30 minutes waiting for a pharmacist to answer the phone and all a got was ring, hold pick up and back on hold over and over again

Waited 50 minutes in the drive up being advised to wait. Saw everyone inside who was already in line getting serviced.

The employees are very nice, but it gets very busy to where I've waited in the outside pharmacy line for 45 minutes or more. I can't even imagine what takes so long to serve the 2 cars in line in front of us. read more

My daughter was discharged from the hospital at midnight I brought her prescriptions here and they were prompt and courteous. One of the prescriptions was written incorrectly and the pharmacist tried diligently to get it fixed. When he could not I elected to work on that prescription the next day. Since it was a drive to this pharmacy from where we live I tried five other pharmacies. No help at all. I came back here and the pharmacist made calls, got to the physician, and with her help the problem was fixed. 2 pharmacists in 2 visits that were genuinely concerned about the patient and went above and beyond. Pharmacy never answers the phone and hangs up on you after 20-30 minutes of waiting. Drive thru line can take up to 40 minutes. You might get car jacked while waiting. System is always down. Scary, dirty, mismanaged disaster of a place. Do better, Walgreens. read more

This is the third time I have visited this location, the first time was fine, the atm was working, the second time, ATM is unplugged, ok, tell me how does a twenty four hour store is closed, but security is looking at you, like why are you just standing there, why even bother being open, I'm good. Pharmacy department takes a very long time. I was on drive through and it took them 2 hours to take care of me!

My pregnant sister is about to go into labor so we ordered adult and baby diapers for a curbside pick up at 9:13AM. We got to the store at 10AM on the way to the hospital and confirmed that we have arrived. Unfortunately, we waited outside the store for 10 minutes until we decided to go inside and ask about our order. Once we got to the "pick up" sign inside the store, the employee didn't even know there was a curb side order waiting even though we confirmed pick up 10 minutes prior and ordered with enough time. She was apologetic about it, but we still ended up waiting inside the store for an additional 10 minutes. What was the point of ordering CurbSide Pick up if we had to wait 20 minutes plus having to go inside the store to talk to someone? We could have just walked in without ordering online and picked up the supplies ourselves and that would have been faster. read more

Last night we ordered photos for my niece's birthday party. I am very disappointed by the quality of the photo. We sent in a large sized photo through the app but what we got was worse then pictures printed in the 90s. Also we sent in photos that were 4x4 (10 cents more than 4x6) but the pictures were printed on a 4x6 paper and they didn't cut out the extra white space. What was the purpose of the order size 4x4 if I could have just ordered it in 4x6? Yes, we can cut out the white space but it's obviously different cutting paper with scissors and paper cutters. This isn't my first time feeling this. I tried to just let it pass but not anymore. It is fast printing but I'd rather wait weeks from other printing companies. read more

This is the worst for Covid testing. I had to wait over 30 minutes just to do a drive thru testing. I will never come here again.

Found parking right in front of the store. Walked in and there was a line for the photo section. There was one girl attending everyone that needed assistance with the photo machines and everyone else that was in line. She would assist one person in line then go assist someone in the line. There was employees walking inside the photo section, but they would just leave without even helping her. They saw the long lines and didn't even bother to care. There was about five people in front of me and two people on the photo machines. They didn't know how to work them so she had to be going back and fourth. I just needed to pick up some pictures I ordered online. For some reason the people in line would take forever. I guess they didn't know what they wanted. I seriously felt like going to the front and saying can I just get my pictures. I didn't want to cut people in line because what if someone else had to do the same exact thing and was waiting. It took 20 minutes for me to finally be next in line. She asked for my last name and was looking through the B last name photos. I told her, It's Zelaya with a Z. She started looking through C last names. I told her again it's Z like Zebra. She finally found and it apologized and said she had a lot on her mind. I just wanted to pay and leave. She told me to check them before she charged me and I went through them really fast. I told her it was fine. She charged me and I was ready to leave. I expected so much more from this Walgreens since I decided to drive through 20 minutes of traffic to avoid the one in Crenshaw. I didn't think it would be about the same. The Crenshaw one is a little worst, but it's not worth avoiding it if I have to drive through so much traffic. The only reason I will return to either of them is because they have really good prices on the 4x6 photos with the coupons they send me through email. read more

This place is a joke. The pharmacy department is run by incompetent employees. This explains the constant lines. Corporate needs to replace the existing employees. They told me my medication will be ready at 9:30 and when I got there at 10:30, it still wasn't ready. It's a sealed bottle. All you have to do is slap a label on it and it's done. Now, I definitely don't usually buy cables at Walgreens but the place on the other side of the parking lot wanted $19, so I thought I'd give Walgreen a try - $17, better but still highway robbery for a cable can easily be purchased for $4 or $5. Be forewarned you may have to wait in line for more than an hour. I made a mistake of picking up my Rx* at 7:35 pm. I made it at 8:40 pm. Management doesnt care if the lines are long. Keep you expectation very low, it will surely make you grateful you get your medicine in less than an hour. *my Rx had been ready for pick up 2 days prior. I came here at 2a.m with my girlfriend and we were there for a minute looking around and there was this African American lady working there we had put our stuff in a shelf because we didn't have a basket to put our stuff ,while we were looking around and she comes with security telling us where we had put our stuff and we showed her she thought we were stealing stuff and the security kept looking at us the whole time the lady was on us ever since we entered the store it was so uncomfortable there was another homeless guy in the store and they were not on him only on us. I work directly across the street from this Walgreens. I've never even been into a walgreens till I started working across the street. This place is Awesome. They have EVERYTHING!.. I've purchased food, make-up, home goods, gifts, clothes. As Seen on TV items ( my favorite). My co-workers and I go into this walgreens every single day at least twice a day. It is a ritual to go on Monday morning to get the Weekly Ad's paper to check out the specials, they even have Coffee for 99cents on Fridays from a coffee machine and they have a slurpy machine for those hot days. I especially love the fact they give you cash back, it saves on having to go to the bank and there are no charges to your debit card, even thou there is an ATM in the store I've never used it. read more

