One of Provincetown's claims to fame is that they don't have a lot of chains...you won't find a Dunkin or a McDonalds, but they do have CVS, and I kind of enjoy that. I always go here at least twice while I'm here for my annual week and I like it because we have a lot of CVS rewards points and coupons so I can use them when I buy stuff here and that helps make it affordable. Whatever you need, you can find here. They have a good travel size section as well so if you don't want to buy a huge can of shaving cream, you're in luck. There are cashiers and they also have two self checkouts so you can get in and out pretty quickly. read more

This CVS has a small footprint (real estate in Provincetown is really a premium asset), but it does have all the basics that people need in a drugstore. They have bike parking, self scanning checkout registers, seasonal items, card section, snacks, etc. The space is a bit tight, but all the departments are well labelled, so you can find what you need fairly quickly. There's car parking on the side and the back of the store. read more

Jay (I hope I got his name) from the pharmacy was one of the kindest and most helpful pharmacy technicians I've met. He helped with a complicated order and was so efficient. When I came back the next day he remembered me and got the order processed quickly. It was a great experience and I am grateful for this store and his help. read more

I'll admit I had mixed feelings about a chain-store coming to town, but I'm happy to say it's been a plus--even the exterior design and landscaping are improvements. The pharmacy staff is super friendly and helpful. And getting a booster shot here was easily scheduled on their website and administered hassle-free. read more

I know this CVS has been a controversial add to Provincetown but my first impression was very positive. There is an easy to find layout and the store is so new that it smells like recently installed carpeting. A friend of ours was not feeling well yesterday so we needed to take a couple of trips to the pharmacy for him. The items that he needed were available and, again...easy to find. They had a table set up near the entrance with free coffee and water for visitors. Nice touch. read more

This review is specifically for Lucy and Tyler in the pharmacy. They are both wonderful with customers. I get that CVS in general is probably tough to work for with the additional demands they keep placing on their employees. But they don't let it show. Lucy, especially, gets to know the regulars and whenever I have had a problem, she goes the extra mile to address. Tyler is always upbeat and quick to take care of things. CVS - do right by these two because they really redeem your reputation, for me anyway. read more

Needed some eye care product as my boyfriends eye was super irritated so we stopped in here . We weren't sure what To buy as usually he's get prescriptions for his eye. But decided to ask the pharmacist for help which she was super helpful and very nice . Once we got the isle it was hard tk find all the ones she recommended but the worker in the isle helped us out. It's so nice when the staff go above and beyond and helps us find what we need. Definitely a good experience at this cvs . read more

I understand when a "big box" store moves in and other (small/independent) business feel squeezed, and while I try to stick with the smaller ones, sometimes a major pharmacy IS needed. My prescription was in Boston, I was in Truro and had no way to pick up what I needed without going to CVS. Both pharmacists were terrific (my aunt was also in need of having something transferred there) and they are really busy in there not only with people in the store but the phones ringing as well. There are 8-9 parking spaces (yay!) and a big bowl of water at the front door for your best four-pawed friend. Walking through the store to the pharmacy, I was asked by two employees if I needed help with anything, which was great and surprising; I am used to wandering around stores and never being able to find anyone! read more

July 2019, came here to pick up Sunscreen and odds-and-ends, this is a very clear store. But then again it is a brand new store, just hope they keep up with keeping it clean. They have. Little bit of everything inside even P-Town Sovereigns. read more

Parking is a nightmare. Only a handful of spaces, usually full. Go to Stop & Shop instead and save yourself the hassle.
