I I've been using their services for a number of years, and I'm on a first-name basis with the staff, including Tatiana and Elyssa. There's a reason for that: they treat me like a human being rather than just another number. I understand people can be cranky when they need their medication, but many pharmacies and pharmacists I've dealt with can make you feel like they're doing you a favor. I have a bona fide medical condition, and my medication is not a favor. Tatiana and Elyssa have never made me feel that way. They treat me with kindness, fairness, empathy, and compassion, and they go out of their way to accommodate me when they can. In a digital age where face-to-face business is becoming rare, it's refreshing to deal with real people who treat you like a real person. I genuinely appreciate the care and respect I've received here over the years. read more

Eliza and Janet are helpful. For their own protection, I'll guess, they require me to fill multiple unneeded medications so that they can fill my OxyContin. My doctor submits a "prior authorization"; otherwise, my 60 OxyContin would cost hundreds of dollars. read more

Great service from both the pharmacy and the clerk in the pharmacy shop - they carry a tone of personal and self care products from toothpaste to purse - allergy medicine to candles and even have some sales on seasonal items as well as clearance items. The pharmacist and pharmacy techs are super personable and greet you even if you're not filling or picking up a prescription. I stopped in to grab a light snack and some refreshments after having some blood work done and stocked up on some cold beverages including some cbd water. The door to the cold bottles and cans sticks so it took me a while to close it back lol... Just about ever shelf in the shop lists to ask for assistance so I wasn't sure if I could pick up anything, but asked the salesperson at the man register and she said it was more than okay. I got a great candle for myself, but might have gotten a few more things as they have a 30% off sale for candles, diffusers and like items for Valentines day. Overall a welcome, warm and friendly pharmacy and shop, never too busy - which I love. My doctor is on the 4th floor so I hope to stop in again next time I'm there in a few months. Might consider getting my next booster shot here later this year out of convenience, my personal experiences plus all the great reviews from my fellow yelpers. read more

The won't ship to our clinic in Washington. It's unfortunate and they are the only pharmacy that we have work with across the country that won't ship to us since our lot is a multi-use lot and not zoned strictly commercial. All our vendors, our DEA license, state licenses, and business licenses all recognize our business address but Olympia Pharmacy will not. We are at a loss. read more

Worst experience I've had! The staff totally ignored us. I don't understand how they got good ratings, but I fell for it and went there and surprise! it was disester. Despite providing my doctor's prescription details--my name, surname, doctor's name, and the medication name--it was only found after I insisted! its not a joke! Also, my husband has a language barrier, but he fully understands English. The lady working there was so mean to him. LADY, you were mumbling, and you can't expect someone to understand what you're saying when you mumble and look down on them. I don't know her name, but she was the bossy one with short black hair and black glasses.(you know who you are) You need to explain things to people, okay? You need to communicate with customers! I called this place two times to confirm that they take my insurance, for travelers vaccines. I was specific with them about what insurance I have, and where I am traveling to. Both times, the person I spoke to said yes they will take my insurance; I had spoken to two different people and they said I would be fine. I then drive an hour to this location, to be told none of my vaccines are covered or even partially covered by my insurance, and that I would have to pay around $400 for three vaccines. I did not appreciate not only being lied to, but the workers not owning up to their mistake when I had mentioned that I was given the wrong information and how this wasted my time. I must say that I had a great and sincere experience here today. After receiving my shot I felt nauseous and dizzy. Pharmacy owners jumped right away to assist me and help me out. Tatiana and her Husband were so kind and professional, took me in the back office and let me lay down until I felt better, brought me sweets to bring my sugar back and were watching over me the whole time. Surprised the reviews for this place are so terrible. I've used it a few times and no feelings on it either way. But today, without me inquiring first, they texted to say that they were refilling a prescription and that my insurance had expired. I texted back a photo of my new insurance. When I arrived to pick up my prescription, they told me there'd been an issue with my coverage, how they had handled it, and said my prescription was ready. WHAT. Usually everything with health/health insurance is an ENORMOUS pain, but they identified a problem and fixed it before I even knew about it. read more

