This review is for the pharmacy only. My boyfriend needed to have his prescription refilled while we were away from home, and he has previous experience with our local Walgreens pharmacy in LA, so we decided to stop in and have his medication filled there in Kalispell. It started off with them telling us that his prescription had to be moved over to them, and change it once we returned home. Fine, not a problem. We waited. We made friendly small talk with some of the local residents and exchanged laughs. A few more minutes had passed, and other people who had waited with us were getting their medication, but we had not. We were told that something could take anywhere from a day or two days, it was really unclear what they were talking about. My boyfriend called his local pharmacy to ensure that they faxed over his prescription and information, and they said they did a few minutes ago. However, the pharmacist at Kalispell Walgreens insisted that they didn't receive the fax yet. My boyfriend's local pharmacist was really confused and concerned that the fax had not arrived yet and when he put her on speakerphone, she said that she could resend the fax, or confirm to refill the prescription over the phone, depending on what the laws were in Montana. One of the Walgreens pharmacy employees scoffed when she heard my boyfriend's pharmacist say that she could confirm his prescription over the phone. The employee told his pharmacist, "We can't do that" . His local pharmacist started to say, "That's not true, that's not true" she couldn't even finish her sentence before the Walgreens employee turned to the pharmacist and made a sneering remark about what they were being told. The Walgreens pharmacist then came over, while still behind the counter, and was just saying "No" continuously at my boyfriend's pharmacist, reached over the counter, and pressed the End Call button on my boyfriend's phone. The Walgreens pharmacist proceeded to berate my boyfriend in front of everyone, telling him that he caused conflict between him and his local pharmacist. Whatttt??? All my boyfriend wanted was his medicine and understanding about when he would get his medicine. The Walgreens pharmacist completely failed to show professionalism, compassion, empathy, and patience. I was personally offended, disappointed, shocked, and appalled by this behavior. This pharmacist showed the upmost contempt and disrespect towards my boyfriend. I would strongly recommend staying away from this place and getting your prescription filled elsewhere. No person deserves to be treated like this. read more

Bought 100 Potty Pads for $30, a good deal, EXCEPT when I received the product I received HALF or 50 Potty Pads but still charged for 100. REALLY watch Walgreens, it's better to pay a bit more, go to another store that doesn't employ these tactics. read more

Jacob (pharmacy) is absolutely extraordinary (in all positive ways): Extremely intelligent, tremendous memory for the technical details of his work as well as customer names and faces, extremely friendly and good-natured, and tailors his approach to the specific needs (hearing, cognitive speed, etc.) of each customer. It's obvious that he genuinely likes his customers and wants the best for each of them. What a tremendous asset to this store. read more

I want to rate this walgreens lower then 1 star. I have been going to this store since 2006 for prescriptions cards, family gifts. Today, I wanted to wash my hands in the bathroom before touching a valentine's card. I was told In a very smug and rude way that the bathrooms are no longer for customers. As usual, it's never a pleasurable experience working with the Walgreens pharmacy. The pharmacy techs are extremely rude. You're on hold for over an hour on the phone with "one caller ahead of you". It's impossible to get through to them. I asked if they could rush my prescription after sitting in hold for over an hour, because I was headed out of town in an hour for my fathers funeral, who passed away on Monday, and the pharmacy tech replies "yeah, well I have about 20 other people in front of you who have told me the exact thing". No sympathy, just plain rudeness. I don't typically go here but I didn't let my provider know I'd like it sent to another place. 0/5 stars. DO NOT recommend. Support your local pharmacies. If I could give zero stars I would. I stopped by to drop off a FedX return and both employees I spoke with were nothing short of nasty. Not an ounce of customer service and they clearly don't like having to deal with these. Ultimately it got done, but not until the employee handling it threw the printed label and a tape gun on the counter and said "Once you've tape the box and put the label on it will be shipped". For the record, I didn't have a problem doing that, it was the way both employees acted that was so disappointing. I'm not sure why people have to be that way. If they are that miserable doing their jobs, they should look for other employment. read more

