Don't come here if you're a diabetic to get your insulin filled. The staff will just make changes to your prescription to try and force you to ration insulin. Someone is going to die due to this pharmacy's incompetence. This has happened over and over with my wife at this store... Hopefully the store or district manager will do something this time.... I've called several times to file complaints. Yet they never seem to be taken seriously. This is directly for the pharmacy. I've never had issues here so I'm baffled to say the least. I pick up new medication & they asked if I had questions for the pharmacist. I said yes because I've never used these before. Instead of doing that He walked over to her, seemed super annoyed that I had questions anyways... but oddly enough The tech & the pharmacist lady seemed to have a spat??? & he came back & asked a verification question Totally disregarding that I've stated I had questions & gave me my medication & had such a shit attitude. I would give this pharmacy a zero but that wasn't an option. They have a new manager named Keri ( she's been there only two weeks.) I called yesterday at noon to refil my medication needed for nighttime, the gentleman informed me it would be ready in a couple of hours. The day was busy and I realized at 6 pm I needed to call.... again. I was told the new pharmacy manager would not fill two drugs in the same drug class even though they are entirely for two different conditions?? The pharmacy manager had this prescription of mine for a week without calling to inform me of " her" new rule. I have used this pharmacy for over two years and it's always a nightmare. None of my medications are new, neither is my doctor. When I called at 6 pm the pharmacist on duty told me she couldn't do anything to get my evening medication to me and I would have to wait until the morning. My doctors office was already closed. Had this new manager contacted her patient I would have contacted my doctor and had my rx sent to a different pharmacy. This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever used in my lifetime of needing prescriptions. I have contacted customer care and I intend to call the cooperative office as well as my insurance company to let them know I was denied my medication without being told until it was too late to contact my doctor. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever gone to! They hold your medications without permission even when you have a valid prescription written by a Medical Doctor. My meds are constantly out of stock even though I order the same ones every month. They are rude on the phone and even ruder in person. I normally use this reviews for positive feedback bc i know yelp is used mostly for the negative gripes, you can check my review history to see. So this is definitely an issue for me to spread negative news on a business. However, this is the second time I've used this Walgreens to fill my rx and prepay via the website so I can get the fast pass QR for the express pickup on-site and by pass any long line ... well except for this location. Anytime there is a long line (when I've gone 8 people +) and plenty workers in back (I've counted 3 tecihs along w the 2 pharmacists) and go up to scan my code and quickly pick up my rx, i get told very rudely that i need To go back to the long line and there only servicing one line, regardless of quick code or not... then why have the signage in store or offer it on line?? I believe bc as a store franchise, it's suppose to be honored. However these lazy staff can't scan a code , look up last name and walk 5 more steps to honor it. Which is exactly how fast the quick code works at comprehensive locations. Which in turn would probably cut down on the long lines. The only time they have scanned it is when there as no one in line, which makes it unnecessary to even have. If you're sick, achey, I'm a hurry, and usually proactive on your time... don't bother to take initiative to prepay for your code ... this location is a mess. Definitely switching pharmacies. Small but a very inconvenient and annoying experience both times. read more

I shop at this location all the time because I love Walgreens however this location is declining in customer service. I come in to buy items that are on sale , nowhere in the ad or on store display does it state a limit yet the manager says limit 4. When I questioned why if it's not posted anywhere and the answer I was given was because it's our store policy. I once again bring up that nowhere is it posted that there is a limit and the manager tell me I'm being told to only limit 4 and as a store we can limit what we want. I asked or them to put a sign up because you can't just bait and switch as you chose. Well still no sign is posted. This issue keeps happening over and over again. Managers are choosing to put limits on items or choosing to say that sale price isn't correct because they don't like a certain price that an item may either be posted at or rung up at. These issues are also happening with coupons. This Walgreens will only honor some coupons. It's bad for customer service. read more

Whenever I pick up my prescription in this pharmacy, there is always an issue. It is not just one time. There are times when I call for refill then the next day you pick, they are not available so it's either you wait for another half hour or so to get it refilled or come back the next day. I really wish I could leave a good review. The store is clean, always stocked. But the drive through/ pharmacy in general is always a nightmare! I always dread having to pick up my prescriptions from here. I'll be told they're ready at 11 AM. I come by at 2:30 PM. Wait in the hour long drive thru, just to be told it's not ready and I have to wait in the same line AGAIN. So infuriating, and a whole day wasted when I go to pick up my prescriptions. It's been this way for years though, and it doesn't seem like there's going to be change anytime soon. read more

