The cashier was very rude. When I asked for help at the photo counter, she said that she didn't know why I didn't see the "request help" button, and stated that everyone else sees it. I come to this store is because the staff cares. I don't have bad experiences with them. I just wish they could open longer hours. I always find what I needed on their shelves. I have been a Walgreens customer for decades. I've been to others all over the US. This by far is the worst I have ever experienced. The change has been relatively recent. It was never great but it was at least decent. But now it is unacceptable. The old manager is gone and they have a whole new set of stuff and they really don't know what they're doing. If you don't know enough to ask just the right questions they don't refill things on time, they don't cancel things when you've ask them, but worst of all, the staff is rude and unwilling to take responsibility for their inadequacies. I have used Walgreens because it is very convenient with the drive-through and their many locations. Also, their private discount coverage can be helpful. But you have to always ask them to use it. Why do you have to ask them to use their own discount plan that you purchased. Also, if you use a third party discount plan like GoodRx, they have the highest prices. Therefore, I have switched to Costco despite the inconvenience of having to go inside and not having one as close by. It is too bad that they can get away with it because I don't think most people think about it because they have insurance that pays for the medication. Hopefully more people will hold them accountable and things will change. read more

I dropped off my medications, and they blee me off, they are spanished operated, and I am a white person, they kept helping other over me and making me wait hours, while the others get stuff faster, and the others are Spanish people, so if your a white person, you will be discriminated against at the pharmacy section. I would highly recommend that you do not come to this location if your white, if your Hispanic you will get service over other races. Which is highly against the discrimination laws. read more

Had the worst experience with the older white "manager" at this location. I went to get 3 films developed here and it took them almost 2 months to get them developed. I understand it gets sent to a third party company, just jeez 2 months ? Anyway, i go to pick them up and i pay for them (big mistake. always check before you pay) and 1/3 of my films is completely blank. Just 25 blank photos. I go back to the young lady at the photo dept and i ask her why a whole pack is blank and why nobody caught this. Shes like idk. So i see a manager and I call him over and ask him what the deal was. He apologizes and says they should have caught that before sending it out blah blah blah. Im like whatever its fine can i just get a refund then? He starts pressing all the buttons on the computer and keyboard, talking about "idk why the computer is doing this" . Every time you ask for a refund, they start bullshitting i swear. He tells me it might be because the transaction just occurred and it may not be in the system yet... like what? that doesnt even make sense. its a machine. Im like whatever ill come back later then. so i come back like 5 hours later and still nothing. The manager is gone at this point and its just the dumb girl from photos who was just standing there on her phone. I ended up just getting the money back on store credit because nobody seemed to know how to work a refund. Ridiculous read more

The whole team, from store management, to regular employees and pharmacy staff are the best in the Walgreen's family. I had such a bad experience with a Walgreen's pharmacist in Austin, I swore I'd never use Walgreen's again. I gave them one chance, and thank God I did. They know me on a first name basis, but more over just care. They know about me beyond my name and medications. I like Walgreen's, but not this one. The pharmacy is not interested in customer satisfaction. If you show up at the counter, you're an inconvenience, and they will treat you like that. I asked them to fill a Rx and they said they don't carry it, handed me the Rx back and they were done with me. [FAIL] I got their attention and asked if they could order it, and after a sigh & look of disdain, they said (without looking) that it would take a while. [FAIL] They suggested I go to a different pharmacy. [FAIL] I asked (knowing that they could) if they could check their computers to see which Walgreen's have it in stock. [FAIL] Rolling his eyes, he checked & found a Walgreen's 30 minutes away (likely the most inconvenient one he could locate) that 'might' have it in stock, and that I could call & find out. [FAIL] If these guys cared about us, they would have said, "We don't have that in stock right now. I can order it for you, or I can see if there is a nearby Walgreen's that has it in stock. Would you like me to do that for you?" But, these are BAD pharmacy workers at this store. They need to be relieved from their duties as they are clearly not up to even the lowest standards. read more

Long horrible story. They are the only people with this illegal "rule" I got hpv early in life and when the vaccine came out I went to my doctor who agreed I'm a hedonist and gave me a prescription to the hpv vaccine. I don't want women dying from vertical cancer because of me. So I pay 275 per shot three shots. Also got all the other std shots. I walked into this Walgreens and they told me it was illegal to give me the shot they only give to 27 or younger. I said what the heck you think I stopped having sex st 27? I got a prescription my first shot. Gummies the second so I can be responsible. Mariper Lyde the nurse practitioner said she wouldn't give it to me. ( I believe because I came out saying I'm freaky) she said it was against the law and she couldn't. I asked her to show me rules that said that. She then came out to the whole clinic and started yelling st me that I was out of line and I wouldn't have needed the shot if I had lived my life better. I demanded a manager who acted scared as hell and gave me corporates number. Called corporate 5 min before the head was supposed to leave. She was so rude to me and I said "she's was ducking horrible" she said curse me again I hang up and make sure your complaint doesn't go through. I said "ain't that a birch, just as bad as your doctor who wouldn't make a cake for a gay couple... hey Walgreens every other pharmacy doesn't have a problem. My doctor I trust much more than a nurse practictioner whose English was terrible. My doctor says I need something the pharmacists and vaccinators give it. They are not doctors. I wen to their Take Care Clinic simply to take a TB to volunteer. Positive 1) wait time is not as long as going to a regular clinic because they get less customers. 2) Probably cheaper than going to a clinic. ( my insurance covered my test) Negatives 1) They need a secretary or administering person so that you can do your paperwork before you go into see the physician (instead of wasting 10 something minutes just filling your history and information with the physician) 2) My appointment time was 12:15pm and I came in at 12:05pm and did not get seen until 12:40 only because I walked into the physician room myself and asked to be seen after I waited 10 minutes sitting in the waiting room (and I was the only one waiting). 3) The physicians need to be more professional and care more about their customers. After an angry customer walked out of their room, they preceded to just chit chat for awhile. Ummm... I've been waiting for some time now. You really don't need to be talking about what just happened (they didn't administer or test anything for his kids- that is why he was angry). 4) when I asked to be seen, she said "I was about come get you" which was all lies because I was standing watching her and her manager talk. 5) If there are 2 of you guys in the back (and neither of you guys are at the front), why don't each of you guys see a patient? If only one is a licensed and the other is not, then Walgreens needs to revise their appointment time and have them more spread out or hire another physician, Seriously Walgreens, you need to hire better and more caring workers. read more

Crappiest shopping experience I ever had. Clerk at the check out had little or no training on basic courtesy. She seemed to have a control issue by refusing to check out my items because of a different name on the rewards account that I used which did not even amount to any savings....then after making me upset by this control posture told me she was just kidding and proceeded to check out my items ... there were like 5 people in line waiting for their turn while she wasted all of our time for her own ego. I was almost tempted to just walk out without purchasing the items. I don't need this kind of treatment from someone with a power-trip. When I spoke to the manager and explained my issue she pretty much expressed an indifferent attitude. Mediocrity at its best.
