I've done business with Walgreens all over the country because I travel for work for years. But I send my prescriptions to this Walgreens and they said they don't wanna order it because they were high volume and other people already get that prescription. I don't know why they just can't order an extra one like all the other Walgreens do so they said they would fill one of my other prescriptions in two days so they called me today and said my prescription was ready so I drove 45 minutes to get there And they have a sign that says temporary closed for power outage. Even though all the lights are on and there's employees in the store, they shouldn't have called me and said to come get my prescription. very unprofessional Walgreens. Edit: I came back 2 days later and first the girl tells me they don't have anything for me. Then the pharmacist tells her something and she goes to look it up again. Then the pharmacist tells me when it sits on the shelf to long they have to put it up. I tried to say something about the power being out and he got rude and says sit over there and wait if i still want it. Mind you i came the day before the light issue and they said it wasn't ready. So i said yes i want it, Ive already been here three times for it. So here I am waiting. I understand they are a busy store but that doesn't give them a pass to be totally rude. Walgreens corporate, yall need to help these people out if they cant handle the work load. Unless of course you don't care about your customers. Actually thought they were getting better in the pharmacy but nope. You call in a refill and the recording says when it will be done . Then you check your account only to find out they canceled it, so I call and talk to them only for them to say you don't have a refill which was incorrect on their part. So I'm supposed to call tomorrow to get my prescription started since they found out I have a refill. read more

The remodel looks wonderful, clean, bright, very well stocked, and usually friendly; but I was in there this last week and not so friendly, yet again. Since this is a recurring theme at the one in particular, just gonna send out a fair warning to all who shop there. Sarah, formerly sweet and helpful, has been in somewhat of a mood all summer it seems. Not friendly, would rather glare at you when you greet her, not all men who are nice to you are hitting on you, some of us were raised to be polite, especially to ladies. I know that I would not tolerate that type of attitude amongst my people, but apparently if you have an RBF, and an attitude to match, then you too can work at Walgreens across from the hospital. This place is deplorable! There is a lady/manager who thinks she is God. These photo people just told me I cannot print my personal pictures because they are from a professional and must require a release. They are NOT from a professional and I told her that and she refused to give me my photos - which are a gift for my Dad that I need to ship tomorrow!!!! What makes anyone think they know someone's business to tell me about MY photos! Now she has ruined my dads gift being shipped on time - on false information she knows nothing about! What a Merry Christmas! I am so upset and blown away - I want to write a bad review everyday! I will never go here again and customers beware- it's their way or you can't shop there!! This has to be the worst pharmacy ever. It's currently 4:41 PM, line is going back from pharmacy counter all the way back to the front of the store, and they have ONE EMPLOYEE working the counter. I have been in line over 40 minutes and still have 6 people ahead of me. Seriously, what genius member of management schedules only ONE employee to work the pharmacy counter at this time of day on a work day. Sad. read more

Im visiting Midland and became ill. I wemy to the urgent care and they called in a prescription to this horrible pharmacy. When we went over there they said to wait 15 minutes and then after 15 minutes they came back and said they can't do it because they are going to lunch and when I complained they said that by law they have to go to lunch. I called the dr I saw and told them they should never send anyone to that nightmare. They said they would move the prescription. We will see how this goes. My neighbor fell and hurt his knee this morning. We left the emergency room at 4:40 and drove directly to the Walgreens across the street from the hospital. It is Christmas Eve and the pharmacy was closing at 5:00. They were kind enough to fill a prescription for pain meds 10 minutes before closing. Had the young man working the pharmacy drive through turned us away my neighbor would have had to wait until after Christmas to get his pain meds. We are grateful we got the prescription filled at the last minute before the pharmacy was closing for Christmas. I hope the entire pharmacy department has a safe and wonderful Christmas. read more

Currently in line for my sons prescription, waited in line for 45 minutes, got told that it would be ready in 10 minutes and to drive around. Well here i am still in line another 30 minutes later. So total an hour & 15 minutes just sitting here. Never had to wait this long before for a common prescription read more

My 76-year-old father-in-law had a procedure done at the hospital. His surgeon wrote down what he would need, to dress the wound, like a prescription. My father-in-law stood in line, at the pharmacy, for 10 minutes, to get his dressings. When he got to the front of the line and asked someone behind the counter to help him, they simply pointed and said what you need is over there. They should have taken him and helped him get exactly what he needed! He didn't know what to get so he left the store empty-handed! read more

Prescription took longer than estimated time given, but seemed to have adequate staff.

Understaffed pharmacy (that's Midland/Odessa for you!). Told me prescription would be ready in 2 hours, and it wasn't ready after 3 hours of waiting. The next morning I called to see if the prescription was ready, and waited on the phone for over 20 minutes, and NO ONE answered. When more and more people are getting sick, they should really hire more people to handle the higher patient volume so people can take their meds in time. This Walgreens is more on the corner of "Unhappy." read more

This place is sad. Scrips never ready, no follow up, poor customer care, no consultations, late refills, usually after you run out, never even a responsible response.....sad, example of a pharmacy.
