When the Covid crisis first began, Walgreens started a new practice of putting your credit card back in the bags and not giving them back to you at the drive-up window. Naturally, we didn't know, so we're driving home and realize we have no credit card. We're panicky and drive back several miles - they put it in an envelope in a separate bag with the Rx's. It just would have been "professional" to say if it is a new practice, "Your credit card is in the bag." We could've been in a store - at the cashier and realize we didn't have our card! Very inconsiderate practice to cause customers added stress. They are NOT helping in the Covid crisis in this way. Several times we have noticed they seem to want to "push" your medications on you before you need them. We have fallen for this several times and end up with more at home than we need - and they have EXPIRATION DATES, which Walgreens will never mention (but we found out FRED MEYER Pharmacy does and in a kind manner). We had a couple RX to pick up and a guy on the phone said our Doctor won't pay for something else anymore. It scared us, naturally, so we spent the afternoon and evening making calls and figuring out how to order this other RX. It turns out we didn't even NEED it for quite some time. The doctor just wanted us to order generic the next time we needed it - did the Walgreens person say that? No. Did they offer something generic? No. They left you to worry. I think they leave out information like that so you will order it anyway, thinking there won't be any left or something. Horrible to do business with such a place and with such a manager - in these times of CRISIS. We ended up getting a GoodRX card and got generic from FRED MEYER for only a few dollars - generic and helpful, professional service at the counter. They even told us to be careful of the expiration dates if we have some at home already. Now that is what you want in a pharmacy. FMeyer impressed us a lot. They also have an RX membership you can join to get lower and free prices from other prescriptions not covered under GoodRX. Nice to know! Head supervisor at Walgreens has several times quoted us a different price than the person who notified us on the phone - who does that? She said, "You have been paying this certain price for the last several months." We had not. I didn't know we needed to carry our past Walgreens RX records with us each time, to prove her wrong. No one else quotes us wrong prices but her. Why management doesn't do something about this squirrely practice, is beyond me. read more

I had covid test appt set for 11:45 on 01/30 was early. Also received email in morning making sure I'm coming. I arrived to find pharmacy closed. But they allowed me to schedule appt back on thursday. My appt is time sensitive. i was told by manager they were closed. I asked why they are accepting online appts if they are closed. She wouldn't even answer. I wouldn't even bother setting and appts with Walgreens. They are going down hill with customer service read more

It's a Terrible Pharmacy, the lines are long they always get the prescription wrong (the Pharmacist is a bigot as well) and NEVER get your Bottledrop account cashed out there unless its rounded off cause they'll steal your money. read more