The pharmacy staff helped me apply a secondary insurance that was having difficulties. They patiently tried to diagnose the request and found the issue to be a glitch with how the prescription count was interpreted by my insurance. They were able to refill using a different count and get the secondary insurance to apply. This saved me over $2000 and I am very grateful for their professionalism and dedication. I had previously good interactions with the staff and the customer service was well enough not to complain. However, an interaction that I had with the management staff member changed my opinion of this place. I had placed an order for cards in the photo center. Upon picking them up I noticed 4 were miss cut and not printed correctly. I returned to get them reprinted, no problem. She took my 4 cards and I was on my way. The next day I returned for my reprints and they were no where to be found. No problem, just resubmit the order the gal told me as the photos were already out of the system, and they will be complimentary. When I returned to the store to pick up the resubmitted photos I was greeted with a not so nice manager. I tried explaining my situation to her many times and she was unable to hear and understand what I was saying. She was insistent that I was doing something incorrectly and when the original gal came over and explained the situation she still was unable to accommodate. Just saying the same things insistently over and over. The interaction ended with the manager shoving the photos over to me in a huff. I took my 4 and left. I honestly feel for the staff if this is the leadership they have to look up to. That staff is unable to be successful due to the poor quality and poor hospitality of their support team. This poor interaction is something that has changes my opinion of the store and its ability to take care of its customers. I would give 1/5 stars but my interactions have been fine until now. I hope for better management strategies for their staff and customers. read more

The lady running the register was extremely rude to the lady she was doing a transaction for. The lady was trying to add money to a card, which is a service that they provide. The cashier, an older lady I didn't get her name was rolling her eyes and sighing because the customer was having issues with the card reader reading her card. The cashier then proceeds to tell the next customer in line, that this is ridiculous, and says I don't know why "they" don't just get a bank account like everybody else. I was in line for the same reason to add money to my card. I so badly wanted to tell that cashier how rude and disrespectful she was by treating the customer that way. I have a bank account, but my issue is that there is not one of my banks in this area and I need to deposit money. Not that it n is any business of that cashier, she's there to work the register and provide the service that her employer provides, and supposed to do it with a smile at that!!! read more

This Walgreens is so bad, for so many reasons, that I no longer trust them to fill my scripts correctly. My doc faxes them scripts and it takes days to get them filled. They're not always in stock on commonly prescribed meds and I've had to either go without for 3 days, or drive 34 miles round trip to have another Walgreens fill the prescription. Whether inside or out, wait lines are long - always. They've eliminated one of the two drive-thru lines, doubling the wait time there. I've had texts that scripts are ready for pick up, only to find on arrival they are not. I don't know how long their website has been down - probably longer than the 2 days I've been trying to get on. I'm hoping to find Walmarts in the locations I travel, because I'm going to transfer my account. read more

there's an older lady who is rude every time i come in. i had already gotten what i needed today and was walking to check out and she asked if i'm looking for something specific, i started to say well i already got what i need, got as far as "well i-" and she interrupted me and said "yes or no." why ask me if i need help if you're not willing to be spoken to past a yes or no? rude, don't seek me out and speak to me if you don't want to be spoken to. read more

First the store is FILTHY- the floors have drips on them and dirt ground in and there are dust bunnies floating around the floor. The pharmacy techs are nice however I was told that my script was put thru and it would be 30 minutes then after an hour wait I was told it was NOT put thru and I was told I would have to wait another HOUR . Where to even start. Error 1.) picked up my anti depressants and received 20 less pills than indicated on my bottle. I didn't count my pills like you would bills after a withdrawal at the bank, so I found out several days later. Insurance wouldn't cover more. So there was not way for me to finish my month without my 20 meds. I requested the staff to recount their on hand meds and there was an error in their favor so they gave me the additional 20 pills. Though I went through med withdrawals for two days. Error 2.) I was prescribed a new sleeping med, doctor sent the rx over. Pharmacy lost the script and had to call me to ask who the prescribing DR and drug was... Error 3.) I called to ask when (above) script would be ready, they said they had 10 pills that could be picked up now and the other 20 would be available shortly, I thanked them (even though I called them) and went to pick up the 10 pills. They weren't ready as promised so I waited 20 additional minutes for them. Error 4.) day 12, two days without my new meds I get a voicemail saying my scripts are ready for pickup. I wait in drive through line (30 min) grab my rx and leave. I check what I received when I get home..... I still haven't gotten any more than 10 pills of my new sleep medication. They refilled my antidepressants instead. So here I am in line again wasting more of my life hoping to finally get my sleep meds filled. In the mean time I am exhausted, overwhelmed and fed up. Good luck- I have given so many chances and am a good kind customer. Bye after many loyal years Walgreens. Also as a person who works in a prescriber office myself - I am on hold with this office for 30+ min at a time getting our patients med lists. Unorganized and dysfunctional this many errors could be expected at a fast food restaurant, not at a pharmacy dealing with peoples health. Shame Walgreens read more

