The great thing about this place is its 24 hours and you can go in there buy whatever it is you needed that you forgot on your trip. Me and my wife came in here after wandering the casinos around 2 am because we forgot our tooth brushes at home, perfect go in there and buy cheap toothbrushes also needed a disposable razor and that was about it. Also had a hankering for salt and vinegar chips for some reason so got a large bag of lays and a three bottles of water for the road. The prices are very over priced here but you will not find any kind of mercy anywhere on the strip so, you have to take the good with the bad. Here in Vegas for SHOT and as always stopped in at Walgreens the other day to pick up some items to keep us alive in the booth. Was met at the door by "Sandy" who, as far as we are concerned, is now the "Face of Walgreens ! " Her greeting and welcoming smile made us feel like we were her long lost friends. You could not have a better person representing the Walgreen's Organization in that fashion. She asked if she could help us find anything and directed us to where everything was. As for the store itself . . . . HUGE and HAS EVERYTHING. Super Clean, Well Stocked, Organized. Was able to get food, drinks, and medical stuff to stave off the infamous SHOT Show Crud. While we were browsing Sandy came by and asked if we were finding everything and after guiding us to the one item we couldn't find (can't think of it now) was off to help somebody else. Got to the line and was concerned because it was soooo long, but then additional staff suddenly appeared and we just burned through the line and were quickly on our way. Walgreens should be sued by the government for grossly overcharging for generic prescriptions. I just went to get a refill for the generic Valsartan (Diovan). The brand name has been around for years and so is off of patent. The generic has been around for years and costs literally pennies a pill. Picking up my prescription, the cost without insurance was $365/30 pills. With medicare rx united health care-AARP, the cost was $18/30 The brand name shouldn't even cost $18 without insurance. Yes, it is more expensive. That's business, to charge us that amount for something we should've remembered to pack. It's not everyday you shop here, so it's all right. I see how the past reviews mentioned that the store is 11/2 level: the back aisles and clinic are four steps higher from the ground. I thought to leave a tip. Walgreens is just down the escalator from Carlo's Bakery, behind street level-Bouchon cafe, below Bouchon bakery which is just outside of Buddy V's patio tables, just behind the pedestrian bridge between the Mirage and Venetian, walk north or left after you get off from the DEUCE northbound bus, or to the side and front of Palazzo. Okay, hopefully no one will wonder where this Walgreens is now. Next to the Venetian and Palazzo properties, this location is great enough for me to consider it an attraction by itself. There is a fully stocked alcohol section, with the good stuff, stuff I never knew existed, souvenir area(s), a coffee, froyo, ice cream shop, deli....and soon me. So at The Palazzo, you have all these high end shops, and then you have Walgreens. Worked for me! I must've stopped by this location at least twice a day during my last trip there, mainly to stay hydrated in the 105 degree heat. For all the years I've been staying mid-strip, my biggest complaint was a lack of a good convenience shop walking distance to the casinos. Well, my complaints have been answered. Not just a convenience shop, but a drug store with extras. Right next door to the Venetian and Palazzo and a short hop and skip from the Mirage and Treasure Island's is this place. You can get cold drinks, bottled water, drugs, some grocery and even food here. Plus it's 24/7 baby! Of course, you pay higher than a grocery store or a pharmacy off the strip, but that is the price you pay for such a convenience. read more

the funny thing is i never shop at Walgreen when at home. But this place is a godsend when staying at Palazzo/Veneitian/TI/Mirage. If you don't feel like driving off the strip to a Target or grocery store/7-11 then this is your place. I come here for snacks,drinks,icee,and even the souviners. The only bad thing about this last time was when I was in the refridgerated section this homeless guy came up and demanded I get him a sandwich. I would've done it had he not demanded it. Worst selection of typical drugstore items - toiletries, over the counter meds, etc. If you want to buy outrageously over priced liquor, wine or beer; if you want to buy outrageously over priced pre-packaged stale tasteless sandwiches; if you want to buy outrageously over priced crappy souvenirs - then this place is the bomb-diggity. But if you need toothpaste, soap, deodorant, aspirin, baby wipes, etc, you will be SOL at this place. I arrived in Vegas and developed a heat rash around my neck. The itching was unbearable. I went to the Walgreens at the Venetian/Palazzo. I asked the pharmacist for advice who immediately recommended an anti-itch otc cream. Within 3 days , as instructed, it healed but needed a moisturizer. Again, he recommended a cream and I followed instructions and it's much better. I was able to bring it home to Canada and continue to use as needed. Professional and reliable pharmacist, A.R. After arriving in Las Vegas we make it a point to come here first for drinks and snacks for the hotel room. This Walgreens is HUGE and dedicates most of its HUGE floor space to items you want while on vacation (alcohol! water! frozen yogurt! candy! sunscreen! ICEE's!). They recently renovated the store so now a full 90% of the store is dedicated to items like that. In the waaaaaaay back of the store you'll find the pharmacy and your usual drug store items like aspirin, etc. They also changed the checkout area for the better in that you now queue up and an automated voice tells you the register to go to (of which where are a lot). There's really nothing to complain about, although my wife liked this Walgreens before the renovation as she said it had more of a gritty "Vegas" feel to it. No more grit here! read more