We repeatedly had very disappointing experiences at this pharmacy, and we will never return. Although the pharmacy appears to be owned and/or operated by medical professionals, Nurse Mr. Emil Borokhovich and Pharmacist Ms. Tatyana Borokhovich, the pharmacy does not appear to conform to professional medical standards. Every time I spoke with Emil B. or Tatyana B., I had the feeling that they were not being fully honest and that they were trying to "upsell" me and/or trying to sell me something that I did not need or want. Trust is the essential component of any relationship, and it is especially important in a relationship that involves medicine and medications. I took my father to this pharmacy after his doctors appointment, only because it was convenient for us. I refuse to ever go back, by far the worse customer service we have ever received. The staff and the owner Emil Borokhovich were extremely disrespectful to my father and I. This pharmacy has no customer service skills, unprofessional, and dishonest. They switched my fathers prescriptions so they can bill us out of pocket without the approval of his doctor. This is absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by any patient. Ive had mostly great experiences here except when trying to fill a C2 a few days early during an holiday (which is understandable given the state of american medicine) or once when a former doc called in an incorrect quantity (not the pharm's fault!) Further; Tatiana, Josh and most of the other team members are pretty damn great at customer service, being upfront about what they can and can't do, and great at being empathetic & both business/customer oriented. Ive been a patient here for about 3-4 years. They are running a great business, and seem to have a low turnover for the professionals. When was the last time CVS kept a pharmacist in West Hollywood for longer than three months? Lastly, Ive read reviews that proclaim that this place is racist against folks and leverage employees following them or offering assistance as a sign of racism. I can attest, as a white man who is relatively masculine, that the managers and employees have done the same to me including offering discounts, being right on top of me offering assistance, and insisting they can give me a better deal to transfer my monthly 'scripts to them. I've also had to wait in line, deal with a sassy latina, etc. so this place is not racist: given that they handle expensive medications, controlled medications, expensive and good quality hygiene products, JEWELRY, and even some good brand name toys for the kids... I'd expect this level of customer service. Ive never seen a pharmacy with so many great products!!!! Customer Service, yes, can be guised as racism. It is not inherently racist, however, to offer service and keep track of customers in a pharmacy of this quality; also, who in their right mind would holller "racism!!!!" After being offered a bloody discount?! One review here said that they were upset for having to wait for five minutes :-( And that CVS does a better job LMAO; CVS doing a better job? Worst Pharmacy ever! I started coming here because my insurance company had a beef with Cedar Sinai and broke their deal, mid year I was forced to choose another primary care provider and my new doctor ended up being upstairs from this place. I came here to get a one time prescription refilled, and was talked into by the girl at the counter to transfer all my meds here, as they would deliver it automatically every month just as I would get through the internet system provided by Blue shield. I was promised 1) free delivery, 2)automatic refill every month and delivered to my door 3) nothing would change, and I won't need to do a thing. Well... their story changes really quick once you started going there. They always have an excuse why your meds wasn't delivered as it was promised, it's either the insurance company's fault, or the doctor's office's fault... just never takes responsibility - oh shit we goofed, let me fix that for you right a way. No... it's always someone else. And every month, we do the same song and dance. It was annoying as hell, but I put up with it due to reason unknown, until one day, I noticed that they started charging me for delivery fee, I called and only have the girl on the other end of the phone YELLING at me back.... So apparently they changed their policy, you only get 1 free delivery a month, and that was their 2nd delivery because they FUCKED UP the first time, and forgot one of my meds, so this would count the 2nd delivery, hence I was charged. I'm like, uhm... how am I being punished for your fuck ups? Long story short, I threw a fit back at the girl who was rude on the other end, demanded to talk to someone else who has more communication skillz, and got the charge reversed. Fast forward to months later, I was charged a delivery fee, I called to complain, and they took it off... mind you I have a credit card on file, and I just happened to notice that I got charged for the month, god knows how long they've been charging me. I don't know why I keep going back there... Today i was charged yet again another delivery fee, I called, again... now they told me that their policy changed and that delivery is no longer free, period. I'm so tired of them by this point, and I just said ok, and hung up. Yep, time to find another pharmacy. This place has no customer service skills, unprofessional, unorganized, and frankly I don't know how it stay in business since 2007. read more

I have tried this pharmacy many times because it's right below my doctors office. When I'm in an urgent rush to get something filled, I go here. Nearly always they try to get me to transfer all of my monthly and recurring prescriptions over before they will fill anything else. They have a bad attitude behind the pharmacy desk. Totally opposite in the gift shop: the women run this couldn't be more friendly, with professionalism. Their stock is gorgeous and has a lot and unique gift items. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the gift shop. For pharmacy needs, I would highly recommend you go elsewhere or suffer the pain and consequences of having to deal with their staff. read more