Every time I call it's a 20 minute wait and when I finally get through to a pharmacist they are completely clueless. If you're trying to drive thru plan on being here for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. It seems that their computer is always "Crashing" They also can never get my meds on time, even the most simple things. Asking for help while shopping in store is a no-go these people will either ignore you or tell you they don't have the item then you look for it and end up finding it yourself. I have REPEATED problems having my prescriptions filled at this location. Classic example was tonight....I was on hold for 22 minutes, there were "two calls ahead of you" and of course "your business is important to us". Then when David came on the phone, once again, Walgreens did NOT have any note of medications that were "0wed" to me from 11/08/2016, and not even THAT, there is no record of my even purchasing my medication on that day. OH, but he can see that Ian closed out the prescription with the RX number that matches the name of the medication and that was on the DATE I purchased my prescription that was 30 tabs short. So, I have to go in, pay my co-pay AGAIN, to get a FULL prescription of 60 tabs and come in personally to discuss the other issue with the manager because of course there is nothing David can do. It's SCARY doing business with this pharmacy at this location. I have been having this same issue since June 2016!! They have been making me pay a co-pay every 15 days for a prescription that was played through my insurance for 60 tabs 30 day prescription. Does a NEW MD order and APPROVAL from the insurance company NOT supersede a previous prescription of the same drug?? Why do I continue to use this Walgreens?? Because it's down the street from me. The owner of this Walgreens and the FDA need to seriously check into the practices of this pharmacy. I even spent half an hour on the phone with the manager in October when I was FINALLY given the CORRECT amount of medication and she assured me that the correction has been made in their system and I will no longer be running into this issue - only to run into the same issue a month later!! read more

If you've ever found yourself in Vegas from out of town, you know the water doesn't taste very good. This was a quick and easy place to stop and stock up on some essentials without having to battle the crowds found by the strip. Prices were about what you'd find at a convenient store, but when shopping here you know you are getting what you pay for. A very short line, easy to find items and a cashier that is at least able to feign liking their job. The cashier was much more friendly than you would get in a big box store. We didn't use any pharmacy services on this visit so we cannot comment there. read more

I have been doing business with Walgreens for a long time. I have long standing prescriptions I fill every month. For years. I have recently changed insurance, and only this one prescription is taking longer than usual. Last night I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist told me he would give me a few pills until the verification comes through. Today I go to pick them up and the lady pharmacist says no. I tell them that I am incredibly dizzy without them. And that I talked to my doctor today, he is putting in an expedited request. I ended up buying the couple to hold me over. The parking lot is quite literally a death trap but otherwise I generally really like this location. I am dangerous like that. They are usually pretty good about not destroying your prescription, which is neat. I'm not a fan of the line that is a semi-permanent fixture in their pharmacy, but I've seen it not be busy. They don't keep Sudafed behind the counter anymore, so if the pharmacy is closed I guess you will just have to kill yourself with cigarettes. I mean really, does it require a masters degree in pharmaceutical science to take an ID? I accept that when I purchase Sudafed I am going to be treated like a narcotrafficer. I try to pretend I'm an awesome mafioso, but I'm actually just an allergy ridden loser whose sinuses are exploding her head. I don't appreciate the corporate fool who decided that Sudaphed should not be available in the store at all. I like the convenience of this location especially for my prescriptions. The pharmacy staff is always friendly and very helpful. Sometimes the parking lot is a bit much as some people really have no care as to how they park and essentially make a parking spot unavailable because they can't manage to stay Inside the parking lines. I love my loyalty card as sometimes I get a few bucks off my purchases. It all added up and I like savings. read more

I like how close this Walgreens is to my house! Great for early morning runs and late ones too! The cashiers are great! Always very helpful! This store is always clean. My only problem with this store is it always is bad at restocking sold out merchandise or re-ordering. I hate going to the grocery store because it's always a madhouse so I avoid it at all cost. So when I am able to purchase them at walgreens it's awesome... If they haven't sold out. It has happened more than a couple of times. So I can understand a time or two but not always. The parking is awful!!!! People waiting for parking spaces, pedestrians wanting to cross, blind spots! Awful design! The pharmacy needs major work! The Pharmacy is horrible, Customer service of multiple employees is terrible. Jasmin does not take patients care serious and rather argue with a father of a 9 year old who has seizures daily due to their incompitance of not following up having correct amount of medications available even though they are on auto refill. Oh and their communication with doctor is lacking too. This is not the first time either, it has happened 4 times now. I have talked to store managers and nothing is done. Unacceptably long time to fill an antibiotic. I was told it would take 1-2 hours to fill a 5 day antibiotic prescription. Why it takes 2 hours to fill 10 pills of a common antibiotic is beyond me. They offered to text when it was available. 2.5 hours later I am still waiting and they are "just now working on it". Completely unacceptable. I will not be back. I wish I had read other reviews of the pharmacy before leaving my prescription here. Don't bother with this place. read more

So I don't know if it's just that this location is overwhelmed if if Walgreens just sucks in general, but the pharmacy here is a nightmare. I've had drama with every prescription refill for the last 6 months and yesterday just took the cake. Had two refills put in on the 27th. One required doctors approval and Walgreens showed it was submitted, the other was normal. 5 days later both are still in process when I get a notification to call the pharmacy, 20 min on hold and they just hang up on me... that would anger me enough on a normal day, but it gets better! So I call my doctors office to check and mention the delayed prescription requiring the approval and as they pull up my records they tell me Walgreens never submitted the request. If they are too lazy to submit a refill request and just pencil whip the check list, how can I trust them to handle my medications safely? I'm transferring everything to CVS. read more

