The cosmetics, shampoo and grooming products were all locked up. They have an attendant on site to assist and have you pay before moving on. On Christmas Day we were sent on a very glamorous mission: acquire dog food before the dog staged a revolt. With most grocery stores closed, we heroically landed at Walgreens, where we found a perfectly acceptable bag of kibble that screamed, "This will do... for now." Crisis averted until the stores reopened the next day. While we were there (purely out of necessity, obviously), we stumbled upon some cute, sparkly Las Vegas souvenir cups. Naturally, we had to get a couple, bc nothing says responsible pet parent like emergency dog food and impulse-glitter cups in the same trip!! Every Walgreens should be this clean and organized. There was even staff stocking and organizing shelves. This location had a open layout with wide aisles. It's been a long time since I've found a drug store enjoyable to shop at, and this one was definitely a unexpected surprise. The local vegas souvenirs were pretty nice as well. Customer Service is the best I've experienced in Las Vegas. And, I've been to many stores in our city. This group is helpful, friendly and efficient. The store has a lot of beauty products in locked cases, usually never much of a wait for an employee to help out. Great selection of everything! Also, the pharmacy staff is friendly. Came in for a photo order pickup. No clear photo counter unlike other Walgreens. I saw a button that said to press it to let them know I'm here. I want to say how much I appreciate the security guard and the manager on staff right now. I just experienced a very uncomfortable situation with a man harassing me in the store he left but was waiting out side right by the door and the manager and security guard working right now waited with me inside until my uber pulled up and even walked me out to my uber to make sure I was safe. This is my neighborhood pharmacy and I am sad to report I will not be using this location. It is HIGHLY unsafe at ALL hours of the day. There are homeless sleeping behind the building & in the parking lot. They approach you asking for money, food & cigarettes. There is trash, urine and other materials all over the property. I don't feel comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot so I attempted to get Allegra D at the drive through window and was told I HAVE to walk in. I said I am not comfortable leaving my car in their lot or even walking in. Their advice was... park next door at Chick-Fil-A. Heck no! So that I can be mugged in the parking lot? read more

So maybe the 5-star in my review might be a bit skewed, for during the COVID-19 pandemic, this place is kind of a hidden gem because there is little traffic and it is quite and peaceful, the store is clean and organized, and the staff is readily available. Virtually not another person in the store other than staff. Under normal circumstances, this place is so horribly convenient to the Palms, the Rio and Gold Coast, it would be so convenient to tourists and probably is super busy. On our COVID-19 list, we found bread, Advil, Tylenol, milk, canned goods and latex disposable gloves. On our regular list, we found booze, snacks and batteries. Although normally I think open 24 hours a day, their hours with the wicked world we live in our currently, I believe 9am-9pm. Hillary on their staff was super friendly and kind as we sauntered around. There is a security guard at the front door to keep shoppers safe. This store has been open for maybe six months and I realize under normal circumstances it might be jammed. But as a local, now and into the future, this is a horribly convenient location if you buzz to and from the Strip on Flamingo as it pertains to finding a drugstore. read more

This location is close to my home so it's very convenient. They do an ok job keeping the homeless and problem people out of the the parking lot during the day at night it's not the safest. I love the pharmacy the staff is very friendly and fast here. The negatives is that it's close to so many hotels this Walgreens is geared to more tourists and lack some of the more common staples found at most stores. The other major negative is that so many products are locked down due to theft so it seems like I constantly have to get an employee to open the cases to get me the products. read more

