Publix Pharmacy in Mulberry, Florida. Sometimes has prescriptions ready when they say they will. But take their phone nessages with a grain of salt. I was there an hour and a half after I was told the Rx would be ready. It wasn't. Hard to trust Publix any more. They use to under-promise and over-deliver. I've been getting my refills here for several years. I call the refill in the day before. When I arrive the next day, they make me wait 45 minutes before filling my prescription. I have watched them stop everything they are doing to jab people. Jabbing people is their first priority. This needs to be addressed. read more

My prescription is not ready for pickup. My doctor submitted the prescription order to Publix over one day ago. She sent the order to my local Publix rather than Express Scripts (mail order) because I need it immediately. I picked up the prescription for my husband, that got released from physical rehab after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Only 2 of the 7 prescribed meds were in the bag. I am originally from Illinois, here for 7 plus years and very ready to leave asap. I have had nothing but disappointment living in the sunshine state nor, would i ever return here, or recommend this state to anyone considering possibly retiring in hell. The medical care offered is a joke. My psychiatrist only wants huge amounts of cash for a 5 min medication review. Then if you cancel your appt, in an emergency let's say, he charges another $30 cash. My dentist is also a cash man...they want cash even before processing it thru your dental insurance. The golf carts, motorcycles, the speedway, the idiots driving those giant white or black ups drive very dangerously. Those golf cart drivers don't look to see if there are cars around. They are up on the lsidewalk and then down on the street?! make up your mind already! you are headed for death. Oh let's not forget Publix pharmacy.... do they even run your RX thru your insurance plan? Ah another scam. The RPHs are ok if NOT the feisty rude short blonde? female. She does not care to do ANYTHING outside her job description. NO one wears a name tag which is very unprofessional and annoying. who are you??? The tech, the non tech, a cashier or actually an RPH. Every single time I go into that Publix on Roscommon. I am greeted by several male techs, very unhappy technicians....one I believe is the laziest. he's male tall dark-haired now he's growing a goatee. Nothing is his job. I do not have this employee s name as he never introduces himself or again, never wears a name tag. Everything is your job You are supposed to call the doctor you're supposed to do this you're supposed to do that you're supposed to let them know weeks in advance that's ridiculous, and you're an idiot, I hope you're not in pharmacy school because you'll make a poor pharmacist. If you don't like your job-leave. i dread seeing you and knowing i will need to interact with you on some level, where you become agitated and argumentative. I've been getting medication from the Murfreesboro TN 37129 for about a year now. I have six prescriptions. One is for pain. I suffer with degeneration of the spine and cancer. They go past the 30 days every month, in fact I run out by two days. They treat me like I'm some sort of addict. I'm 59 years old. It's terrible being treated this way and cruel. One shouldn't have to suffer when you have illnesses. Worked as a pharmacy technician for 12 years. I would never treat someone like this. read more

Publix is convenient not only for food but prescriptions. The pharmacy department is open no walls between you and them (well a half wall is there) so for me that means they can't act like I'm not there when I walk up, which has never been a problem ! You know when you are sick and in need of medication you want help and fast..sad but true! They seem to realize that and are very helpful, once your prescription is done they go over the do's and don't and don't just say "are there any questions?" Which like I said...you're sick, you don't know anything any more! Then if you want soup already hot you can go to the deli and get it! Then drink fluids, take your meds and go to bed! read more

, Typical for Publix the customer-service is always very good. The gentleman who bag my groceries was very friendly personable and professional. The cashier had a wonderful style I believe her name was Celeste. My only concern What's with the pharmacy. As I waited my turn I watched the pharmacist count pills by pouring the last remaining for her count into her hand and using her fingers to count the pills wearing no gloves. The extra pills not needed were then and the Palm of her hand poured into the original container. Both the customer bottle and the dispensing container were contaminated by her using her bare hands with no gloves. There was an infection control issue for sure. It is for that reason only that I give one star. The kicker to it she was the pharmacy manager. She should have known better than to Pour some pills into her bare hand then using her fingers to count out the ones she needed and returned the remainder back into the original container. read more

