I cam from urgent care to pick up my much urgent / needed prescription at this location for the first time , but my experience was unfortunately anything but pleasant. I had heard bad stories about the pharmacy but I thought I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since I was never there myself personally to judge. Upon arrival in the pharmacy there was one person in front of me for drop off, I waited a bit but then I sat down since I was not feeling well but I thought the clerk or pharmacy tech since we made eye contact would know I am next but someone came in line and she didn't even bother asking if I was next or if I needed anything, that was the first initial bad customer service encounter I go back to pick up my medication 1 hour later and I didn't make a big deal about the first encounter and I waited in line this time to make sure they know I was next. Apparently Walgreens registers up front had issues which is understandable, things happen, however, The manager or the assistant manager of the store (not sure about her title) goes ahead and bring customers to the pharmacy register to pay for their items ( one customer was buying cigarettes etc) again in front of me, even though I was there before them without any sort of explanation about what is even going on. That was the second bad experience in the same day Now here is the main issue with me, everyone else can judge for themselves..so apparently it is more important for customers to get their cigarettes before customers That are there to pick up their prescription at the PHARMACY COUNTER!!! Just unbelievable to me. I had a talk with the manager respectfully and her response was we are not just a pharmacy and we are sorry but other customers need to pay for their items as well since front registers are not working. I guess it is more important to Walgreens that they don't lose 1 hour of profit than people that are actually there to pick up their much needed prescription. I suppose someone could have an emergency hypertensive crisis , panic attack, serious asthma attack, but guess what that's not a concern to them since it is more important that somebody gets their cigarettes before some body gets their medicine. I am personally going to CVS next time, I guess there is a reason CVS stopped selling tobacco product, They might care about their customers a bit more after all read more

This review is really for the Walgreens Pharmacy. I tried calling tonight and was on hold over 13 minutes. Someone would pick up then instantly put it on hold over and over again. I finally called from a second phone and waited 5 min until someone picked up and I was able to hang up on the other phone. There's nothing more frustrating than being on hold forever. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever endured, I feel like it's a pattern. I called before hand and informed them I had a flight leaving and I really needed my medications. It's 7pm and a rude cashier went to go help the struggling pharmacy who treated me with nothing but disrespect, telling me it would take 30 minutes for my medications to be filled?! I'm not even sure if he was certified to even be behind the counter and I trusted him with my information. What a joke, why did the staff lie to me on the phone??? Now I'm stuck in my car going to be late for my flight due to the poor training of this facilty. So ridiculous. I would go to CVS but this pharmacy is the only one that carries the medications since there is a shortage throughout the US... First the terrible Walgreens on flamingo and Maryland... This review is just for the pharmacy. I've been coming here for almost 2 years now and I have to say that the guest service has gone down the drain. For example I went to pick up a prescription because I was sick and I told them that I would wait for it. So after 40 minutes I finally go back to the window and no apology....the guy just tells me. "The pharmacist called u." Really? When? I was sitting in the chairs the whole time waiting for my name to be called. But seriously? no apology? And way to go....blame the customer. Geez thanks. So not only do I have the flu but apparently I'm deaf too. So what did she do? whisper my name or call when a lady was crying because she was getting her flu shot? And didn't bother repeating herself? Really? Wasted 40 minutes wishing I was home and in bed just because they couldn't waste their time calling my name. Just because they couldn't take the extra few minutes to make sure that I got my meds on time. Thanks a lot pharmacy staff...yeah for wasting time that I did NOT have today. read more

Me and my girlfriend come in here to grab a toy for my baby brother and everything is going well. We go to checkout and wait behind this guy and decided to get candy, so we are waiting and and this other lady goes into the other line to check HER stuff out. And after the man was done with his items we expect to go and ring our stuff out. But this very rude cashier calls the other lady that went in line AFTER us to ring her out. And after the lady said "I thought they were in line" and the cashier said, "actually the line starts here" and point where we were waiting THE WHOLE TIME! So me and my girlfriend go to the other line. I told the other lady we were waiting and the cashier was being rude. Absolutely disappointed in the staff. The lady that rung us out was nice however. I've been having my prescriptions sent to this Walgreens for years but not anymore. The