This is by far the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to and I've used Walgreens most my life for medications. We switched to this store several months ago and I haven't gone once to pick up medications without having major issues. Switching to another location. This location is TERRIBLE. Based on the pharmacy alone, this is one location that should be closed. Horrible customer service. They see you standing at the counter and they continue chatting amongst themselves. They are extremely slow to fill scripts or assist you in any way. They cancel prescriptions without an explanation. You stay on hold forever and then they "accidentally" hang up on you. read more

We have been getting our prescriptions at this location for many years. Two recent incidents led me to the decision to move our prescriptions to another pharmacy. Last month, I was paying for prescriptions when the entire pharmacy shut down their lights, registers and closed the pharmacy gate. I was told to come back in a half hour, when they return from break. Customers are expected to come back later to stand in line AGAIN. A customer Unfriendly approach to ensuring employees are taking breaks. Today, I had just paid at the drive-up window and after grabbing my bunch of stapled bags from the slot, noticed my credit card was not in the tray. I immediately rang the bell and honked for service, but the clerk had just shoved a big sign in the window saying they are closing for 1/2 hour. FYI: The customers in the two vehicles in queue behind me had to be frustrated, too. Note: This Walgreen's signs about this 'group break' are poorly written and misleading. I then had to park, go into the store, find help and explain about my card not being returned. Apparently, they now put your credit card in a small white (banker's cash type) envelope and staple it to the back of the prescription bags along all the various receipts, instructions and ads, I was not told this during the transaction. To top it off, as I exited the store, a call that I made to the store manager from my car (before I gave up and went into the store) was finally picked up her phone. The employees' attitude and tone was probably the best example I have heard of extremely bad customer service. She was actually nasty. Zero customer service skills. The low rating for this particular store is well deserved. Not all employees or policies there are this bad but, come on! Their phone reordering system is consistently bad and promised times for when prescriptions are to be ready are rarely kept. All this equates to poor management and understaffing. 2022 has been crazy already, but I had a GREAT experience at this Walgreens yesterday. I went in to get a vaccine and the pharmacy was POPPIN' - but while it was busy, it was moving along steadily. We came in for my son's vaccine (9 and very nervous about needles). He was being very brave and laid back when we got in. The lady who checked us in was multitasking to help with the volume of guests, but she kept a positive attitude and even took time to chat with my son as she checked us into the system. They have a handy, little waiting area designed for relaxation with a television and a little table with crayons and coloring pages for the kids. When we were up, my son's nerves got a little shaken, but our nurse (Mary) spoke to him directly and assured him it was easy and quick. She handed him a pop-it and he was elated to have something to focus on. She was comforting, quick and personable. She did such a stellar job and I always appreciate folks who keep positive even when it was quite clear that they hadn't had much downtime all day. Thank you for your kindness and your willingness to work through challenges without making your guests feel like cattle. PS: for everyone saying it is overpriced- that's how "Convenience" stores are. The prices are inflated to cover the convenience of location and product alike. I feel like that's just common knowledge and if that is the issue you have with any CVS, Walgreens, etc - Then you have issues with the pricing model of Convenience stores, not the actual location. read more

