I asked what I could do to have my medication ready on time and the pharmacist said that there is no way to ever make sure meds are finished as promised or on time due to lack of staff. I personally have never been followed around in the store and the associates I've encountered have always been courteous, pleasant, and nice. Maybe I just don't fit the type that they follow, or I just don't look suspicious, who knows. I love walking through the cosmetic section of Walgreens and looking for those orange clearance tags were stuff is slashed from the regular retail price! I love it and I often go spend a crazy even though the stuff is on clearance. Great deals to be had! After Christmas there's always a bunch of gift sets marked down, too.

She interrupted me, and I finished what I was saying. I asked her to come to the window. She did not. She could have gotten all the requested info from the drive-through window area. She got the info she asked for and then came to the window where she stated, "If you had asked me to come to the window, I would have." I did ask her. She just wanted to argue and give me a hard time all the while she HELD onto my debit card and prescription. Smh. I finally rolled up my window to stop her non-stop instigatative behavior. She got the point, and THEN she sent my card and prescription through the drive-thru window. I changed pharmacies. I admit I was not the model customer. It seemed she wanted to continue arguing because she held onto my card and prescription instead of simply sending it through the drive-through window. Within 2 days, I transfered my prescriptions elsewhere and filed a complaint. She is the heavy set brunette. Steer clear of her. You've been warned. The pharmacist on duty that day backed her up and was foul. If you can't handle a customer service job, leave. If customers don't like the service at Walgreens, don't shop there again. I won't.

What are the odds. Did you know the first point of sales credit card check out scanners were made by Verifone, a Hawaiian company back in 1981? I feel like that's been plenty of time for people to get used to them, but maybe I was just impatient. So I saw someone getting checked out at the photo counter (speaking of vestiges of 1981), she watched me walk up to the counter, finished the sales with the gentleman she was with (was he getting glossy prints from his Kodak Instamatic? Did you know that in 1981 Poloroid sued Kodak for copying their instant film idea? It took Poloroid 5 years in court to win that one), made eye contact...and left the counter! So, I had to return to the long line, which was now one person even longer. This wasn't the fault of the young lady working the counter, she was pretty efficient, patient and improbably cheerful. The store is clean, bright and typically stocked. Unlike CVS, they still sell cancer causing addictive drugs here, which I suppose is a positive if you still smoke but as an ex-smoker this really bothers me.

Appearance wise, my only real complaint is the squares have a somewhat anemic appearance as if they're too light in color. As far as taste, again think Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, bit with just a hint of cake flavor. I also found a purse. That I have previously bought from target that was the same brand but bigger and I bought it in brown. So when I seen this light green bag just much smaller like a fanny pack! I'm like this bag is so cute... so fast forward I get to the self checkout line after waiting in the line for a few minutes. And as I'm going past the self check out attending or (whatever they called) I see her take a look at what's inside my cart and side eyeing me which made me think she thought I was stealing and sure enough She walks up to me and tells me that she needs me to open the bag and I'm looking confused like you mean my purse?? Like what?? She's like no the bag that you're buying .. so I opened the bag and she takes out the paper and I asked her if I could have the paper back and she tells me NO AND how its " target policy that they have to remove the paper out of purses and how kids have been coming in to steal and pop the sensor tags of items and putting them in bags" so I instantly am confused because what does all that extra stuff you said have to do with anything!!! I called the store today and asked to speak with the manager. First, the lady did not identify herself, and was very rude sounding. Apparently she was the assistant manager, April. Based on her conversation, and the lack of concern in my issue, I will shop somewhere else for a while. I called to express my concerns about the pickup (only in evening/ night) not doing things properly, her response, "Well, i don't know. I will let corporate know." What? just talk to the employees in the department reminding them of the procedures. Any ways, we have other PNS in our area.

My close to 30 minute drive is worth the diligent attention I receive at the Greendale Walgreens. Andy, the lead pharmacist, is a wonder. We are his patients, and he pays close attention to what he dispenses and makes certain we understand our prescriptions. Whoever does the hiring here is brilliant. Every employee in the pharmacy is intelligent, helpful, and is a hard worker. They are so accommodating, I am sometimes embarrassed. Compared to two other Walgreens I tried closer to our home, the Walgreens on Loomis is an oasis in the desert. I thank them for taking care of my health and keeping my blood pressure down. I actually enjoy a trip to the pharmacy. Bravo!

I get home and there's no envelope. I call and I can drive back to get another one but again there's nothing they can do. Quality and customer service is severely lacking.