Never have we had the type of first class service we've received at Olympia Plaza. Josh is incredibly kind and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful, from making recommendations to working with our insurance directly to having our regular prescriptions ready prior to our arrival. I went here because it was convenient to my DR's office (same building). I filled two prescriptions here. One of them needed authorization from the Dr and they said they will either mail it to me or deliver, so I said 'fine'. Almost a week goes by....nothing...So today I called them and the person that answered the phone said that insurance was pending. So I said, you mean it's been sitting here for almost a week and you tell me that you haven't even processed it yet. They said that I needed an auth from the Dr which I got and you still haven't gotten the insurance stuff taken care of? after a week? she puts me on hold and comes back and says that the insurance was down.... put me on hold, came back and said ok - it's cleared. So I said mail it to me. She puts me on hold then comes back to tell me there is a $10 fee for mailing. WHAAAATT???? you offered to mail it to me or deliver and never mentioned costs....afterwhich you made me wait a week and IIIIIII had to call you to check what was going on? You've got to be kidding me! I told the girl that they were ridiculous and hung up! They tried calling me back (I didn't answer).... I'm ranting because this has got to be the WORST experience I've had with a pharmacy. So unprofessional and just plain rude! I won't pick it up. I don't need that medication that bad! Went into this pharmacy only because it is inside the same medical building as my doctor's office. I thought great, how convenient! But the moment I walked into the place I started getting weird vibes. So I drop off my prescription and my insurance card and the guy tells me I don't have pharmacy/prescription coverage on my medical plan. I said, that's ridiculous, I absolutely do! So he says, well okay I need call them to verify, so I think great, I will just wait and everything will be fine. Then he tells me he called the insurance company but they're closed. Really? United Healthcare doesn't have 24 hours assistance? You're full of shit, I know they aren't closed at 4 PM on a Wednesday. So he says, let me try again. (?) So then i'm casually walking about the store (which also sells candles and gifts and such), and a young girl (Eastern European or something) walks over to me and says "Not sure if they told you but the candles are 20% off." I'm like, um, k thanks? I mean, I am only meandering through the store while they are trying to get my insurance info and fill my prescription, not to purchase anything else. Then ten minutes later I am standing in a another part of the store waiting, basically just staring into space and the same girl comes over, "Oh, the lunchboxes are 15% off." I was like COOL, I am only here for prescriptions, I don't need a lunchbox! So it was clear they were trying to get me to buy something, so awkward. So at this point, I think to myself, I have to get out of here, weird vibes and I can just easily take my script to Target like usual, and I don't want to have to come back to this place where there is no parking anyway. So then I went over to the pharmacy counter and said, I'm just going to take my prescription somewhere else, thank you. And he says, "well, you might as well just wait because you're going to have the same issue somewhere else." And I said, "give me my prescription back please." Then one of the pharmacists said," we can just run it without your insurance and then deliver it to you tomorrow." I said "NO, please just give me my prescription back, thank you," which eventually they did. So then I remembered that the parking structure was cash only and my doctor said they validate with a purchase, and plus they have signs that say so. So I made the mistake of asking at the main register (same girl from earlier) if they have a minimum purchase for validation because I knew I didn't have any cash. So she says, "20 minutes validation w/prescription filled or full validation with $10 purchase." So at this point I was like, I am just going to buy something for $10 so they will validate. Fine. So I put some items on the counter and all of a sudden this same girl who tried to sell me candles and a lunchbox says, "we only do 20 minutes of validation." I was like, THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU JUST TOLD ME LIKE NO LESS THAN 10 SECONDS AGO!" She did NOT want to validate my parking. I was so angry at this point I challenged her on it like 3 times before I realized that it was pointless. So I left that place telling them loudly that their pharmacy was fucking weird and that they need to get their shit together! (Then I had to go back in and use their shady ATM to get cash so I could get out of the parking structure!). AWFUL experience, DO NOT get your meds filled there, they are so shady! read more

