Walgreens locations are all over this city (including this one) have been consistently a welcome convenvience, especially the locations open 24 hours. This specific location offers taking passport photos! The prices are reasonable and they accept manufacturer's coupons. I've never used the pharmacy services here. They are there when I need misc. items and I don't feel like going to a grocery store. The service (at any Walgreens) has been consistently good and stores clean and well organized. read more

I like going to Walgreen over cvs any day. They have more than one register open and you don't have to wait in line for an hour, as opposed to the hour you spend in line at cvs. The pharmacy staff is pleasant to deal with too. read more

I live very close to this Walgreen's location.. So convenience gets a ... When I interact with the pharmacy, I get acceptable service. . (Even though I know when I have to speak to them they are slammed busy, so I understand the rushed conversation... No complaint, I get it ) I sometimes get ahold of Matt, which I like him. He knows me and I've gotten him to laugh, which makes a good connection. Matt you got my ! In fact all of the pharmacists know me and I take ALOT of meds, they are always quick to tell me if I have any meds that should not be taken with other meds. That let's me know they take the time on their own to inform me. I know it's their job but I've had other pharmacies that don't say anything... So. And lastly, sometimes I need to get my prescriptions expedited, and I know if they can bump me up, they will. It doesn't happen all the time, but I know I'm not the only customer... So I understand. . THE ONLY THING THAT DESPERATELY NEEDS IMPROVING IS THE PHONE SYSTEM. IF YOU CALL THE PHARMACY, DO YOUR BEST TO USE THE IVR. YOU CAN REFILL AND EXPEDITE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS THROUGH THE ROBOT. IF YOU HAVE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, PLAN ON AT LEAST 20+ MINUTES. HOLD MUSIC.... RING... HOLD MUSIC AGAIN.... RING...(you think someone is picking up the phone but no...) HOLD MUSIC AGAIN.... RING.... PICKS UP PHONE... THEN MORE DAM MUSIC! ...A VICIOUS CYCLE THAT SOMETIMES DISCONNECTS THE WHOLE CALL!!! If I could give this pharmacy a big fuck you I would! Sorry inappropriate. My infant daughter was sick and while I was at work I had to have my mom take her to urgent care where they got a prescription for antibiotics. Keep in mind I go to the Walgreens on trop and rainbow once a month for my prescriptions and have never had a problem. My mother goes in to fill the prescription shows my insurance cards kept in the diaper bag for situations such as this and they can't find her profile. Ok understandable because this is the first time my daughter has had a prescription. My mom gives her info to make a profile, the tech (Matt) looks at them and tells my mom he's never seen insurance cards like that and he can't fill it because they look suspicious? I have united health care and there is nothing suspicious about my cards, but let me correct you (Matt) you were looking for my prescription card and that's all you had to say. At this point I have a flustered mother and a sick daughter. He turns them away. My mom calls and has no idea what to do from this point on. I call my Walgreens on trop and rainbow, tell the manager what a douche (Matt) is and she simply makes a profile for my daughter and gets my prescription cards from my profile and pastes them onto my daughters. Done and done so simple. Still at work I call to speak with (Matt) and he lets me know that 1. My mom never had the cards, really then how were they suspicious? I then say no problem I called my Walgreens and got it all taken care of. Matt then let's me know how convenient it was that I was able to do that and why don't we just go there. At this point I had an out of body experience with the sarcasm and fucking dick attitude. I send my mom back in.. tell Matt to run the prescription and viola it works . I have worked in customer service for the last 10 years and it always really just saddens me to experience people in the same industry who are rotten fucks that have nothing better to do but to make other people panic and fret about their already anxiety filled situation. I know calling and speaking with the manager doesn't really do much I find in my area of business yelp is a lot more dependable. I hope the Walgreens manager sees this and corrects the situation. The drive-thru here is horrible. Don't even waste your time!!! Their isn't even a greeting window. I've been sitting here for 15 minutes, because they forgot that I was even here. I drive past this Walgreens all the time and never actually use it. I use another one near my work. Maybe it's the way it's located in the shopping center that's kinda weird. You have to drive past it to get to it and make your way back to the store once you're in the shopping centers parking lot. Anyways, this review is for their young man cashier! Long story short: bought a mascara, didn't even open it, just changed my mind about drugstore make up and bought my rip off department store mascara that I love!!! Had the receipt and it was well within its 30 day return period but the cashier told me they don't return other stores merchandise and that I would need to return it at the original store it was purchased from. Really? I'm pretty sure that's not the policy but I'm too tired to argue about an $8.00 mascara. I left and will probably return it from the Walgreens I normally go to near my work but it should have been returned that night and I shouldn't have to make a separate trip another day! I transferred my RX and my whole family to Walgreens and their service is really shitty!!! They forgot to tell me that they supposed to call my doctor before filling my RX And we waited for 30 minutes before they told us this!!! The PRICES WERE HIGHER THAN WHAT OUR COPAY ACTUALLY IS!!! Don't get the wellness program they offer it sucks!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO ANY CRAPY WALGREENS!!!! In a stressful environment such as this, they are constantly moving, and pleasurable to deal with (even though it's gotta be tough). For the cashiers and stocker girls are wonderful as well. The Pharmacy at this Walgreens is the worst I've ever been to. I gave them a prescription on Saturday only to be told that they did not have the medicine in, that I would have to wait until Monday. Monday rolls around, no call. I called them and was told it still wasn't ready when I questioned why not I was put on hold. The male pharmacist told me I just got it in I'll have it ready in 20 mins. That call took place at approximately 10:30am, I arrived to pick up my prescription close to 5pm only to be told that they couldn't fill it because they couldn't read the doctors handwriting. When the Pharmacy manager called me he apologized for the mis-communication however we would not be able to order the medicine if it wasn't in stock if we couldn't read the prescription. I let him know that I didn't magically pull that answer out of no where and was offended that he would even imply that I did. He wanted to know if I had a name. I asked him how many times does his staff introduce themselves when a customer pulls up to the drive thru window, because none ever had to me. He said they should I said they don't and that would be a good place to start. I let him know that asking me an open ended question like what would you like for us to do is ridiculous, what can you do for me other than fill my prescription. My account had no notation regarding the medicine not being in stock. I let him know that the first time a pharmacists is handed a prescription they should begin to take ownership until that customer is leaving with their medicine in hand, and that they should take better care when noting their customers accounts. The managers lax attitude left me frustrated as I told him they get their direction from him and that his customer service skills were piss poor so theirs would be also. No care and concern at all. The photo service is deplorable. I made two orders online, one of which was made the day before. I called about 7 times today to see if my order was ready, but no one answered. Finally I decided to show up today since I was unable to speak to anyone. When I arrived I waited for a while because no one was at the counter, even after being called on the speaker by the girl at the front register. When someone finally showed up only 1 of the 2 orders had been processed (well after the pick-up time), so I waited for them to print them right then. After I got home I realized I had to go back because the pictures weren't cropped right and they weren't cut to size. The guy at the counter looked at them and said "oh s**t" and said the girl was supposed to cut them but failed to. At least I got a full refund, but now I have to start from scratch and make a new order, which consists of almost 200 pictures. The photo center is run by a bunch of kids who don't know how to take direction or work professionally. I'm not giving you Monopoly money to do your job. read more
