HERE! She made me feel like my decisions were stupid, and I ended up spending nearly double what I planned to. I ended up not using the majority of it. I can't believe this location only has 3stars.. every time I've gone in lately I've revived the absolute best costumer service. I started doing my own hair when covid shut down hair salons so I've been in a handful of times and every current employee I've come across is nice, attentive, and so helpful. I was pushed over the top tonight to write this review when I walked in right around 5 (the time they close) on a Sunday. The lights were on and I saw people in there so it didn't even cross my mind they might have been closed. When I walked in someone immediately asked what they could help me with and quickly pulled up my color and told me exactly where it would be. I told them I was going to look around, they said no problem but ever so nicely let me know they do close at 5. I then noticed it was past 5?! So I quickly made my purchase to get of of there. I was shocked I was treated so kindly when I went in right at closing time. That great of customer service is so rare these days but I very much appreciate it. read more

Kay did a great job leading me in the right direction to lighten my hair. She really knows the products and gave me choices that would be less damaging for my fine hair. She told me I could call anytime or stop in for more advice and she even checked in a sample of my hair that I had tried a little bleach on to see if it needed a toner. Today, the incredibly rude woman checking me out refused to take my pro-card and asked me to verify the phone number instead; She was assuming that I had taken the pro-card from someone else. RUDE, LAZY, UN-KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF!! Every time I go into this location the staff is so dumb I almost want to stop going here completely. They are too lazy to look for products in the back when I request that they do so and they don't know the prices on their products. I asked to do a rain check and ANGELA told me to come back the next day because they she didn't know where the rain check papers were located and there was allegedly "No manager on site"; well let me tell you, there was a manager in the back counting the drawer and they were too lazy to come out and talk to me face to face because their shift was almost over. If you ever see a tall big-boned older woman with short curly gray hair and a butt the size of Texas, don't even bother to ask her for help because all she has on her mind is when her next lunch break is going to be. She was extremely rude and told me that she wasn't going to try to help me look for the hair de-tangler that I had requested. POOR POOR SERVICE!! Ever had a door locked in your face 2 minutes before close? Would you like to? Then get on over to this Sallys. Employee inside saw me walking up and quickly scooted around the corner of her counter to lock the door. I hate being that last minute customer, I get it. But I had a last minute errand sent to me by my boss to pick up some developer. So yes, I know it's hard to hold the door for a few moments before close and that you want to go home. Terrible customer service from the gal at the front desk when I came in today at 3:30. Didn't ask me if I wanted a copy of my receipt, instead ripped it up. I usually buy all my hair color products at Sally's every couple of months. A couple weeks ago, we were on a very busy schedule as a family, and I really needed to get some supplies so I could get my hair colored before the week ahead. My husband was closer to the store than I, but was barely going to get there in time before they closed. I called the store and asked the girl working if she could wait for him - she said she wasn't able to stay open longer. I told her the situation and asked her if she could gather the products I needed and have them ready for him to just run in and purchase. She was happy to do that (which was much easier than trying to tell my husband what to get). My husband arrived just before closing time, was able to run in and make the purchase - it made things nice and easy since she had everything I needed ready to go when he got there. Rude staff, and doesn't deserve any rating at all! Went to ask the girl about one of the products and she was on her phone, didn't even look up and answered me with 'mhm'. The hiring manager should really reconsider who they hire because if your employees can't provide good customer service and have no knowledge about the products you're selling, they should really find a different job that doesn't require that much face-to-face interaction.
