Another Win at Ideal Image Midtown…read more This is my second visit to Ideal Image Midtown. The first time was for Botox (which, by the way, still has me looking great over a month later). This time, I took a more adventurous route with laser hair removal. I decided to target some stubborn neck areas that itch terribly when I grow out my beard, and the back of my neck which always ends up making my haircuts look messy within a week. At first, I wasn't sure if I needed something as permanent as laser, but the constant annoyance made me think--why not? It's permanent, and this is a reputable place. This visit mirrored my previous experience: smooth, friendly, and professional. Although D wasn't there, I was warmly greeted by Gabby and Raluca, the Manager. Check-in was fast and I was offered water, coffee, and a bathroom break right away. I went with coffee (and as a Miami local--I approve). Melissa performed the laser treatment, assisted by Marissa. The room was clean and comfortable, and we got right down to business. They gave me laser-protective glasses that honestly made me feel like X-mens Cyclops. They warned me it might hurt--and I'm glad they did! I didn't expect it to sting, but hey, it is a laser. I opted out of the numbing cream, so shoutout to both Melissa and Marissa for being patient, reminding me to breathe, and making it a surprisingly quick and efficient experience despite my need for occasional breaks. After the treatment, they applied cold aloe which felt amazing. There was some redness --nothing dramatic to the naked eye. The whole thing took under 30 minutes. Honestly, you could come in for laser and Botox on your lunch break and be back in time. Highly recommend Ideal Image Midtown. Getting there was fairly easy with the hotels validated valet parking. Fair warning though, with all the construction happening around the Grand Hotel right now, finding your way to the spa lobby is a bit of a crapshow (literally). But it's no fault to Bamboo so once I made it to their suite, the salon smells made up for the route there. The front of the salon is all the hair, nails and feet. In the back they have three head spa beds set up in the treatment area. Without hesitation I quickly changed to their wrap and was ready to go. My scalp, head, neck, and shoulders got the kind of attention I honestly should have been giving them years ago. The massage, facial and head wash was incredible, hands down everything I expected. I upgraded to the deep conditioning treatment and added the hair oil, with all the working out I'm doing I've been seriously neglecting my tresses. Kelly took super good care of my service and was simply wonderful. She was attentive, very thorough and made the experience feel relaxing from beginning to end. I also really like the location in Edgewater, the valet parking, and the fact that it's usually easy to book an appointment without scheduling weeks ahead. Another huge plus for me is their cancellation policy -- you can cancel up to 2 hours before, which is honestly amazing and super convenient with a busy schedule. The spa itself is clean, relaxing, and they have many specialists available. You can tell they care about creating a comfortable experience. Definitely one of the places I keep coming back to.

It literally called me like 3x a day prior to my appt as well as daily after my facial and at some point I had to block the number it was annoying. They will try to sell a membership but I'm not sold by the experience unfortunately. I'm sure this is a great place for others but not for me, I just happen to live in the area.