That's the worst Walgreens ever. No wonder why they have 2 stars. Today I went to ER. I'm having an outer ear infection. Hurts like hell. At the ER they did not have the antibiotic to give me right the wAy. (Drops for my ear) I'm going fast to Walgreens, when this lady is telling she is going to lunch and will be back at 2. But my Prescription is going to be ready at 3. Seriously?????? You see a person in pain... just do your job and give me the antibiotic. Okay. Dropped of my daughter's medication yesterday (has to be an actual prescription for ADHD) and I asked if they had it in stock - the tech says yes and it'll be ready in 1.5 hours. Husband went to pick it up and they say it's out of stock and will let us know when it's in. I'm confused as I asked about it when I dropped it off. Okay, next day it's still not available so I call and am on hold for awhile. Someone finally says that the insurance automatically requests generic so they just let it be and didn't look for named brand. But they found the brand and said it'll be available in 1/2 hour. Go to pick it up and the line is backed up. No movement for 10 minutes so I go through the drive through. The tech at the window is working on someone at the front and checking them out and says she'll be right back. Wait another 5 minutes in the line (my husband rung the bell and the tech unenthusiastically said she'll be right there) and shocking - no one showed up. Poor customer service. I can appreciate being low staffed. But acknowledge the customers and let them know you'll be there as soon as you can. If you don't like your job, quit. Don't make everyone else miserable. I'll attempt to get my daughters prescription tomorrow but do not have high hopes. I usually go to the Walgreens off of Square Barn but they were out of this medication. I have no idea how she got a job in customer service when she is rude and doesn't know how to properly do her job. She had to redo my refund because she didn't do it right the first time, it took extra time almost made me late to work and she didn't even apologize. UPDATE:: Just called to today and got a female getting defensive right away after her to double check on meds that they may have. EVERY TIME they said they were out 3 times before, I got a nice young man telling me would double check and they HAD some so he gave me what they had. I came in here with my 60 memories photos. They not only did it wrong they did them upside down and then they blame me. They did them again and it was even worse all my photos have been messed up by them and they have the audacity to tell me that I'm doing them wrong. the manager she was so nice to me the first time the second time she had an attitude the third time she totally ignored me. Pharmacy is the worst around. DO NOT bring your business here. Wait times are endless. Lines are always long. Service is incredibly slow. SEVERAL times I've received a voicemail/email from the stating 'your prescription is ready to be picked up' only to get there and find the script hasn't been filled at all. They constantly tell me Blue Cross won't cover a particular medicine, but then when I contact BC, they tell me that yes indeed they do cover it. Last visit they told me I'd have to pay $600 out of pocket for my medication, when it's actually covered! They switched my son's pills without notifying me of it. When they run out of medication (which is ALL of the time) it can sometimes take them a week to get it in stock. Who has time to wait a week for their medicine???? This pharmacy is awful. The manager Kevin is rude and disrespectful. He tried arguing with me and I had to call my insurance and he literally Tried refusing to give me my medication. This pharmacy has charged me full price for partial refills, then refused to give me the rest of my medication and try to charge me again full price for the rest. This happened once they gave me 3 out of 9 pills, charged me full price and when I went to get my other 6 they wanted to charge me again (this is when I had the issue with Kevin). This happened again, and last time they did a partial they didn't even tell me, and tried claiming my insurance only covered 6 pills when they covered 9. I had to call my insurance to contact the pharmacy and tell them to give me my medication that I paid for. Last Time they did this I didn't even waste time calling my insurance because it took 3 hours to get solved the first time. This is a joke. They've handed me my Xanax partial prescription for 135 pills (3 months worth) without hesitation but when it came to 3 pills for my headaches they refused. This is literally insane. I called Walgreens corporate as well and they never called me back. I will never step foot into this Walgreens and honestly never any others because I was such a good client and they treated me awful I'm scarred now!! I went for a covid test and waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes just to find out I had to be in the other lane. There was nothing in the confirmation email and no signs anywhere to specify this. The women pharmacists is a told b****, I picked up my medication 2 days before my full month because I am going on vacation and my doctor told me to skip my placebo pills this month. I told the first pharmacist I will pay out of pocket because my insurance won't cover, and then this woman starts telling me my insurance isn't going to cover for my mistake and lecturing me about how I shouldn't be skipping placebo pills and trying to start an argument with me. Are you my doctor? No. I'm not picking up pain killers I'm getting birth control, take the stick out of your a**. This location also isn't open 24 hours anymore. this is a review for the pharmacy. Overall the Walgreens has been great but I have unfortunately spent extra time here over the past year. They have almost always been helpful whether its insurance, medication questions or OTC advice. I have gone here at all hours of the day and they have been able to refer me to what would best help my symptoms. They seem to care or at least be very helpful- either way the end result is that I really trust this Walgreens and know that I can go to them if I have any questions about my medication or if I am sick and not sure what to take! One time they even warned me about an OTC that I was going to buy that might make a health issue I have worse (I had just paid for my medication for the issue), which I thought was going above and beyond. so bravo for LITH walgreens pharmacy. read more

I've twice attempted to simply drop off a prescription at this location to pick up later; both times after 9pm. Last night there were 8 cars in the drive through and after waiting 10 minutes with no movement, I pulled around and went in to find 6 people in line at the counter. I decided to wait another 10 minutes to see what happened. In that time only 1 person was served and 3 more joined the line behind me. I can't comment on the customer service here because I've never experienced it. Both this time and the last I gave up and went elsewhere the next day. This location is woefully understaffed and inefficiently run. I agree with all the other comments here. Avoid this location.