I'm so happy this Walgreens existed at the Palazzo. It was nice to have a place to get cheaper bottled water & snacks. They also sell souvenirs & alcohol among the usual Walgreens offerings. The #1 reason I like this Walgreens is because of the healthcare clinic located inside. I'd spent 10 days in Vegas and on the last day I managed to get an eye infection. I guess it's bound to happen when you're at an event with 150,000 attendees & their germs. I was pretty much freaking out when my eye became red, teary, and puffy. My friend told me to seek out an urgent care & the Walgreens healthcare clinic came up. So off I went. My wait time was about 25 minutes or so. Not too bad. The lady was nice & ended up prescribing me eye drops which helped. I was flying out the next day regardless of how my eye was looking. I was over Vegas. The biggest nuisance was going through all the questions & health history. My BP was also elevated & she seemed to focus more on that than my eye. I'd spent 10 days in Vegas for work with all the smoke & stress, half the day freaking out about my eye, and the last hour ugly crying so of course my BP was going to be elevated. So thank you Walgreens for having healthcare clinics in your stores. I never thought I'd need one but I'm glad it was there when I did need it! read more

It's a Walgreens and it has souvenirs that say Vegas things on them, and everything is about 10-20% more expensive than off strip Walgreens. Holy crap, this Walgreens is amazing and it has saved my life (and my friends' lives) on numerous occasions over the past few years. It has a deli, alcohol, all the Vegas-themed trinkets you can imagine, emergency make-up, TONS of Gatorade and other rehydration necessities, AND A FROYO BAR! Perfect location! This Walgreen's rules! I always stay at the Venetian, and having a Walgreens this close is awesome. If you're staying in this end of the strip (TI, Wynn, Palazzo, Venetian, etc...) you will definitely want to swing in here. Stop in and pick up multipacks of bottled water, gatorade, energy drinks, even beer, and save yourself TONS instead of getting them through the gift shops or even worse, your room. Definitely stop in here on your first day and stock up for your trip. Also great, tons of snacks for late night munching. If you forget your medication or need something to make your stomach feel better- Walgreens has it. And if you're looking for cheesy Vegas souveneirs to bring home to family and friends- STOP HERE. They have TONS of Vegas things all very, VERY cheap. Can't go wrong with this place- so glad it's opened up right near Venetian. The nicest, cleanest, prettiest Walgreens ever. They have tons of stuff and everything is extremely well organized. They even have froyo station in the small food court thingy in the front. It comes in handy when you're heading back from a night of clubbing and want some late night snacks...or Advil for the hangover you're gonna have when you wake up. read more

I really liked the look of this Walgreen's, however, the prices Omg! I forgot my eyeliner at home (I know, my fault, ugh) so we crossed the street from Treasure Island to get here. It was $11.49 for a Revlon eyeliner that costs $5.00 at Walmart! I don't think it's right to charge that much for regular items. read more

Probably one of the nicest Walgreens then again it is at the Palazzo and right next to Barnes New York. I guess you can say its an upscale Walgreens. After all the walking around to try to find a lounge to chill we ended up here. I end up getting water since I feel so dry in Vegas. Plus cough drops since the smoke was not helping me. Inconsistent policy. I walked in the day before with my girlfriend to buy alcohol and no ID check was requested. Walked in today to do the same and they required ID from both of us and insisted it was standard protocol. If it was standard it would happen every single time. BTW, I'm 45 and my girlfriend is 35.