pharmacy manager named Melanie or Mel is by far the rudest woman I've ever encountered in my 5 years of service with them. She treated me like I was a burden and has the worst people skills out of anyone I've met that works in customer service. There is always some sort of problem any time I deal with her. I hope she doesn't treat her elderly or disabled customers the way she treated me. She was disrespectful, rude and confrontational. If I could give less stars than 0, I would. We all make mistakes but they seem to make too many to forgive and their customer service is poor, specifically a lady basically told me my dr wasn't in practice anymore and I should look for a new one. Called my dr office following day well my dr is still in practice and had to go back to get my medicine, she's rude and wasted my day. It's Walgreens, so there's not much to review. They have a pharmacy, which I don't use so I can't review. There is a redbox outside, so that's cool. If you are a crazy coupon person, you can save a ton of money buying here with their in-ad specials... Keep your eyes peeled for their red shelf labels, those items are discontinued and usually you can get some good deals. Typically I come here when we are in a rush to get something - birthday card, case of beer, ibuprofen, allergy medicine - and it's convenient because it's on my way home from work. I've never received such horrible & unprofessional service until my experience today with the Walgreens Pharmacy. I called on 5/26 & a gentleman at the pharmacy confirmed receiving my dog's prescription (my dog has trouble breathing) however the medication will not be at the store until Tuesday 5/30. By that date, I have not received a text about the Rx but gave it a few more days. I called back on Saturday 6/3 & that's where it all started. Maria picked up the phone & I told her the situation. She said "we just received the Rx yesterday". Well that was either a blatant lie or she's just that incompetent that she can't even read dates correctly. Then she starts giving me an attitude as if I'm the one lying. By then, I'm frustrated. I then asked her to call the other Walgreens to see if they have it. She then says "okay" & hangs up on me. I called back & Daniella picks up. She puts me on hold & helped me resolve the issue & clarified everything for me. Thank you, Daniella. Maria could've done the same but instead was incompetent & rude the whole time. She obviously did not make any effort to help me with my issue & instead of being professional about it, hung up on me. I also sent a complaint to their corporate office about Maria. Im pretty understanding & was okay with them not having my dogs Rx. SHe was trying to looking for my package .. then she ask a black gentleman to help her find it and the first thing he do is say your package is not here and fedex is not here without even bother to look for .. The Pharmacist asked for my insurance info and when I said I have Tricare she quickly said " Walgreens does not accept Tricare". This is the insurance for both active and retired Military. They don't accept Tricare! Well that will be the last time I ever go into a Walgreens. If I could give this location ZERO stars, then I would. I am beyond upset with the way the employees treated me. I went in to buy some Easter candy. There were no signs up at all. I asked the lady at the cashier to check the price for me. She did not seem like she knew what she was doing all at. ONE, she did not read description for the AD or the coupon. She just kept trying to scan the items and the coupon. She took 20 mins to check the price that didn't even come out right then she finally called the manager. The manager was also beyond rude. His reason for having NO SIGNS up for the sale, "We just opened." Well, my question is, "Shouldn't you be prepared for your customers with questions and the correct price when you first open?" How is that even a valid excuse for your store not being prepared??? The manager also told me that an item I wanted to purchase wasn't apart of the sale when the description of the item clearly met the description of the ad. He told me that the items just weren't apart of the sale. Well, how do you know? You're not even prepared. Almost all the candy is expired also! I wonder what else is expired in this store. The manager told me that he doesn't even look at that all. So, you don't look at the expiration dates for the items in your stores? You don't ask your employees to check the expiration dates? I wasted 20 minutes at the store but I still didn't find the items listed on the ad. The manager told me he would help me find the ones that are apart of the sale but since he doesn't know what's apart of the sale how much longer would it take for him to find out?? Should I stay at the store for 1-2 hours to wait for him to find out?! I am even more upset that I asked the cashier for a coupon that was in the machine and SHE SAID NO IN A VERY RUDE MANNER then SHE RIPPED THE COUPON IN FRONT OF MY FACE AND THREW IT AWAY. I will find out the names of these employees if I EVER GO THERE AGAIN and I will complain to Walgreens for sure!!!!!!!! I end up going here often cause I live down the street. I guess the best way I could review it is, no one really takes any pride in working here, that's for sure. They are slow to help you, and when they do, they make sure to do it with the least work as possible. They really need to make sure their cash register guy takes showers before he comes to