They know exactly where every item is! Also, when it appeared that the popular brow gel that I was looking for was all sold out, one of the female sales associates suggested that she looked in the locked cabinet below the display. I was happy that she found more stock in there! I found and purchased everything that I planned to buy in this visit within a short time. I will definitely continue shopping here.

In the last 6 months she has added about a half dozen products, many of them whole food herbal products to her line of Mediterranean sourced oils for the skin, hair and face. When I first started ordering them about 5-6 months ago, they came from the manufacturer with a seal over the screw on cap. More recently in the last 2-3 months, these products no longer had a seal on them. In fact, none of her products had a manufacturer's date or expiration date. She said that the herbs in them acted like a natural preservative and they would last years on the shelves, much like spice blends that you purchase in the grocery store, so I didn't think much of it. Her topical sealed Hair, Skin and Hair products, were selling faster than the food/ herb based supplements mainly because the labeling was so unprofessional on the food/ herb based products. I s/w her regarding her labeling, which she created on her computer, and several times the labels actually fell off the bottles and I would have to tape them on. About 3 weeks ago, a weird fermentation/ chemical reaction was happening in the bottles of 2 of her whole food/ Herbal products. I took pictures and brought it to her attention. Due to the fact that these products were not SAFETY SEALED for the protection of the public, which is a standard in the supplement and OTC industry since the TYLENOL murders in the 70's. I then got a complaint from a friend of mine, who I had given a couple large bottles of her Maca and Camu-Camu to. My friend opened both bottles and found that they both contained the same product, Camu-Camu, instead of one being Maca. When I brought this to Ms. Aleksi's attention, she said she would send my friend a bottle of the Maca, she never did. Her sloppy manufacturing and mislabeling can cause food born illness and Anaphylaxis.

My first colorist was very nice. I liked the color. My only complaint was I had roots showing within a couple of days. I had joined the pro level subscription, which meant I could get my roots done as often as I wanted. This is where it went downhill. When I went to try to get my roots done, I was told there was nothing wrong with them, and it must be the lighting. For a company who says you can come in as many times as you'd like for root touch ups at the pro level, they certainly do not want you to. The tech did my roots. The next day, I dried my hair, and my roots were showing!! I used the powder they sold me, and waited two weeks. I went back for another root touch up. The same thing happened. I washed my hair, with appropriate products, and my roots appeared. Whatever they had been using since my first trip was not permanent. I now had well over a half an inch of roots. We come to today. The tech asked if I used demi-permanent or permanent dye. I said "Permanent dye." I was getting an all over dye color, hoping this would color all of my roots. I was shampooed. I dried my hair, and left. Imagine my shock and dismay when I looked in the mirror and saw my roots!! What products are they using over there? No, it's not the lighting. No, it's not an "ashy" color. I went home and my son noticed right away. My husband noticed when he came home. I am very disappointed. I have cancelled my membership.

Had extra hair to return because the policy states returns are taken up to 7 days after purchase. I come in and the employee says he can't do returns but he can do exchanges which are the exact same thing. He then says only the owner can do returns . Which is not at the store. He says they'll be back within 30 minutes so I wait. He and the other cashier then start speaking another language about a "return" . All while I continue to wait on their manager. I would not recommend this beauty supply to anyone. I can't wait for another one to open in the area. Because they've been doing bad business for too many years.

We were informed the scratch offs were allocated by day and we'd need to return tomorrow to get one. We returned the next day, and the experience was completely different. Raye was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful--offering product insight, lipstick swatches, and consistent assistance. She truly saved the experience and is the reason I'm willing to give this location another chance. I usually shop the Deerfield location, which consistently has excellent service. I'm hopeful the first visit was due to opening fatigue and not a reflection of the store's overall culture.