This is for the pharmacy. Not only was I never notified that my prescription was filled (it was an out of state refill and I wasn't sure if it would work but I ended up not needing my refill at that point in time). But then a month later I get a call telling me that it's been sitting there and will be sent back tmrw! I'm not even in state at this point so I ask my friend to pick it up for me (after all, he was the one who referee me to this POS place). Well he decides to roll into Walgreens at 7:30 only to discover that he referee me to the literal ONLY WALGREENS IN LAS VEGAS, NAY, IN THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT EFFING CLOSES AT 7:00!!!!!! Now granted they have their hours posted but at the same time, they can drop dead, because what kind of janky a$$ walgreens pharmacy as these hours??? Just WHY?! What a joke! I made an appointment for my 2nd shingles vaccine and had to wait a freaking hour! I was the only one there. I finally had to go back up to see why it's taking so long. The same guy who check me in, may I help you ‍ I asked him nicely how long it will be. At this last doctors appointment I switched my pharmacy to this location instead of North 5th location ( I have been using that location for many years) I sent my boyfriend to pick up my prescription ( I was on the phone the entire time). When he gets there they said they did not have my insurance information. I told them that was impossible. They lady at the window ( Maria) insisted My information was not on file. We insisted that my information was on file and ask her to called in North fifth location to get the information because I currently am at work And my insurance card is at home because I never needed my picking up a prescription. She did not call, she stated that she looked in their system; the same system that the other locations would use and it was not there and insisted he drive all the way home to get my insurance card and bring it back. I hung up the phone and called the North location myself. They answered quickly and I spoke to someone by the name of China found my information in their system in less than 30 seconds. She was very helpful and told me to have the other location call. So I called my boyfriend back and gave her the other locations information (phone number) and of course what happened when she called the other location SHE WAS ABLE TO FIND MY INFORMATION. I had an extremely unpleasant & prejudice experience at this Walgreen while on a trip with my friends. Me and my friends were shopping at this Walgreens a few days out of our trip, but the last time we went we had the worse interaction ever. Sunday, September 3,2023 we went to buy a few snacks and alcohol to continue our day out. That morning we went my friend for got her passport in the airbnb and I didn't have my ID because I just had my phone and used Apple Pay. The employee Eric told her she could not purchase it because she had no idea. We completely understood and decided to come back once we got our identification. Since we were tourist and were staging down the street, we often just took walks to the Walgreen. (This is why we did not have all of our stuff with us). when we went back to the house my friend only had her passport so I told her I would bring my identification so she would not take a chance on losing her passport. (She still brought it anyway but it was my turn to buy the alcohol anyway) About an hour or two later we arrived back to Walgreens to buy the liquor. When we got to the liquor section we called for an employee and the same cashier Eric arrive. We greeted him with a welcoming hello but he did not respond & had a annoyed and unpleasant demeanor as soon as he seen us. He just assumed we were buying jack daniels and when I told him thats not what we wanted he had an attitude. He grabbed the bottle we decided on and told it to the from. I also had can sodas so I grab those and met him at the front. When we got to the cashier eric only scan our sodas, we asked him to also ring up the alcohol and he did it annoyed and mad. After ringing up the items he asked for my ID and it was provided (I am 30) and he gave us the total. I was trying to get my Apple Pay working and a line started to form. My friend said "here. i have you cash. Pay for it with this and hand it to me." This was to speed up our process so the line would not get longer. because she handed me cash he told us that we couldn't get the alcohol And proceeded to be rude and go back and forth with us. I requested a manager to come do the transaction be the situation was starting to escalate. When the manager Darlene arrived, instead of finding out the problem from both customer and employee she instead only spoke to him. I tried to pay again and she declined me. Out of frustration I blurted out "I AM THE ONE PAYING FOR THE ALCOHOL!" My friend just said let go we will file a complaint. I have work in the alcohol industry for 10 years so I understand the laws and I am pretty responsible but we had no chance to explain the situation, if they were concerned that my friend was under age (she's not she older than me) they could of expressed those concerns and asked for her ID as well. And there is no law saying that your friend cannot have your money in her bag. But we had the impression from the beginning that we were unfairly being prejudge. Because of this incident we have contacted corporate and the CEO so this will never happen again. read more

Arrived on time to my appointment and had to wait 30 min for the tester to show up to work, and still had to wait for them to print out all paperwork, etc. No apologies, no "thank you for waiting". Supposedly a 72 hour guarantee to receive test results but I did not receive them in time for my flight. read more
