I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. I tried calling before to ask if it was ready. I was on hold for 31 minutes before it automatically hung up. I asked the guy how come no one answered the phone. He had no good response. I waited for Mommy's prescription to be authorized. As I waited, I witnessed the young man assisting an older couple. He was quite pleasant. He answered all the wife's questions concerning the medication. She had a lot of questions but he was very calm, polite and patient with her. When he called me up for Mom's prescription, I thanked him for how he served the couple. You just don't see that nowadays. He is a rare gem. A great employee. Mahalo again! read more

Never had a good experience here. They keep you on hold over an hour and you get disconnected. Going in store is not any better.

I have mixed experiences with this Walgreens. if you go in person, it works out some of the time. The auto phone system is horrible. I finally reached a human to check the status of my medicine. He put me on hold for 45 minutes and never came back to the phone. I hung up and called back only to speak with the useless robot and could not reach a human again. On another occasion, I was having intense pain from kidney stones. i went to pick up my pain medications. i was told to wait because the pharmacist went to lunch. i was parked beside the pharmacist and watched him smoke 5 cigarettes before he went back to work. my prescription was ready an hour and a half later. People have got to do better. read more

While the people working there are friendly, the store lacks a good, reliable phone system as well as next to impossible to get things. Their costs for medications are way over other places, there is a long line in both the drive through and pick up window inside. Everything takes over an hour to take care of. I haven't gone there in a bit over two years, I tried this week and its just as bad as before. read more

Do not use this pharmacy!!!! I had a pharmacist LIE about a medication I had been out of for two days. First said insurance didn't cover it, lie number one. When I called to tell her they already paid Walgreens she then told me it was out of stock! Lie number two . I found out later that same evening it was filled. Called the store manager and he just said she made a mistake! A mistake about your health and well-being. He didn't even bother to call me himself so I told him I emailed the ceo of Walgreens and he abruptly hung up on me!!! A store manager hangs up on a customer. This is a joke of a pharmacy. Don't trust this store.They deserve 0 star but it's not an option.Oh and I really did email the ceo. More people need to go above store management. Maybe something will get done about Laurinburg Walgreens. read more

I waited behind one car for 40 minutes in drive thru just to be told that I couldn't get my prescription yet because the pharmacist, who went on lunch break 15 minutes before then, had to approve it. This pharmacy also gets back ordered on a medication that I have no problem getting filled at Wal-Mart. I'm done with this place. read more

0/5 star rating. I used Walgreens on Plaza Rd and they closed. I was switched to Walgreens at Westwood Way. I have been 4 days this week, and my medicine is still not correct or ready, not filled on time, and no person will answer the telephone in the pharmacy. They usually have plenty of staff in the pharmacy. I am left without medicines over a holiday weekend. My dr has sent this medicine and it is on file with the correct pharmacy, as they called out the address--all the way from Southern Pines--to assure me my prescriptions were on file with the correct store. *I WILL NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY AGAIN* I am not the only customer complaining about lack of service or lack of phone call pick ups. I come from another state to pick up and this a huge inconvenience. *Unprofessional *Can't pronounce medicine names *Can't fill meds timely manner *Can't pick up the phone *And the automated refill system doesn't always fill your scripts as it should. *This is MORE than a big deal. *Can not speak with a pharmacist. I will be filing my insurance Monday with a different pharmacy, this pharmacy is horrendous, not to mention the backed up drive-thru. read more

I moved out of Laurinburg 4 years ago and now I remember why...talk about a pack of unprofessional employees... I called to verify the availability of a prescription... I was then cut off by a no nothing pharmacy staff...who hung up on me...I called back to talk to the manager and was treated with the same disrespect... I advise anyone who wants to fill a prescription to go elsewhere.. unprofessional and totally disrespectful... Walgreens...do better... read more

Understaffed in the pharmacy since the other Walgreens closed. I literally sat in line for a prescription and one car didn't move for 30 minutes. This is a corporate issue. read more
