As such, unless you drive a lifted or big tire vehicle, you will scrap your wheels on the curb. You can see that the curb is covered in black marks from all of the cars that crashed into it. I wish that I took a picture but I just wanted to leave after the worker told me that he was sorry, it was a design flaw but there was nothing that they could do to help.

I was immediately told in a very aggressive tone that lottery is closed. I can use the machine. Trust me, I would have preferred to use the machine, but the ticket I wanted was behind the register. I then asked why scratch-off lottery was closed and he yelled that they close at 9? Still prompting for an explanation, as I knew that you could purchase and redeem lottery scratch-off tickets, until 2am, he simply screamed that it was closed and to get out. Please refer to the link stating specifically the timeframe you can purchase and redeem scratch-off tickets in Illinois. What time do they stop selling scratch off lottery tickets in Illinois? (askinglot.com). At this point I began to videotape because I was that upset. I proceeded to ask to speak to a manager and he said, get out, you can come back in the morning. I asked if I could give him/her a call and he refused. In the meantime, my sister wanted to check out an item she won through your current Fuel Runner promotion. He did finally check her out but was not happy about it. In fact, he mentioned under his breath that you only come in here to get everything free! Yes, we do come in because this is the only location near us, to redeem our promotion earnings, but if they did not want to honor these, they should not be a Circle K Franchise. This is simply unacceptable as nobody should be treated this way, especially as a customer. To make matters worse, I stopped back in this evening 4/28 at 8:30 p.m. to purchase the scratch-off tickets. It was a different clerk, so I asked him what time they stop selling scratch-offs behind the counter. He told me never. You can purchase those 24/7! So, here in lies my point. Absolutely ridiculous. Out of all the Walgreens stores that I have been to, the one in Deerfield Square stands out as the…read moremost pleasant one to shop at. This Walgreens is large and airy, bright and clean, with a more upscale feel to it. It is fully stocked. One big advantage of this store is that it is opened 24 hours a day! Another factor that impresses me most is the store's management. It has not just one, but two very nice and helpful managers. It had happened that I had clipped a $9 digital coupon online. Its requirement was to spend $40(or $30?) in a Walgreens store and I would get the coupon when I checked out. However, it didn't happen even after I spent the required amount. Long story short, the female manager was very nice and helpful, she apologized and manually added a $10 credit to my Walgreens loyalty account. When I went home and checked my Walgreens account online, I didn't see the added $10. So, the next time I went to this Walgreens, I talked to another manager, Sergio. The female manager had gone for the day. Sergio was very patient, kind, and helpful. To our surprise, he found that I actually had two accounts with Walgreens (apparently a mixed-up done by the pharmacy of another Walgreens), one with a slightly different name. The female manager had somehow credited the account that I did not know I had, and therefore did not actively use. Sergio gave me the phone number of their tech support department that could help me eliminate one of the accounts (that I will call, I promise). When I was checking out, he rushed over to make sure that I could apply my $10 credit without any problems. Kudos to Sergio! Now, as I know that I have two accounts, I am mindful to tell the cashier which one to use, until I can get one eliminated, or get them combined.

Since Saturday and Sunday probably are their biggest shopping days of the week you would think they would care to give Sunday shoppers a good experience at least equal to Saturday shoppers. You pay to get treated like a criminal at Costco. They scan your id on the way in and compare your cart to your receipt on the way out like we are all recovering thieves. Inventory and offerings are inconsistent and unreliable. Try not to grow to like anything too much because odds are it will be gone for weeks or months before you see it again or they will just stop carrying it altogether. Also be prepared to have pushy sales people accost you throughout the store. It seems Costco rents floor space and takes a cut of proceeds every week from different carnival barkers selling some new gadget, cheap jewelry, car remotes, or mobile phone services. They used to have good meats at good prices but it seems good meat deals are harder to find. Clothing offerings are pretty mediocre. They definitely could offer some nicer clothes than they do. They push more and more shelf space away from name brands towards Costco Kirkland brand. They do have decent gas for good prices and good deals on tires and installation. They sell batteries at good prices but don't install them which is something they should offer.
