Do not go to Walgreens on Desert Inn and Fort Apache. The pharmacy staff there are all curteous, polite and helpful except for the pharmacist named Lily. She is ignorant, condescending and racist. Besides being lazy and not wanting to do vaccinations when there are open appointments she is a liar and gives misinformatio.. As an MD I caught her in theses lies. Hopefully Walgreens corporate monitors these reviews so will investigate her and interview the nice pharmacy techs that Work there in confidence so they can truthfully tell corporate what she is doing to drive away customers. Honestly I get it.. staff shortages affect everyone... but enough is enough. This pharmacy consistently does not get prescriptions. It takes multiple calls to them to finally validate that they have stuff. Today I came to get my prescription, I walk in.. oh they're doing drive thru from 5-10pm.. not a single sign anywhere. So now I sit here in line and wait in this sluggish line where people are also doing Covid tests. Walgreens - never again. read more

This Walgreens is the worse pharmacy I've ever used. They are very slow and not very friendly. Customer service is something they are not interested in. I've used them for the last 8 or 9 months and have been slowly moving to another pharmacy. My experience has been some kind of issue every month. For example I'll drop 2 scripts off together but when I pick them up they will be bagged in 2 bags and I only get 1 and then need to go back for the other. Or once they said it was to early for a refill, called my doctor and they didn't know anything about, called my insurance company and they said they approved it and their system showed it filled. So I had to go back to the pharmacy (the next day and 1 day after my pervious months scrip has run out) and made them count the days of the month. This Walgreens pharmacy / drive thru is the ABSOLUTE worst. I was told to "drive around and come back in line" so they can help other costumers. All because they had to input a copay card that I was told to bring WHEN I PICKED UP MY RX. This is not the first time I've had problems here. It took me 30 minuets in line to pick up a prescription and then it was filled incorrectly. After an hour waiting had to get back in line to get the correct prescription. This is not the first time waiting this long to just pick up. Terrible customer service. Never had this kind of problem and other Walgreens, even when traveling across the country. Like every Walgreens in the US, leave time if you want your script. The wait time is always. 39-60 minutes. The rest of the store is good, just make sure you pick up there sale flyer when you walk in. No reason to pay full price when there might be a 2/1 sale going on. Most of the time just ask the person working at the reg, they will normally hook you up if a deal is to be had. read more

Just got my first dose of covid vaccine at this Walgreens. Thanks to everyone that works so hard in the pharmacy!!! it was a busy Sunday for them, and they all worked so hard to keep up with the constant line of customers (some of the customers were not happy with the wait time....but it was only b/c the staff were trying so hard to accommodate the customers who had made mistakes with their refills and insurance information). I hope the staff knows that there efforts are appreciated. read more

When we were at check out we noticed there was a discount on an item we purchased that wasn't applied to our bill and the moment we made it aware to the cashier, the manager went ahead and told the cashier to honor the price adjustment. read more

So frustrating when your trying to get your medication and you get no help for 30 minuets and then when you finally get help they tell you that they don't have the medicine or you have to wait for it to be filled. The pharmacy does not keep my B/P in stock so they always have to order it but it only takes a day or two. Unfortunately this time around they told me it might take a month because it's been on back order and it's coming from California. I'm leaving for Los Angeles tomorrow so I asked if they could find a Walgreens down there that might have it in stock. I want to THANK Lisa who took the time to help me. Dropped off prescription after waiting for 20 minutes in drive thru. Was told I could pick up prescription at 6:50. I even questioned because I thought I picked my script up last month on the 4th. She said no, it's available today. Went back and waited in line again for 20 minutes to be told the earliest I can pick up is tomorrow. After she told me tonight and I received a text and email stating it was ready. I get to go back tomorrow and waste another 20 minutes. I wish CVS took my insurance still. read more

I arrived right behind another guest and the fat manager was outside the door smoking a cigarette in one hand and told me I can't come in because they were closed when 20 seconds before another guest walked in, I asked if I could get a can of choice noodle soup for my mom and she said im sorry I cant. took another puff on her cancer stick and walked her obese self back into the store and hand pulled the electric door closed. just awful service, I'm sure she was ready to get off a get to her buffet style dinner but she was not the standard I'm used to with these location's. no wonder they have low ratings for this location. sad. read more