Would give a zero if I could. I travel all over, and have been to pharmacies all over the US. This by far and above the absolute worst place to have to deal with. My dr. sent in a new prescription for a 90-day supply of insulin (12 vials) on a Saturday. When I called to check on it, I was told they were out of stock, but would have my medication available by Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. So I went in Tuesday evening, only to find that my prescription had not been touched. I waited in the store for over an hour, only to be given a partial fill of my order (1 vial), with the promise that the remainder would be ready the next day. I gave them a week, and returned the following Tuesday. Of course, nothing was ready. From the note on the partial fill, I was suspicious that they were not going to give me the correct number of vials (remember, my Dr. had requested a 90-day supply of 12 vials). I asked the tech who was "helping" me how many vials was I going to receive to complete the order. After ignoring the question several times, he grudgingly answered "3 vials". Then came the dreaded wait. The 30 minutes turned into 2 hours. By this time, I was sick of dealing with them, so went thru the drivethru. And, sure enough, received only 2 vials to "complete" my prescription. I may be old, but my math says that 12 divided by 3 should give you 4. So, back in I went, repeating to myself "breathe. don't get mad". After another wait in line, I spoke to the same tech, and told him that I needed another vial, they had shorted me. He went back to the fridge to grab the extra vial, but was stopped by the pharmacist (?) James. He had a calculator in his hand, and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, and that I only needed 3 vials, because that was 30 mls, and 30 mls covers 30 days. I use a pump, and anyone who uses one knows that there is some loss of insulin when filling and priming, so an extra supply is required. He refused to see it the way my Dr. had written and INTENDED for me to have. Then he told me to watch my language, since in my frustration, I had said "this sucks." Ended up paying out of pocket for the 4th vial. Transferred my prescriptions immediately to another pharmacy Will not set foot inside every again! read more

This is consistently the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with... as I'm typing this, I've been on hold for 36 minutes to check the status of a prescription that they've had for 5 hours... called at 4 hours, and it wasn't ready, they said check back in an hour.. it could not be run any worse, and unless you've got untold hours to waste, go somewhere else. read more

scheduled appointments for covid shots arrived on time checked in had our paper work ready . There were walkin people that came in after we did they had to fill out their paper work. The person giving the shots kept calling out the names of people that walked in without appointments. After waiting 40 min we asked for our cards back so we could get on with our lives . The person giving the shots called out our name after my wife had allready left the building I was told that they were a hour behind we should have been told that when we checked in since we were the only ones with an appointment and the others were walkins . Everyones time is important so a little communication would have been great. read more

I love Walgreens.Even though it's a little pricier then say walmart,it's a much better shopping experience and it's nice not to have to go all the way uptown when I only need a couple items.Nora,Noreen and I believe(will double check his name)his name is Chris are the best.I look forward to coming in here when they are there unlike the very unfriendly woman with the accent.She was rude and unfriendly to me and then when she helped the next person in line behind me her attitude changed and she were slightly nicer and friendlier to them but her attitude change was noticeable.No one should be treated that way.But all in all I like Walgreens. read more

I've used the pharmacy for many years and have been very pleased over the years with services. Over the last few months my prescriptions haven't been filled on a timely basis, I've endured 30 minute lines to pick up prescriptions and when I have complained to the pharmacy manager I've been met with resentment and excuses. Last week a prescription was ordered on Wednesday and was not filled until Monday while I waited. I was told that no prescriptions had been filled over the weekend. read more

After 14 years of being a loyal Walgreens customer I am done. When I am treated as if I am lying when I return to the store with a receipt to say that a $9 item was not in my bag when I got home, then I am done. I have never returned an item or returned to the store to say I was missing an item and my customer reward account would verify that. I took the last of this product off the shelf and when I got home it was not in the bag. When I return to the store, surprisingly there is one back on the shelf. Did they receive a shipment of one item or was there a run on Elf primer? I doubt it. Can't go lower than one. read more