Horrible, racist store. If you are a person of color do not shop here. I am a black woman who was visiting my doctor on the 5th floor when I stopped in here to use the ATM. After getting my money I turned to see the cashier standing beside me telling me she would ring me up for a bottle of juice I had in my hand. It put a weird taste in my mouth but I walked over and purchased the juice. After I walked out I realized that I'd forgotten to get a vitamin I needed so I went back in. I was looking over the vitamins when I heard her over my shoulder asking me if I needed anything. Now there were several other people in the store and it felt odd that she just seemed to be following me around the store so I said to her - "Are you following me?" To which she said "Yes, the owner said to follow you. And I was like "Why are you singling me out when there are 5 other people here?" It became very clear from her response and odd shuffling that she was following me because I was the only black person in the store. I asked to speak to the owner and she was unapologetic. Their behavior was not only unacceptable but inappropriate and, as I had a brace on my ankle from my recent doctor visit, completely ridiculous. Had they wanted to chase me down it would have been easy in my condition. I shouldn't have to say this but I will. I have 2 masters degrees and have taught on 2 continents. I've never stolen anything in my life and the implication that I would which was evident from their conduct, left me feeling dehumanized and demoralized. I will never visit this pharmacy again. If you are a person of color do not subject yourself to this kind of treatment. read more

Horrible experience! I normally go to CVS for my prescriptions, but my doctor of several years is in the same building as this pharmacy and he called in an antibiotic for me to pick up. Issue 1: My doctor called in the prescription the day before and confirmed the order when I went to see him. When I ran down to the pharmacy to pick it up (after waiting a very long time to actually get some help) - I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes or so. What? Why wasn't it ready? Whats the point of the doctor calling in a prescription the day before if I have to sit there for 20 minutes while the pharmacist treats it like a order that was just dropped off? Issue 2: It gets worse: When I went to pay for the order the price I was given was literally hundreds of dollars - it was no where near what I was expecting. When I inquired as to the cost - I was told insurance doesn't cover this medication, but I never gave the pharmacy my insurance information. When I mentioned this I was again told "well insurance doesn't cover this". What's frustrating is that I never seemed to get a straight answer from anyone there. Did they even have my current insurance info? Did they somehow get my insurance records from my doctor? Did they even TRY to run the prescription through the insurance? Who knows? I've never heard in all the years I've had Blue Shield of them not at least covering some part of an antibiotic. It's an ANTIBIOTIC for God's sake - we're not talking about some wrinkle cream??! The people at the pharmacy were not helpful in any way. They seemed to take ZERO interest in seeing me get my medication. Issue 3: When I attempted to purchase the mediation through my medical FSA card.. MORE PROBLEMS. Only partial payment went through.. and this caused a cascade of other issues I won't get into here. I will say that at one point when I asked the (main?) pharmacist (a dark haired woman with an Eastern European accent) if I could make some kind of payment arrangements for the remainder of the balance she was extremely dismissive - and made it clear she had no interest in dealing with me. It's humbling to ask for help. And no one at the pharmacy was under any obligation to help - to go above and beyond... but they could have. They had that choice. Instead they chose to take the "its not my problem' approach. I wouldn't even by a stick of gum there. read more

I came on to write a raving review about this wonderful boutique feeling pharmacy, and I am shocked by the negative reviews! Really people?? Who has the time or energy to do that? I barely have the time to write a review when I BLOWN AWAY by amazing "service" but I just had to take the time to say how I felt about this place. I have to say, I was a little disappointed when my Doc office moved from Sunset in WeHo to Wilshire, but this pharmacy totally makes up for it. The customer service is like I have NEVER received from the big chain pharmacies! I come in every other month and the pharmacists literally call me by my first name. Hell, they will even call you the next day and ask how you are feeling!!! Who does that!!?! When it's time for my regular meds to be filled, they call me and ask when would be a convenient time to have my meds DELIVERED TO MY HOME!! Who does that?!?! They are amazing!!! I went in yesterday with a "rash" and of course was FREAKING OUT! Lol Josh, one of the pharmacists there talked to me privately, calmed me down in such a caring and concerned way, let me know that he could completely understand my concerns, but assured me that I would "absolutely be just fine" ... I love their genuine concern for us patients. I love their attention to detail and never seeming too busy to answer all my crazy questions. Ha Also, I love the boutique feel because you never have to wait more than 10 minutes to have a med filled, and while you wait you don't feel like you are SURROUNDED by germs like at Walgreens or CVS.