I haven't really written much reviews for place like this, but I feel I should mention what happened here. I've been picking up my meds here since I February, as it is the closest pharmacy to my home. Last month I realized that my rewards points have been crediting to two different accounts. I usually keep my receipts for awhile, but unfortunately I had just cleaned out my old ones a couple of weeks prior. I called Walgreens support to see if I could get this fixed. It was discovered that there was another account with the same number. Presumably the person who had my phone number before I did. They were able to fix the ones that I still had receipts & deleted the other account, as it was inactive. I was told if I went to the Walgreens where I purchased the items I could speak to a manager to get copies of the receipts I no longer had to get credit for the other receipts. I drove down to the Walgreens the next morning and spoke to a manager named Emily. With the necessary info, she was able to get me copies of the 2 transactions I needed. I called the Walgreens support line from my car. I wanted to make sure it was done before I left the store. I found out the numbers I needed to give weren't provided on the transaction copies. I had to go back in to the store and ask Emily for the info I needed. Since it wasn't on the copies, she said she would credit my account to the proper amount to correct my situation. She also got me a physical rewards card since I only had been using my phone number. I can choose to use CVS or elsewhere but I will continue to patronize Walgreens long as it has great employees at their call center & at their stores like Emily. read more

I never had problems with this particular store until one night I tried to walk in at 9:55pm, not realizing they were closing at 10pm. I had a kidney infection & this was the closet store for me to get fluids that I would be in and out. As I walked in, a male employee screamed across the way to me that they're closing in five minutes. Instead of screaming at me, he could have walked over, mention they were closing soon and see if I needed assistance with loading up a basket with what I needed so I'd be out in less than five minutes. Instead of assisting, I was rushing frantically through the rows to get what I needed & instead of buying things, I ended up putting things back and leaving - I didn't sign up for "Supermarket Sweep" .. I ended up at Walmart - at least there, no one talks to you so you won't get any attitude from the employees .... read more

I like this Walgreens a lot. The Photo Center has never disappointed me. The selection of items are always a little bit above the other spots including the As Seen on TV shelf. Their magazine selection is even a little more diverse. I always pick up the latest copy of Mental Floss here. It excels and is a cut above what I expect from Walgreens which is why I marked it so high. Not to mention, all of the staff here look like they like to work here and I applaud them on their hiring and management. read more

They never answer the phones in a timely manner. They have gotten worse.Especially now that its getting busier in this part of town. The SouthWest is starting to lose its luster and the value.Too much overbuilding when they should take it north .traffic is already getting really bad. Never had enough traffic lights. Bad drivers. It is going to get really terrible when the Raiders stadium and that dome open. People need to be more concerned about their county commissioners and elected officials. No wonder their ratings are so low. This is one of the most terrible pharmacies on the planet. Sub par customer service and ZERO communication skills. You think that people who have to deal with sick folks on the daily that they would have more knowledge and compassion but apparently Walgreens hires THE bottom of the barrel in the pharmacy. Kristen in the pharmacy is THE worst. This woman couldn't communicate with us the first time we were there they they didn't have our prescription for my very ill daughter, nah the stupid hooker told us to come back in a half hour so we did. When we arrived the lady at the check out said our prescription wouldn't be ready for another hour even though the idiot Kristen told us to come back at 1:20. Then the check out lady informed us that one prescription is on indefinite hold. I asked for copies of our prescription since we have to now spend more time trying to get the prescription filled elsewhere (hopefully somewhere more competent) they handed us voided copies of our prescription. When I spoke to the manager and he said he would speak to this stupid Kristen lady, well, I overheard them and she's nothing but a liar. Sadly we will NEVER go to this Walgreens for ANYTHING again because how they handled the situation was horrible. They even left me a message saying my prescriptions were ready!! Eighteen months of promising me they have fixed it this time. Only as usual, they have not. Time to find another pharmacy. Patience has run out. They told me the prescription would be ready in 3 hours and I showed up 3 1/2 hours later and they hadn't even started to fill it. Plus I already had to wait in line for 25 mins and had to call to see if it was normal practice for them to have cars sit at the window for that long. Drink selection is small and the employees are the worst! Blue hair lady socializes for too long while a line of people want to check out. And when you buy water because of and advertised deal they don't alert the customer that it's only good with a store card.