Getting a little run down, like most of them, but I've always had good service here, from Pharmacy to odds and ends. If I'm looking for a bargain, Walgreens is not my go-to. They're kinda spendy, but that's because they usually have whatever you might need and in the wee hours of the morning. That's useful, if you don't want to drive all the way to Wally World and find out what you need is outta stock. Pharmacy has decent prices and a reward program. Passport photos are available for 12.99. The photo tech was really sweet and personable on 9/16 at about 4:30 pm. Can't remember her name??? I mostly like Walgreens when I'm traveling because it usually has clean bathrooms and travel necessities. read more

I get all of my prescriptions filled here because it is the closest pharmacy to me and there isn't a ton of other ones in Kalispell. I like it because it is a chain pharmacy so you know you could transfer your prescriptions if you needed to depending on what they are of course. The drive thru is super convenient so I go through that a lot and it can be hit or miss on the time of day you end up going. Sometimes you can come at a time when the lines are so long and you will be better off going inside than to wait in your car. I have heard that sometimes people wait to get their prescription filled after dropping it off while they are still waiting in line instead of pulling over to wait for it to be ready. That is one thing that bothers me because I can understand if you are waiting to pick it up or something but to drop it off and wait it is better to go inside because you can walk around the store and they can call you over the speaker when it is ready. Otherwise you are just making people wait longer than they have to because they probably just want to drop their prescription off and go about their day. When it comes to this aspect I really wish people who were wanting to wait for their scripts would go inside but if there isn't a line when they are doing it I guess it isn't that big of a deal. I have learned from this to not try to wait when there is a line. Most of the time it will take a while. The people that work here are friendly and helpful and this pharmacy is 24/7. read more

There is one very rude female tech (not pharmacist) that works there. I have been going to Walgreens for over 10 years and for the last few months every time I go there and have to deal with her she's beyond rude, demeaning and short tempered. I even called to see why my prescription was still processing when a lady at 830 am told me it was good to go and pick up at any time and it was now 8 pm and was now still processing. I just asked why and she was rude and started going off on why I was trying to fill it 2 days sooner. I explained I was leaving for a few weeks and just trying to get my prescriptions filled ( it was already pre authorized by my doctor) and I was polite and told her why I needed it. She said "oh you want to talk to my pharmacist? Fine here she is" I never asked to speak to the pharmacist and waste their time just wanted to know the status. I believe she was just saying that in front of the pharmacist to make them take over the call. I have had nothing but problems with them for over 6 months. Making a switch to a different pharmacy. I didn't want to because of how convenient it is to drive through but I can't stand being treated badly anymore. Also there has been a problem with my prescription every single time I pick it up lately. The service and brains of the workers has definitely gone down hill lately. read more

Called to get prescription filled and it had to be transferred from another pharmacy was told two hours and it will be ready. No text no phone call after four hours so we went in and they had not even called to get it transferred. Medication is important and they need to do much better! read more

Today, Saturday, June 25, 2016, picked up perscriptions ordered Friday the 24th. These perscriptions are from our home Walgreens in Arizona. They are not common scripts and have discounts associated with them that apply only if u notify the pharmacy at pick-up. The scripts were ready ahead of time to our amazement. We only stopped to see if they had received the order. Not only were they ready but the know discounts were applied and one unknown discount was applied. Their customer service attitude, actions and willingness are well above any expectation you can have. We travel the country 12 months a year and this is the first time I am compelled to write a Walgreens review. Keep up the the performance,, you could be a training facility for other stores in your system. CONGRADULATIONS team,,,!!!! read more

This rating is conditional: if you encounter the male pharmacist who works late at night, this rating is true. If you are lucky and find the women pharmacists, you're in very good hands, and the rating for them is 4 Stars. This male pharmacist was not only rude, but condescending, lazy, uninformed, and a male chauvinist who tried to bully and intimidate me into NOT asking for what I needed, mainly because he didn't want the BOTHER of doing a little paperwork in order to get me the generic I needed, so he told me they are "all the same," which is categorically untrue. He put me on hold twice, after which I hung up rather than wait, again, for him. His behaviour has now lost his employer a good customer, as I will never go back to this pharmacy, and instead, will find one that will help its clients with whatever they need, and are caring and kind. This man should have his license pulled, and he should be booted out of any medical position whatsoever. read more
