This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a…read morepassport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers? Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them. Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?

It's not their fault you don't know how insurance works; take that up with your CCO. It's not their fault your copay's high; again, take that up with your CCO. It's not their fault they're out of stock, not their fault you're getting generic and not name brand, and certainly not their fault that your doctor's office hasn't sent them the prescription you need. The system is broken, and for working in a broken system, they're doing a great job. I also don't attempt to pick up my medication until I get a notification saying it's ready. Super effective and efficient.

This is for the phone system, NOT the providers. When one calls, the recording says "you are the…read morenext caller", over and over and over. The majority of us who call are not developmentally challenged. We know that we are not ALWAYS the next caller. It is insulting to keep telling the caller that he or she is the next caller. Furthermore, every time this message breaks in, the song (Baby Elephant Walk) starts over at the beginning. Come on--you can do better than this for your patients (and their patience!)

Anyhow, I proceed to check out but she tells me I cant; in order to get cash back I have to buy something...and even then one can only get $20 maximum out per transaction. So...I ran and grabbed the closest thing I could find that my husband would enjoy: two packs of zingers!! Viola! I have my two items!! Well, I get back in line and got the dirtiest looks. I explained to her what was going on and apologized that I had to get two $20s to pay my postage at the Mail Depot. My teen daughter dropped off a disposable camera for processing before the holidays with some…read morepictures with her best friend during her trip to Indiana last July. She was so excited to get them developed, so I went in with her and showed her how to order prints. When she picked them up, she was charged about $10 for processing and a cd. Sadly, the envelope included two dark blurry prints, the cd and a note that said the roll was exposed. She was extremely upset about her pictures not turning out and the added insult of having to pay for nothing. I took the envelope back to the store and talked to the manager, who went above and beyond to apologize and make things right. He said staff is supposed to check each order and call customers when things like that happen. He apologized profusely and promptly refunded the cost of developing and added points for our trouble to the new MyWalgreens rewards program. This is what customer service looks like to me!

Very frustrating. This is the first time I've had an issue buying it right before close time. I come late most days but it's always before closing time and I'm always helped. If I'm feeling a prescription and it's really expensive, they will try to find ways to reduce the cost. That dreaded warning light had been on in my car for 400 miles, and I finally took the time off to…read moretake care of it. I pulled around to the auto center and went inside to inquire about an oil change. There's a limited staff, so nobody was at the desk, so I waited a bit before someone acknowledged me. Finally, I was directed to pull my car up in the designated area outside the garage and someone would come write up a work order. I didn't wait long, but was glad I got there when I did because I was told I would be the last customer. I got there at 3:30 and they close at 5:00, so plan accordingly. I was told it would be done in about an hour and a half and opted in for text updates when given the option. What to do for an hour and a half?! I walked next door to Lowes and browsed a bit before I inadvertently pocket dialed a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while. We had a great conversation over face-time for about 45 minutes. Then I checked out the plants, and before long, got a text that my car was being worked on. I headed back and played solitaire on my phone in the waiting area until my car was done. In total, my full synthetic oil change was $55, a deal compared to other 'quick' oil change spots around town charging upwards of $99. They weren't fast, but they were professional and got the job done. With inflation affecting everything these days, I look for savings where I can get it.