work. Not to be horribly mean, but the guy is filthy. You can smell him from behind the checkout, and has clear visual signs of non cleanliness. Not just once, every time I go there. He is nice though, just dirty. I bought beer there last week, and realized it expired in April, (3 months ago). Picked up my prescription meds for my daughter because the pharmacy called twice telling me it's ready. So I go there, drive thru, sat down in my car waiting for somebody to help me because all the workers there were acting as if they were all busy. One lady with dreadlocks told me "we'll be right with you" after about 3-4 mins, yes I timed them, the tech named Marissa said the other medicine they still have to mix because they want to make sure that I am paying for it. $7 is the cost of that med with my insurance and they want to make sure I have $7 to pay. So i said of course I am paying. Then she said "ok it will be another 10 minutes because we have to mix it." She told me to wait, and pull out of the drive thru and go around to wait 10 mins then come back. There are maybe 2-3 cars behind me. So i pulled up so they can help the other customers. I was upset and showed them that I was upset because why would you call twice when on reality it isn't ready?? I get it maybe they don't want to waste meds but the service here is crap. The Marissa girl did not apologize, for being slow and making me go around to wait. They should have some sort of system for these type of things, calling customers telling them they are ready but when u get there, it's not. This is actually the 2nd time it has happened to me! They called and the meds weren't ready because of some issues. This pharmacy is poorly managed. I will switch pharmacy from now on. The tech did now apologiZe when I went back to the drive thru. Rude. Thinks she is entitled to being rude. She handed me the meds like nothing happened. If Marissa is reading this, please tell your parents to teach you some manners. Haven't had any issues at this Walgreens. I get my prescriptions here and also always go here for quick shopping of items on sale or items I can get with my Walgreens rewards. My only complaint is they don't carry Physicians Formula make up. I always have to go to CVS for it. Which I don't like doing because I prefer Walgreens over cvs. That's the only real reason I gave it 4 stars, and also the pharmacy area can sometimes be very slow. Maybe unorganized. read more

Great place to come to so you can pick up a few things. I'm rating it 5 because they're only human and are sometimes understaffed. Regardless they have always been helpful and I've been able to get my prescriptions in a timely manner. If you are crazy tight on a schedule and expect it like clockwork to be done, in the time you want your prescription done, please be more realistic. You aren't the only person who needs prescriptions. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Last month I was waiting at the photo section for a pick up and the manager, seeing me waiting, rushed to assist me. Today I went in to pick up some more pictures and Usman, the employee who works at the photo section, recognized me, remembered my name somehow and had the pictures all scanned and ready for me!!! Courtney or Cynthia in pharmacy is amazing. She went above and beyond. I dropped my prescriptions off for an operation I'm having in five days. She was amazing and I went to have them filled and she noticed one of the prescription wasn't covered under my insurance and faxed the doctor and was just really great. I proceeded to go home and call back later in the day to see if they reached the doctor per changing one of the prescriptions to cover my insurance. I was on hold over 50 minutes and hung up on more than three times. And during the call where I was on hold for FIFTY minutes plus I never once was told do you mind holding they just would pick up and hang up and place back on hold every time it took me off hold because I was on hold too long and rung back to alert they have a client on hold so long ring ring remember u have someone on the phone .... Absolutely heinous customer service. Try this when the phone rings don't just pick up and click to hold try saying do you mind holding or I'm sorry one more moment or we're getting to you there's 11 guests in front of you. I work next door to this walgreens so I'm here all the time. As I was checking out Marrietta who normally is very pleasant was questioning my $50 dollar bill. It was an old bill without new markings. She kept looking for marks like a strip or halograms but I told her that I didn't think they have those marking on old bills. She kept saying that she thinks its fake and even the person in line behind me told her the old bills didn't have it. Marrietta called the manager Anthony Swanson and he kept looking for a strip or halogram as well. He then told me he couldn't except it because it looks fake. I asked him how he can tell and he made up the fact that it felt and looked fake. But he couldn't test or prove to me that it wasn't real. I had it checked later and it was definitely real. I'm not upset at all in them thinking it may be counterfeit that's their job but they couldn't prove it and ended up embarrassing me. I will be making a formal complaint to corporate as well. read more

Cynthia is awesome she won't even take a tip I wanted to give her. She went over and beyond to keep me posted and contact me when things were done, appreciate her awesomeness!!!