Walgreen's farm in Durango do not go to the drive-through it is the worst I've ever been to every time I come there's an issue There's a cranky old pharmacist that can't be bothered with anyone I was dropping my dogs prescription off they told me 30 minutes I came back they told me it wasn't ready to get back in line for another 20 minutes got back in line again only to find out it still hasn't been filled got in line at 8:03 it is now 945 and I still do not have his medicine this is absolutely atrocious for a pharmacy to handle a customer like this that I go to this every month and they try to put my dogs medicine through my insurance every time my health insurance which is absolute ridiculous still sitting in line waiting for my dogs medicine I guess they thought because it was for a dog it wasn't as important even though my dog can't breathe without his medicine So if you have any prescriptions don't take it to this pharmacy or you will be waiting two hours also every time I come to this pharmacy I have the same issues This will be my last I will drive 30 minutes to go to the Walgreens pharmacy on West Cheyenne where I never have a problem in any everyone is so pleasant even though it's for my dog !! read more

I ordered about 20 photos and 2 wooden prints. The day they were suppose to be ready I went in and the employee said "oh I'm sorry I was just about to call you to tell you your prints weren't ready" after it looked like she was talking a storm to her friend on the phone. Mind you, I showed up 20 minutes after they were scheduled so I didn't have to rush anyone. Poor communication and a waste of time because I had to go back a second time for my wooden prints. Got in the pharmacy drive thru line at 8:45pm. About 5 cars in front of me. Thinking since I was in line in enough time I'd be helped. I got to the front at 9:02. They shut it down, closed up and didn't say anything to me. Seriously? I know it a couple minutes after 9 but can you tell that if I had been standing in line inside that you would have shut it on my face? I seriously doubt it but it's ok to do it because you don't have to face me? And if this is the rule there should be something stating this is their policy. I plan on moving my prescriptions away from Walgreens altogether now. Not that they will care since it's clear they don't really care about their customers. And my son was completely out of his meds because it took extra days to fill. Which I thought was going to be fine. I tried to go during my lunch as well but I wouldn't have made it back in time because the lines inside and out were crazy. As far as a convenience store, great but if you have no insurance do not get your Rx filled here or any Walgreen's. When I had insurance I paid $40 for a three month supply of a generic Rx. I figured maybe I would pay $25-30 for a one month supply of a generic. It came to $100!!!!!!! I questioned them in shock and they kindly reduced it $80. I told them what I had paid in the past. I told them it was generic, not time released or anything. Had I not let it run down to the last two days of medication left, I would have driven away. I went to Costco and had the same Rx filled for 18.92. There is no reason for them to mark it up that high......... read more

If I could leave this Walgreens starless I would! I went to the drive thru and arrived with 5 cars in front of me at 7:10. First car took about 15 minutes, then slowly but surely the line was moving. I picked up medicine for boyfriend who just had tooth surgery. When I get to the window, I give him name. Says there is nothing on file. I give out Home number, cell phone and give spelling of first and last name. He again proceeds to get frustrated and said there is nothing on file, then says I will even print you something to prove it to you. He comes back and slaps the paper against the window and says see there is nothing here! Looking at me like I'm crazy! Btw his name is Daniel. So I tell him, I will be very upset if I get home and my boyfriend who is resting and tells me that he dropped it off at this location and they don't have it considering I have been in the drive thru line for 38 minutes! Suddenly, a light bulb hits Daniel and He said let me check the bins.... and magically Daniel realizes that they forgot to scan in the order that was dropped off. He tells me to come in the store because they have to fill it and I said I can wait until they fill. Mind you it was 600 mg ibuprofen! Fill the damn bottle so I can be on my way. Manager then says I need to move and wait for prescription without even apologizing for the inconvenience. And why the hell does it take 20 minutes to put ibuprofen in the damn bag?!!!! I go and run to pick up chicken soup and proceed back to Walgreens. Park this time and go in. Line is 8 people deep. Daniel sees me and makes contact then looks down and pretends to ignore me. I walk to consultation and talk to David and says your prescription is ready and you can stand in line. At that point, I got even more irritated and said, your team messed up on the prescription, you made me wait almost 40 minutes in the drive thru and now you want me to wait in that line?!!!! He then realizes.... what I said and said, I will ring you up after I take care of this customer. Never again I will have our family go into this Walgreens. Learn some customer service skills and don't make your customers like were the crazy ones when it's your staff that needs to handle their jobs! Blonde pharmacy male supervisor, learn some customer service skills and empathy for a customer that didn't deserve your inexcusable attitude. Lost my business to CVS. read more