I had a frustrating time at Staples near them and needed to print one picture for a present I am planning to give that night. Walgreens helped me instantly. They helped me with the process of developing my pictures. They also developed my pictures right away. I have returned later that day. I had to use the restroom, and they helped me instantly. PHARMACY GAVE ME THE WRONG MEDICATION! I had major surgery and my Dr. prescribed me Tylenol with codeine. This pharmacy gave me JUST plain Tylenol! This Walgreens called me 6 DAYS LATER to tell me the error they had made. I went through 6 days of angonizing pain because of their error. I am so thankful that this error did not result into a deadly outcome! read more

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. Staff are very rude ESPECIALLY Valerie. She obviously hates her job and should find a new career path because she is blatantly rude. They told me my prescription were ready to be picked it. After getting there they say they are not ready because the doctor made an error on the script. Rather than calling me or the doctor they said they sent a fax. I spoke to the doctor and he never received a fax or a call from them. Too many pharmacies in this area to deal with the attitude and chaos that comes with this place. No wonder Newsom cut ties with this company. read more

This Pharmacy is by far one of the worst managed. It's one of the only 24 hr Pharmacies in the area and they usually only have one person to deal with everyone. It's really a shame and it's very frustrating having to wait 15 mins for each person to be attended at a time. They even have the drive-through window!!!! What for? If you have enough people working to deal with the demand, it would be useful but instead, it screws everyone in line even more. You have been standing in line and someone drives up, they take them before the 5 people that were in line before, and another 15 mins just got added to your wait time. The pharmacists are always running around fruitlessly on some special blend off caffeine, running around behind the counter reminds you of when you loose your house keys and can't find them and you are looking everywhere. That's what they look like, the only thing they are NOT doing is helping people. What the hell are they doing??? They call up one customer to the counter, look up something on the computer for 5 mins, 99% of the time tell the customer some bad news usually it's your insurance doesn't cover it, or we don't have this prescription, and then turn around and scatter all over the place again, like they are looking for something they lost. Like WHAT!!!!! Just tell call the next person in line already! Get your shot together. People already are sick and need they're medication. Why can't you make our process of getting our medicines more efficient and positive. read more

You should get a negative star I literally drive all the way out to Orange County the same pharmacy for 20 years or even a few waters no problems with Pharmacy but I lived And one street over and try to take it vantage of a 24 hour service and it doesn't matter between me and my husband and her two friends are taking their afthe hospital visits medications each time have them completely omitted not giving you try to tell you what a doctor should we should we do but you should you should you take. You are surprised if you've had to wait on the 45 minutes we waited even longer and it's been every single time and then we come back it's still not ready for me to be told oh by the way we don't carry that it Hass to be ordered and that has happened almost every time I want to medications or been told we don't even make a product anymore but I took an entire day of coming back-and-forth because that this Hass to be Hass to be the worst pharmacy in Los Angeles they are incredibly rude with the staff that I left there I could not make it any more evident that the mask hate life or hate their jobs or both. Will no longer get a prescription here. The lines inside are crazy and the drive thru pick up is worse. The best times to come are earlier in the day. After work hours are insane. You will be waiting for a very long time. The line runs from one end of the store to the other. Also they kept sending me texts even after I picked up my prescription. This is about the whole story. Pharmacy is overworked, creating long lines. It also took staff too much time to do routine things. Newer staff have to run to manager to ask about the simplest things. Obviously new staff even basic training. The inefficiency isn't because of the hardworking and highly knowledgeable staff, it's because they haven't set up a proper computerised workflow. Picking up a description here on a weekday afternoon is insane. Little movement. Lines I side and in their drive thru. You will be there for a while. I switched to a Cvs near by since the traffic was better at that store. Sometimes the drive thru line is so long it reaches the curb and the main street. This pharmacy is shameful. After the pharmacist told me my prescription would be ready at 3:30, I arrived at 3:20 pm to find that the pharmacy and store was closed. Me and other individuals looked at the boarded up doors in disbelief. Not a courtesy phone call to let us know that urgently needed medication would not be available. When I called the pharmacy, the person answering essentially told me that I was out of luck until tomorrow. It's umbelievable. Walgreens doesn't care if u need medications. Pharmacy is reckless. Consistently gets insurance info wrong resulting in denials that cause lapses when everything is approved. Night pharmacist gives actual bad medical advice and messes up basics causes medical issues. Underfills prescriptions and tells you it's because of insurance months later when it's not. Will not answer phone. Rarely has the right stock. Has literally told a diabetic to wait 3 days for things. read more
