There is nothing they could do to improve because they do NOT care! There is a reason why they have such terrible ratings. Firstly, the pharmacy got the prescription FOUR days ago. The meds come PREFILLED, but when I went in to pick up my meds, I'm told it'd be 30-45 minutes--to GRAB TWO FREAKIN BOXES!!! I only use Walgreens for two meds only because my local pharmacy doesn't carry those two. I generally don't leave reviews especially with these large corporations because what difference does it make to them if they lose my business. They'll be ten more people to take my place. That's sad because it allows unprofessional, unethical, and undesirable behavior from employees. I genuinely HATE giving any money to Walgreens. It doesn't matter which one it is. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!!! Buy local as much as you can. Don't give your money to these terrible companies that have forgotten what customer service is supposed to be. I am always kind and friendly, and I know that the customer is NOT always right! As a former employee in the customer service industry, it disgusts me the way these people behave! The pharmacy here is horrible. Constant issues and they are usually late filling prescriptions. My latest prescription is delayed due to them running out of the medication... I come here a lot -mostly for toilet paper and laundry detergent- and use the app for their coupons. Most of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A few of their managers, however, don't seem to know what they're doing from the few times I've dealt with them. The pharmacy can get super busy during peak times so if possible, go when most people are at work or late at night. Their pharmacist Dr. Nguyen is super awesome. When my son was born and I was having a breastfeeding issue, he helped me find a product (Lanolin) that changed my life. I don't think he remembers it but I always will. read more

This location is a complete JOKE. Please save yourselves the headache and blood pressure spike and avoid at all costs. Employees here are lazy and totally incompetent. I checked in for a curbside order and waited and waited and waited. I have mobility issues which is why I do curbside; otherwise, I would've hopped out and retrieved my items myself. Called the store and was told they'd get to it when they'd get to it. What? So I ask the woman that answered phone to just cancel my order. She hangs up on me. I call back. No answer. So I call Walgreens customer service. They transfer me to store. Employee proceeds to get another woman on phone and both of them begin spewing 3rd grade level nonsense. I suppose they felt tough and courageous over the phone because after their little tantrum they hung up AGAIN. I had to place another call to Walgreens customer service to actually get the order cancelled. So over 45 minutes of wasted time and NO order. Pathetic. read more

I RARELY leave reviews because I understand the customer service industry but this was just plain rude by employee Desiree. I walked in the store around 7:30am to grab allergy medicine. I was waiting in line at the designated area for the cashier Desiree to walk up. I know from previous work experience in high school that you have to log into the computer with your credentials to starts checking out the customer. So I am standing there respectfully honoring that time for her to do that. So she logs into her computer, goes on her phone immediately, walks around behind the counter, kicks a few boxes around, goes back on her phone, stands there drinks her water, goes back on her phone and I'm literally there waiting for MINUTES mind you while she SEES me until the manager walks behind me (who I thought was a customer at first) and ask ME, "are you ready?" I say "yes but I'm waiting" and look at her and ask patiently "are you ready?" And she makes a face and says "Yeah". My question is if you saw me standing there waiting on you respectfully and honoring your time to get logged in and all that stuff then WHY didn't you say something like I can take you next or good morning are you ready? Or something? You just had me standing there for no reason. I was looking on my phone but eyeing her the whole time to be ready. read more

I don't come here often but when I do I have found everything adequate and standard like all other Walgreens. Located at the Beltway and West Road it has everything that Walgreens usually offer including an Allpoint ATM. My dealings with the pharmacy have always been good. They also have an outdoor electric charging station here which is unique. read more

Rude pharmacy staff. Been coming here for years because of the convenience of it being close to home, but have major problems with how unprofessional their staffing is. Rather than putting me on hold, they put me on speaker while they are doing other things (a lot of movement and chattering in the background), they ask for my information while I'm on speaker bc the person seems to be shouting on the other side to the room when speaking to me. If I can remember right, this is a violation of HIPPA. They never get back to me like they say they would. I have to keep calling them to make sure my things are taken care of... so frustrating and unprofessional! I think it's finally time to change pharmacy after this last issue. read more

I absolutely HATE this location! Only use it because it's close to me BUT I'm concerning moving to one that's further. The drive through is ridiculously slow and it's not any faster going in. They have lost my prescriptions before. Stuff isn't ready for pick up when they say it is. They need to either get rid of everyone or retrain everyone. read more

