The store inside does look like they remodeled recently, but the lack of... Well, anything, shows theft is a pretty high contender for this place. Amazing experience at the pharmacy today. I haven't used this pharmacy in a few years but I am going to start using them again. I didn't get his name, but the pharmacist was amazing. He went out of his way to help me figure out my insurance. He called my old pharmacy to get my info, then called my insurance, and figured out everything I needed. It was nice to have someone work FOR me instead of making me do all the work. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. read more

These guys have always been phenomenal! These guys aren't my normal Walgreens pharmacy, but this location is my go-to when my normal Walgreens pharmacy doesn't have my meds. The pharmacist and all the techs have always been phenomenal to work with, and they always get my stuff done quickly. I see all the bad reviews on here, and I can bet most of them are people who didn't get their way, they had an insurance issue that wasn't Walgreens fault, or they are just bitter people. I have learned that if you are kind and generous to a business like this, they will go out of their way to take care of the customers who are kind to them! Not worth it. I stopped by after surgery to get meds. Went thru drive thru said to wait 10 mins. Waited 10 minutes and got stuck in drive thru for another 20. Still weren't ready. Decided to walk in and wait. They're telling everyone they're short staffed but I think the ladies are just taking their time flirting. Since I was in and finally got my meds. I stopped to get some neccos and Reese peanut butter cups. Comfort food, right? The cashier was pissy I had to bother her. Really yall? I walked around your store with a busted up face and a foam block on the wrist I got from the surgery I just had done. Don't ever send a FedEx package to this Walgreens. They have no organization system in place and packages are just thrown all over the floor, on shelves and other random places behind their "security area" aka the photo area. I went to get my package around 6:30pm (fedex said it was delivered around 2:45pm) and they said they didn't have it and that I have to take it up with fedex, since they are not fedex (ummm you are a fedex hub so you have some responsibility for packages...). I had one woman walk away from me stating she couldn't help me, and the other woman (Stacy) was extremely rude to me and told me that they don't have my package, then proceeded to laugh at me when I was visibly upset. I told her that their store sucks and I will never go there again! It was ridiculous how I was treated, especially when I called fedex who confirmed that the package was delivered to them. Fedex is now sending out a case manager to their location determine what happened. This is ridiculous and I should have just had the package delivered to my house. Never never never will go here again! What a joke this store is. read more

Almost every time I order something online from this store and put in all the payment info and get the email saying they received the order, I then later get this message: We're unable to complete your order at this time and it has been canceled Why can't they correctly show the items they have in stock? I'd give this particular location a 0 if it was an option. This Walgreens pharmacy opens late, closes early, doesn't stick to the posted lunch hours. They message you to pick up your drugs, but then they're not ready. Or only one of several is ready. Sometimes it literally takes days to get a script filled. You nearly always wait in line for 20+ minutes, to find they don't have it ready. It is the worst pharmacy ever! Safeway directly across the street is infinitely nicer and more punctual. read more

Called this Walgreens for help with transferring a prescription. They told me to call the other pharmacy and have them transfer it. The other pharmacy tells me that the new pharmacy has to request the transfer and Walgreens knows this. I call Walgreens right back and am out on hold for 45min. I hung up and called CVS and got help in 5min. I'll never do business with the pharmacy again. read more

Walgreens customer facing service is extremely poor. I tried to set up a Covid vaccine and when I went to the website COVID-19 vaccinations weren't even listed. I went to the link on the website that said you could register for online vaccinations and it went nowhere. I tried to call the store at 8:30 AM in the morning and the telephone system said three people were waiting in line in front of me. I waited 40 minutes and nobody answered the phone. When I went to the store today they said nobody was answering the phone because they didn't have a pharmacist. But the phone system continued to give me the idea that somebody was going to answer the phone. So the people at the store wouldn't set up an appointment and said I had to call 1- 800. What a horrible experience with this company. read more

