I miss RiteAid. The pharmacy workers here at Walgreens don't even look you in the eye. So unfriendly, but beyond that, they have take 3 weeks to fill a script and had to be asked multiple times to transfer a prescription from RiteAid. The prescription was never transferred or filled. Finally just had to ask doctor to write a new one. Not sure what's going on at this place but I'm hoping it improves in the future. read more

Walgreens is great when you need to pick up some random health & beauty products, vitamins when they are buy one get one free, and snacks And you don't feel like going to a large grocery store. This Walgreens, in the heights, serves this purpose. It's a large store, clean, wide aisles, everything is organized. I especially like checking out the seasonal items. Today I picked up a small igloo cooler for just $15 and an extra fold up chair so I'm ready for the summer concerts on the waterfront. No comments on pharmacy as I have never used their service. But Walgreens is so much more than a pharmacy and I'm happy with the other services they offer and items they stock. Huge parking lot out front. In same area as Ace Hardware and Rosauer's making it a convenient stop. read more

Terrible management. Whether your wait in your car for the driveup window or walk though the gaulntlet of Covid carrying coughers inside the store, expect a long, long, long, long wait at the pharmacy. Ridiculously understaffed. I don't blame the pharmacy staff themselves. I do blame the blood sucking megamillionaire executives that manage Walgreens in general. I had ordered an Rx refill on the day prior to attempting to pick the Rx up. The Walgreens computer system informed me that yes, they had received my order...only to be told at the driveup window that my Rx must be lost. This pharmacy is best avoided. read more

Pharmacy staff were great. They made the mundane process of picking up my prescriptions enjoyable. I was vaccinated twice here as well. Both vaccinations went very smooth. The staff was great. The wait times do vary. But that is not because of the staff. Sometimes more people go to the pharmacy at a particular time of day. There may be a line. Plan accordingly. read more

I had a different, positive experience. Dr phoned in prescription and it was ready in 45 min. Picked up at drive-through and although I was 3rd car, it only took 5 min. Staff was pleasant. Required a consult with pharmacist and she was very nice and gave dogs biscuits. read more

I hate this Walgreens! This pharmacy has got to be the slowest in town. I understand that filling an itital prescription might take some time, but 6 hours to fill a refill of 30 pills! Come on!?! And the inside of this place is depressing. It hasn't been remodeled since it opened, which I guess was in the early 90's. I plan on switching my prescription service down to Rite Aid on Cascade Ave. I don't know if they're prescriptions will be filled any faster yet, but their store is so much nicer to shop in. Stopped by to get my film developed from my disposable camera, now I didn't have much expectations for the disposable camera, it was mainly just a fun experiment and a nice way to relive the old days, I just wanted to get the film developed and get the negatives, turns out I don't even get to keep the negatives, since they send it out to a lab who knows where, and send the scans back via email and put on a CD, who knows how it works, important thing is, you don't keep your negatives, that's very upsetting. Ok fine you get a CD with the files and some prints, what really upset me was, the files that were on the CD were JPEG's, not TIFF, meaning I can't touch up MY photos in any way. Half the shots were under exposed or over exposed, I relied on the TIFF files to be able to recover those details. So the $16 I've spent on getting my film developed, 90% of the photos were useless, and uncorrectable. If I were to have TIFF files, I could've saved most of them, but since all I got were JPEGs, they're useless. read more

This pharmacy has always been slow, but my experience tonight was really the last straw. I had a prescription called in at 5 pm, showed up at 7:30pm, stood in line for 35 min, only to find out my prescription wouldn't be ready for another 1 1/2 hours! The pharmacist said they had 157 prescriptions in front of mine! What is even the population of HR? I love it here, but there's got to be a better pharmacy. read more

I love coming here, but I hate dealing with one cashier in particular. I don't know his name but he is a lot older, glasses and has white hair. He's so rude. Never wants to put my stuff in a bag. I always have to as for one and put my stuff in myself! Returns with him are like pulling teeth!! I forgot my receipt and his response was " ugh this is going to be a pain". read more

I have done business with this location for 5 years and over the past 6 months the service has abysmal at best. In August my Dr, sent them a renewal for a critical med. They continued to state they did not receive so in September my Dr, Sent another request. And oh its a miracle they found the August request, So by this time my meds are out of sync. When I advised the female assistant that this was there error and that they needed to make it right. She said okk but it will cost you. I let her know that she was less than a child of god. in October I went to pick up my orphan prescription I waited 15 minutes while pharm clerk chatted with a local. with 3 people in line. When I finally got to the counter she apologized I liked at her like really you call this service. For the last few months, I have called in a prescription to be refilled. Different times each time. EVERY TIME that I show up to pick up my prescription they tell me that it's not ready and to come back later. I specify a pick up time far enough in advance that there should not be a problem having it filled on time. read more

The pharmacist helped me transfer the script to this Walgreens and filled my prescription very quickly. He was very kind, charismatic, and knowledgeable. read more