Clean and convenient , they also call you when your prescription is ready. Always get great service , just wished they were more organized in the beauty department area. They offer points for your purchases, and sometimes great sales on lashes. Lots of parking and a red box and eVgo pump you can also exchange your propane tank at this location. Faster and convenient. Taking up the middle are toys, food, clothing, home repair, motor oil, cosmetics, seasonal stuff like Halloween or Christmas stuff, and so on. Pros Usually well stocked with the drugstore items you need. Some less common items can be found. Very clean and neat Cons Not so cheap Vapid sales people and staff Slow pharmacy service Outside of going there to find an unusual item like a knee-shaped cold compress, Kroger's has faster and more pleasant pharmacy, and Target and/or Krogers does better on the non-drug type items. The management at this store is horrible. On July 29, I went to the store to pick up mediation from the pharmacy for my mother who has a terminal cancer. I forgot the pharmacy shuts down at lunch time. So, I did some shopping and patiently sat down in the waiting area for 30 minutes. Another customer comes up and is very frustrated that he had to wait the 5 minutes he was in line behind me. When the pharmacy opened back up he walked in front of me and said he is in a hurry. I explained that I am to, my mother is sick, that I need to get back to work, and that I had been waiting 30 minutes. I stepped back up in front of him. He grunted and sighed the entire time I was waited on. After I paid, and as I left the counter, he calls me a "fucking asshole" loud enough for everyone in the store to hear. I said sorry but I was in line first and in a hurry too as my mom has cancer and needs her meds. At that moment, I feel the pharmacist should have refused him service for verbally accosting another customer. Plus, the store mandated the wearing of a face mask due to the pandemic and he didn't have one on. Everyone else in the store had to wear one, but apparently he didn't have to. The pharmacist helping me didn't even tell him not to talking like that to other customers or say he had to wear a mask for service like everyone else. I went to the store manager to let him know what happened and as I'm talking the manager the customer approached and said he hopes my mother dies and called me more names. The manager didn't ever ask the man to leave, refuse him service or make him put on a mask. I requested a refund on all the items I had purchased and said I'd never be back to shop in this store. The customer said he was glad because he wouldn't have to see my ugly face again. Still, the manager didn't say anything to him but told me, "Oh, well, we hate to see you go. Let me get your refund." Another customer verbally accosted me and management didn't do anything to protect the innocent. Another person who was in line came to check on me and conveyed the same story to the manager, still he was willing to see me go rather than the cussing hateful customer. Plus, it was okay for him to be screaming and hollering without a mask on during this pandemic and against posted signage. I don't know why the staff were afraid of this man to the point they mistreated everyone else in the store. I have done business with Walgreens for decades. My mother has gotten lots of medications there due to her illness. Neither of us will ever go back to the store or the chain as I'm sure they are learning bad management from higher ups. The manager should have taken action on several levels. He should be fired. read more

So, this Wal-greens location recently screwed up BIG TIME in their pharmacy department! They gave me someone else's prescriptions! I was in the drive-thru to pick up my medicines, the woman helping me told me it would be $20.00 total. When I looked at the receipt, I saw that they charged me $25.00. I thought my insurance had gone up some so I didn't think any more of it and drove off. When I opened the bags they put the prescriptions in hours later (before bed), I looked at the bottles and saw that the medicines weren't mine at all! And neither was the name on the bottles! Wal-greens had closed by that time so I couldn't call them so I decided to deal with it in the morning. Before I even woke up the next day, Wal-greens had called me twice and left me two voice messages about their huge mistake. I called them back soon after and they had to ask me a few questions about medicine tampering, making sure I didn't take the wrong pills, etc. But what makes me the most mad at them is the pharmacist made excuses for their mistake! He said they were real busy that evening and the mistake was made because of that. Umm...WHAT?!?! What if the medicines I needed were life-saving and if I didn't take them, my health would then be the issue?! This could have been a lawsuit waiting to happen. I shop at this Walgreens often but had a great experience. I was running late for an event and need to get in and out. I was able to do so when there was a line and the cosmetic counter said there was no wait so I ran over to be checked out quickly so I could go on to my destination. read more

Fifteen minutes before arriving , my dr sent over my prescription. Once I arrived the drive thru attendant said they"just received the prescriptions and it would be ten minutes". I came back 10 minutes later and waited for another 45 minutes. Never using this pharmacy again. read more

Terrible terrible service. I've come here many times and yes you would think the process should be fairly simple. Get what you need and go. For once when I actually needed help at the photo booth I finally realized how bad the service actually is. So rude, unhelpful and will be obvious about it as well w/ out a care. Just know printing photos here is a rip off. Apparently you can do it online through their site at a discounted rates but even that process is like pulling teeth. Every time I asked for help Bc the kiosk either froze or would t accept my discount code the manager would act irritated. Help for a quick sec and immediately leave. The fact that I had to ask for help more than once at the same station should tell you to follow through but clearly she had poor service skills. Done with this place and surely will be using CVS less than 3 min away from now on. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. I just had a tooth pulled and needed my prescription filled. The pharmacist wouldn't fill my prescription because the surgeon didn't give me antibiotics to go with the pain meds. Um. I don't have an infection and my oral surgeon said I didn't need antibiotics. The pharmacists are extremely rude at this location. Would never suggest this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. read more

Disgusting rude inexperienced staff. Charged me more for my prescription and totally was oblivious and had no decency to apologize after I caught the error. Also I called in on Sunday to pick up the said prescription and upon arriving the girl gave me it so I gave her my credit card she said mam it was already charged. I said who authorize you to charge my card she said it was on file I was livid. When I attempted to find out why they had my card on file without me consent she then started accusing me that the card was not mine, and closed the drive through window on me.