Don't waste your time coming to the drive thru pharmacy here. They're on their schedule. Your needs be damned. There are 3-4 people working in there that I can see. I don't ring the bell because I don't want to be a bother like that. Waited at least 5 minutes before I rang the bell. I think pharmaceutical companies should start targeting pharmacists as potential prescriptions: "Are you sick, stressed and overworked? Do you usually feel like you want to stab yourself in the face because your pharmacy degree has lead to shitty hours at your local Walgreens? Xanax may be able to help. Just because you compound our product for other patients doesn't mean you can't benefit from it, too." Who would've known the people giving you the narcotics might need them more than you? I walked up to the pharmacy and waited in line for about 26 minutes. Meanwhile, two pharm techs are standing around doing absolutely nothing (maybe they downed all the good stuff already?) while the one at the front is running around like a headless chicken. To the counter, to the back, to the drive-thru window, to the counter, to the drive-thru window, to the back. This continued on for a good half hour. Every time someone new got in line, a new bead of sweat dribbled off his forehead. An ice age later, I finally made it to the front. I gave him my name and information, pulling my credit card out to pay. But I didn't get my stuff that day because he broke down. Yes, a spectacular manic episode for all Walgreens' patrons to see. He looked at the main pharmacist and shrieked, "I CAN'T STAND THIS ANYMORE! I'M GOING TO QUIT RIGHT NOW! MAKE THESE PEOPLE GO AWAY!!!!!!" So I said I'd come back later. This is the WORST Walgreens I've ever been to. Normally, Walgreens is great, I've used them my whole life. But this particular store is absolutely terrible with their pharmacy. It doesn't matter how many people are in front of you in line, you will be waiting 20+ minutes so don't try and go during a work break. Several times, we have been notified our prescription is ready, only to get there and they tell us it is not. I have gone back 2-3 times for every medication I have to pick up. It's exhausting and a waste of time and I recommend driving farther for your pharmacy because this is not worth it to go here. read more

Mike in the pharmacy is amazing. When we had to fill prescriptions for my grandpa after his visit to the ER, he took the time to notice that one of the prescriptions didn't really fit what my grandpa's issue was. He encouraged us to call the hospital to make sure it was correct. He ended up talking to the ER doctor and getting a different prescription authorized for us. He then called my grandparents while we were en route to the pharmacy to explain what was going on. He is the most helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly pharmacist I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but this is not an option! I have had problems with their pharmacy staff on two separate occassions. First, they were "confused" because my daughter was not listed on my prescription benefits card, and they tried to tell me I would have to return to the store in a snowstorm after they called the insurance company. I refused. I called the insurance company myself and had the information they needed in 4 minutes, when I walked to the counter to hand over the phone so they could speak with the insurance company, they snootily said, "oh it's already been taken care of..." So why would they have told me I would have to come back to the store if it could be handled so quickly???? I took the online survey to complain and did receive a call back from the assistant store manager 2 days later, however, he was neither helpful nor apologetic. Second time was 2 days ago. My husband was picking up 2 prescriptions that had been called in over 3 hours prior to his arrival at the store. The prescriptions were not ready. After he waited 20 minutes, they paged him over the overhead...although he was the only customer sitting in the pharmacy waiting area, and then asked him what they could help him with when he came to the counter. They then did not apply our insurance to the cost of the prescriptions because the pharmacist was "confused on how to do this," however advised him to return to the store within 7 days to get the price adjusted. When my husband returned home, I was furious. I called the insurance company and got the information needed in less than 10 minutes. My husband had to return to the store the next day to have the price adjusted on the prescriptions from a total of $79 down to $16!!!! This staff is unwilling to help customers. Any person with common sense displays more problem solving ability than their staff! DO NOT GO HERE!! GO TO ANY OTHER PHARMACY, AND I AM SURE YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE! read more

I continue to be disappointed by some (not all) of the pharmacy techs at this location. Employees who smell of marijuana and look like they rolled out of bed (unkept hair and terrible hygiene), not to mention being rude to the customers. I am surprised at some of the employees they have working in a customer service role not to mention in a pharmacy when they can't look you in the eye or even be plesant when they are assisting. It is a shame because the two Pharmacists/Pharmacy Managers who have been there for quite sometime are quite plesant and helpful. read more