Ok ok everyone loves publix we know. Honestly they have excellent customer service. That's what they are known for. I always hear great things about their cakes as well. So naturally I came here for a cake and cupcakes for a party I hosted. The cake was absolutely beautiful and just want I ordered. Now the cupcakes on the other hand were not. I had asked for cupcakes to resemble a picture I found on Pinterest of hydrangea's. What I got was just a basic cupcake with icing. Not really what I wanted, but I didn't argue. I figure they didn't know how to do that. Even though I gave them a picture. Oh well I was a little disappointed. But the cake itself tasted so good and moist that I couldn't complain. This specific location is really just a step above average on their customer service. I have my favorite locations and this is not one of them. They are not terrible but they are also not the best. Also if you are going to use coupons I would recommend going to a different location. I always feel like dirt when I use coupons here. I just quit coming here. read more

out of the sudden my daughter health insurance was not been accepted at any local pharmacies, I was very concerned because my daughter needed her treatment for Covid, after calling several pharmacies with no luck I decided to call Publix Pharmacy in kendall Miami (the new crossings shopping center ) I spoke to Gloria - and she also confirm that at the present time there were not accepting her insurance either, She felt my frustration as a mother and she started looking for options !! I do love this Publix. The customer service gets a 5, from butcher to pharmacy. But they tend to lack in some of the items that other Publix stores carry, an their hours take some getting used to for me. I love that there is a liquor store attached... took me a while to figure that out... And the fact that they share a large lot with Target makes it a great place for getting everything on your average weekend list. My favorite thing about Publix has to be their baggers. Patrick is the absolute nicest person I have ever met, and never accepts a tip. He always just tells me he loves his job. He's so sincere, I believe him. Dee is one of many cashiers who has watched our baby grow from my belly to my arms and she is always quick with a smile or a balloon. read more

My Pharmacy of choice like that there is a drive up for prescription pick up normally there's not a long wait. Wish they would inform customers which are dropping off prescription that they will have to bring it in or go to the back of the line in order to not inconvenience to the customers waiting for prescriptions that are ready. It's a store full of food! Can't beat that. This Publix always has fresh produce and good quality meat. Sometimes I hear people say that Publix is expensive. Sometimes it is for your average product, but they're always having great sales and tons of bogo deals. Publix also offers in store coupons, which you can use along with a manufacturer coupon or a competitor coupon. Definitely brings down the prices on a lot of items. I'm a fan. read more

Tonight I attended a Apron's Cooking School event. The guest chef was Tom Grey of Moxie fame. They also paired each course with another new wine. Being a non drinker I can't say much about the wine. There was some red stuff and a few white looking ones too. Then Tom started cooking and we started eating. Each dish was fully explained and he made it. Well kind of you know like they do on the cooking channel. Now the food we ate was quite tasty. From the deviled eggs which were of 3 separate preparations. One was free range from Cognito Farms, one from publix organic, and one from EB brand pre cooked ready to serve. Now you could really tell the difference between all 3 eggs. Liking the Cognito farms the best on the egg. But, the filling I favored the blue cheese crumbles and fried chicken the best. We moved onto the kale salad with a bunch of other stuff in it but I'm not a big fan of kale. Rubbed, bruised, or slap beat to tar out of. I just don't care for it. But, I do like Twin Bridges Farms thou. We then went to the entrée of pork cutlet that was pounded out and crusted with some bread crumbs. It also had a chow chow over a redneck risotto. This was good and bad all on the same plate. The cutlet was hammered but the risotto was really good and so was the chow chow. We all finished up with a pan fried apples and some ice cream. In all it was a good night and Tom did a fine job. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. read more

Yes WalMart might be cheaper but I'll pay a little more for the friendliness, selection, and cleanliness anytime!!! From the Boars Head deli selection, subs, and spicy wings you can't go wrong !!! The store is always clean, produce always fresh, and you don't have to deal with the nastiness, and only having 4 of the 32 lanes open like WalMart !!!! read more
