I was surprised to learn that select Walgreens stores offer a comfortable environment for specimen collection by Labcorp, which is located near the pharmacy area inside Walgreens stores. Last week, I had a bad experience with my regular goto Labcorp in Miami Beach when they closed their office to the public for several days without telling the patients! All because their a/c didn't work, which is understandable. Although I had a bona fide appointment with them on 08/11/25 and they have all of my information, they never called me to let me know that their office was closed. I found out after I drove all the way to their office on the 5th floor and found a note on their door that they were closed. I called them several times that day and left messages as they requested but they never called me back to this day. I called their corporate office and I was informed that I could go to this Walgreens for Labcorp testing. So that's why I drove all the way to this Walgreens location so that I could get my bloodwork done before I see my specialist next week. Unbelievable. On to the good part! I was very impressed with Yudit, the Labcorp Tech, who performed my blood work. Not only does she have a nice personality, but she also inserts the needle without any pain to my arm whatsoever! I didn't realIze that she was already drawing blood. She gets 5 stars from me. The process was quick and I was out of there. Thank you, Yudit! The reason for 4 stars is because I had a confirmed appointment here and still had to wait a half hour before my name was called to go in. The waiting room was packed, people sneezing and coughing next to each other in a small space. I hope I don't get sick. There were 2-3 lines of people waiting to pick up their prescriptions. Then you have the walk-ins for Labcorp adding to tje count. There were not enough seats available either. Some of the walk-ins were loudly upset because they had been waiting for over 2 hours to be called. I told a couple of them to set up an appointment on the Labcorp website to avoid the long waits. They didn't know that they could do that. So hopefully that helps in the future. Maybe management can take a look at the situation for a better way to handle it all. I do appreciate that Walgreens gives space to Labcorp to perform this very important function. It really helped me out. There is a large parking lot for customers as well as several handicap spots in front of the store. read more

The only benefit to this Walgreens is that I got a 5k walking here back and forth. Two stars is being generous, because this wasn't the first time that there' was something not in stock. The first time was about a year ago when my mom's eye drops after her surgery were out of stock. I dropped her prescription up after the ophthalmologist; went to work to pick them up in the evening. 830pm when she needed to put her drops, alas the drops were out of stock. I had to drive to the Brickell location to pick them up and take them to Mima. Today it was my turn; I had to pick something up that the dermatologist sent me. I walked over to get my fitness, walk in past their multiple empty shelves and stand in their slow line. Alas, my prescription is not available and won't be until two days later. Thankfully it's not a critical prescription but a two day delay is not a good look. read more

This is my first time visiting this Walgreens location. I had to stop here for to grab a pack of baby wipes for my son. The outside of the building is a bit dirty but maybe it's because it's an old building. The inside of the store is very typical. Customer service was average .. nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about either. read more

The people working in the pharmacy of Walgreens in Miami are inconsistent in the information they provide and unable to make medication available in a timely manner despite having more staff than other pharmacies. What is really shocking is how they interact with customers who seemed used to their behavior. They will raise their voice and speak in a condescending manner. For example, when asking for the next customer, they'll say "come!" loudly. They ignore the other person speaking entirely or speak over them. They toss the medication on the counter and walk off. There seems to be a culture of behavior that is unacceptable anywhere else. They appear to behave this way with impunity and remain unafraid of complaints. Honestly, it's shocking to see people behave this way, especially in their place of work. Sadly, the vast majority of the people who visit this pharmacy (and possibly in Miami in general) do not speak English and may not feel they can advocate for themselves. Many of them are old also. It's tragic to see people treat the elderly, disabled, and sick in this manner. read more

I have been trying to speak with someone about my prescription for two days, but no one has helped. Each time I call, someone answers only to immediately put me back on hold. Yesterday (8/26/24), I was left on hold for 68 minutes before I finally had to hang up. Today, the same thing happened--they picked up the phone, mumbled something, and then immediately put me on hold again. This is utterly unacceptable customer service and shows a complete disregard for my well-being. I'm calling because my medication is of the utmost importance to me, and my call deserved to be taken seriously. I am upset, angered, and I WILL DEFINITELY BE TRANSFERRING MY PRESCRIPTION REFILLS FROM THIS PHARMACY AT 1695 NW 20TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33142 IMMEDIATELY. I also plan to send an email to corporate and post a Google review because I want everyone to know about the treatment I received. Now I understand why the overall rating is so low. The manager on duty Ron had closed the bathrooms for no reason in front of me while there was someone using the bathroom and he waited until they came out the bathroom and said he lock it up so I could not use the bathroom a customer that's coming to buy stuff from Walgreens And for the reason I just felt disrespected and left never coming to the store again I strongly recommend everybody else to do the same. I waited 30 minutes standing in for a prescription refill I had ordered 72 hours prior. People were standing in line 8 deep. The drive-thru was backed up as well. Icing on the cake - my prescription was not even refilled. Stay away from this place. Terrible service and staff!!!!! read more

One of the worst Walgreens I've ever set foot in. I just needed some water and beef jerky and I was hounded by 3 different people for money. Also I needed to use the restroom but I could smell it a few feet away from the door, no I did not enter. Is 1:08 June 4,2020 I just when in looking for a mask with all this going on . Two employees tell me they can sell me nothing if am not wearing a mask . Ahhh am going to Walgreens because you sell the mask I need !!!! Seriously what's the point I know we need mask to go in but I need one I don't have one. You have to wear a mask if you are sick . We went this morning to fill a prescription and the pharmacist was horrible. #1 his English was terrible, #2 his attitude was worst! - I've been faithful to Walgreens for years and never felt so badly serviced until today. He wasn't even wearing appropriate pharmacist clothes and was the entire time on a personal phone call without acknowledging there were customers waiting. Walgreens across the country should be consistent with their training, making sure no matter where, customers leave happy. What a horrible experience. Best place to grab something you're in need of in Allapattah, especially late night. Service is friendly, although it can be slow when the lines get backed up. Definitely on the smaller side for a drugstore, but I have found it to carry everything I ever needed from a Walgreens. read more