I (and another family member) have been a loyal customers of this store for 8+ years. Yesterday (9/13/14), I stopped by to ask some simple questions regarding a recent illness I have come down with at the Healthcare Clinic. This woman was anything but polite to me as I sat in her office. During my short visit, she 100% refused to look in my direction as I sat directly in front of her, spoke over me with a CONDESCENDING tone, interrupted me repeatedly during each sentence I spoke, and gave the feeling she was purely agitated with my presence. I left there feeling like a Jerk and will NEVER SPEND A DIME IN THIS STORE AGAIN!!!!!!! How dare this woman (especially someone in her profession) treat someone in this manner. Thank God I did not pay for this treatment and If I did I would have demanded my money back. If I acted anywhere near her demeanor in my workplace, A VP would call me into his/her office in a heartbeat. read more

I had a sinus infection and couldn't get in to see the 2 doctors I normally would go to. I decided to try the urgent care clinic at Walgreens at Kipling and Jewell. I was able to make an appointment online. I have to say it was one of the most professional medical visits I've ever had. The ladies there were wonderful. Very caring and thorough. My prescription and the other items I needed were all right there for me to get after my exam. They did not rush me through or keep me waiting forever like often happens at the doctor's office. I would recommend this clinic at this store to anyone needing the services they offer. read more

I have been going to this pharmacist for years it was great at first. But just to pick up a prescription that has already been dropped off it takes about 30 minutes to even get to the window and half the time the prescriptions not even ready when they say it will be. It's very frustrating. If they're busy they should hire more people that know what they are doing. You have one person telling you could pick up a prescription one day and then another one telling you a different day. Mike the pharmacist tries to be nice in a smartass kind of way. This is a review for the clinic and pharmacy. I came for my first visit 3 weeks ago. I was declined for an appointment because they had scheduled to many people and was told to come back later in the day, I did because I was so sick. It was the doctors first day and she had no idea how to do anything. She prescribed me medicine that hasn't worked because I ended up going BACK again today for the same illness as three weeks ago. WHY DID I GO BACK. All of the staff was new and in training again. At least I was seen right away this time. Then the "Doctor" said "we literally can't help you, you've been on antibiotics already." and shrugged her shoulders. Then she looked in my ears and throat and said everything looked fine. (Went to urgent care after this and they said I was extremely red and inflamed in my ears, throat and nose.) mmmmkkk... And the other person training said I looked mad....hmmmm yeah little frustrating and just thinking if I had to pay out of pocket! Also, other doctor was pretty rough when it came "checking me out" They don't have any supplies or equipment to help if you need tests ect. Thank god I had Medicaid or else I would have just spent $80 for her to tell me that she can't help. When you're already sick you don't want to be dealing with this ontop of it! Save yourself and go somewhere else! Also, the pharmacy staff is always sooo rude and never want to talk or help you. I went into this clinic vs my usual doctor because they had a faster availability. My symptoms were simple: Lung pain, forceful cough, sneezing, sinus pressure, chills, pain in my right ear and vomit. I was first told that I could not be treated because I had too many symptoms and she proceeded to argue with me about a simple treatment of amoxicillin because she was convinced I had heart burn and an upset stomach over something that I ate. After forty minutes of random tests such as influenza and a conversation about a blood clot I could potentially have since I had chest pain, she finally agreed to an antibiotic and a nasal treatment. Funny thing is, she never submitted the prescription to the pharmacy so they wouldn't release the antibiotics. Having to wait another twos weeks for my next paycheck, when I was able to see an ACTUAL DOCTOR, I was diagnosed with pneumonia! Imagine that. Save your money people and go to a real doctor. read more

Cannot even begin to relate how frustrating the "service" is at this Walgreens pharmacy. Over two hours after our doctor's office called in a prescription, they hadn't even picked up the voicemail yet - too busy for customer service. Once I arrived and inquired about it, they pulled it and put "waiting" on it, to indicate that I was waiting in the store. They would supposedly begin working on it promptly. I was told it would take 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, I inquired AGAIN. Turns out they didn't have the medicine I needed in the store - as in, they were physically not capable of filling it there. AND they were trying to make time to call other stores, but hadn't gotten to that yet. All while I was "waiting." I wonder how long they would have let me just sit there - 3 more hours?? DEFINITELY won't be using this Walgreens again. Might not use ANY Walgreens. Only go here if you're desperate and don't have a choice, which, thankfully, I don't think applies to ANYONE.
