This Walgreen's Pharmacy is either overcome with orders or they are either understaffed and have very negative service. They'll hand up on you and say your prescriptions aren't refillable until the Dr contacts them with approval and the Drs nurse will say we've called them, faxed them, emailed them and have gotten so frustrated with Walgreen's service. This is specifically for the photo center. I usually get my photos printed through online services but I had to get a passport photo and I decided to stop at this Walgreens. Alice at the photo center was absolutely amazing. I watched her kindly and skillfully juggle multiple guests. During my time there there was a sweet lady attempting to print photos of her family. Alice was so patient and kind to her, jumping between guests while answering any questions the sweet lady had. We should all strive to be like Alice. read more

A kind young gentleman, by the name of Remy, was incredibly pleasant (especially for someone having to work on Christmas Eve!!) He helped me in the photo department and that was the last piece I needed to complete my best friend's Christmas gift!! Without that photo, I would've had to have her open, the frame only, but now that the picture is in it... Thanks to Remy... I am positive as soon as she sees the photo in the frame, she will burst into tears of joy!! I like Walgreens... From time to time I will go here looking for a particular item, which they always seem to have & cheaper than Target or CVS. I like their selection, too. I've never used the pharmacy. I've never had any issues with the employees - even ones on the floor acknowledge me or speak & the ones at the register are always nice & friendly. Yeah, I love Walgreens. Especially this Walgreens. The Pharmacy is really awesome. I recently picked up a prescprition (for my husband) that literally the next day got shelfed from the FDA. Walgreens called me, sent me a letter and then refunded my purchase. Like $157--Not chump change, real money. This store is always clean, always has sales, and for those middle of the night errands--they have icecream too. Now, that might be more important than the pimple cream I just picked up. read more

I had an interesting experience here. The staff at this store is always super quick and really friendly, both in the pharmacy and at the front end. One day, though, I had a sinus infection, and went in with my paper Rx. I sat for really short time, probably less than 25 minutes. But while I was there, people were being SUPER RUDE to the techs. One lady was talking loudly on her phone about how slow they were going and how they were slacking off, and a man was complaining loudly. First of all, this was smack in the middle of flu season, and those techs were flying everywhere and working really hard. Second, they were being really nice and collected, even though I know they could hear these people. But the thing is, those people had arrived after me; they had been there MAYBE ten minutes. Anyway, the very polite tech got me my meds and I told her, loudly, that it wasn't her fault that people were rude and inconsiderate. I also proceeded to inform those people that there was a CVS across the street so they could go there and stop being whiny little... well, you know. Odd story for a review, perhaps. But my main point is that the staff here is always really helpful and friendly. read more

Some of the staff here are extremely rude. I'm talking rude to the point of looking at you but refusing to ask if you need assistance. It's a shame because this Walgreens use to be helpful and friendly. I understand that EVERYONE is bogged down, but that is no excuse for poor manners. Have had many many problems with this pharmacy. They never call to say if there is a problem with a script. They wait until you arrive. Tonight, had called in a refill, they said ready by 2pm. I arrive at 6, not ready. Insurance denied. I asked them to call again. I waited 25 min while they helped other customers, THEN called. The problem was they submitted 30 days, not 90. Because they didn't have a 90 day supply on site. After an hour and 15, finally left. I wish insurance had the option of CVS... or anyone. read more

Always give you a hard time about filling schedule 3's even with a new prescription. Wouldn't even dream of filling a schedule 2 here as after they were sued for 80 million in Florida they instituted a secret checklist for most schedule 2 drugs. That includes calling your doctor to question the prescription. Ask if other methods of treatment were used before this,asking how long treatment will be,requesting the doctor to lower your dose without knowing your charts,becoming hostile when any counts exceed 120 in 30 days time.If you have to fill any scheduled drugs Walgreens and other large chain pharmacies is not the place to do it read more

The worst pharmacy ever!!! They can never fill the prescription in time. The pharmacist and his/her team isn't trained to handle peak hours. Even in non peak hours one has to wait 3-5 hours before they will fill your prescription. The sick person has no choice but to wait and avoid going to a new pharmacy. The pharmacy team doesn't care and is unapologetic. The corporate needs to have a closer observation of this location. read more

Very unorganized pharmacy. They never seem to know what prescription they are supposed to be filling regardless of how clear you are. Then you wait at the drive-thru for 20 mins only to be told it'll be ready later today. I asked to have a manager personally call me when it was finally ready.....the automated system called me and I never even saw or spoke to a manager when I went to pick up my medicine. read more

Oh not a fan of this location. I use to work for this company. But the mooresville/ river hwy location is always super busy. The employees are not friendly or helpful. I have twice had a tech lie to me about prescriptions. The only reason I know this is because I worked as a pharmacy technician part time for almost 4 years. Here's the thing about this location. They are open 24/7 and they always have the meds I need when my regular pharmacy is sold out. That gives them three, maybe even four stars but the service is lacking. There is one person in particular, an employee in the pharmacy who is not friendly, welcoming or even slighty warm. She makes me want to give this place two stars. She recently told me my rx wasn't ready and to leave (her words) b/c it would be at least another 20 minutes KKit had already been close to an hour.) I left and I kid you not, as soon as I pulled into traffic on 150 and was one light away, my phone beeped and I got a text saying my order was ready. I just left it till my hubby would pass by on his way home rather than deal w/the headache of 150. B/c the staff is so unfriendly, I keep my meds at RiteAid and only come here when forced to. read more

I went here for a covid test and went inside and asked the girl at the front if they did them and if they required appointments. She was nice and said yes they test at the drive thru and i made sure to ask if they required appointments because i did not have one. She said no you don't need an appointment so I continued on to the drive thru where I waited for 40 minutes just for the worker at the window to tell me i needed an appointment. He then continued to ask who told me I didn't need one and I described the girl to him. I was not really upset until he came back with an attitude telling me the girl says she didn't talk to anyone about covid testing. I wouldn't make it up and wait in a long drive thru line. I am just saying they should be more educated up front to give truthful information and own up to their mistakes. I wouldn't have been mad at all if she didn't know and asked someone else. And I wouldn't have been as frustrated if the window worker didn't come back with an attitude saying "she says she didn't talk to anyone" as if I was lying. I should've told him to check the cameras to see me walk in there 40 minutes prior to ask, since that's how long the drive thru took. read more

Worst pharmacy ever... This is the third time I have dropped off prescriptions in the morning and specifically said I needed them by early afternoon. Well, again go by there and nothing has been filled. Really? I even made a comment that the pharmacy was dead that morning. Not one person was in there, and only one car in the drive-thru! Also, people in the pharmacy are beyond rude! Came here to get my medicine filled and they said 15 or 20 minutes. An hour and half later I finally got it. I would understand if there was a lot of people in there but it was me and one other person. If you ever need a prescription filled go to Cannon Pharmacy. TERRIBLE pharmacy customer service... I was looking to change out my current pharmacy because I thought that that my old pharmacy was lacking in customer service. As it happened I was in need of a prescription immediately and went to my old pharmacy, but they were out of my prescription in tablet form and could not fill the prescription as written. So off I go to find another pharmacy that could. I stopped at another nationwide pharmacy and was told the same thing, that they could not fill the prescription in tablet form. So off I go again. I stopped at the Walgreens on River Hwy. in Mooresville,.and was told by one the techs (I believe his name was Steve, but I may be wrong on the name) that yes, they could fill the order. I told him that I wanted to switch pharmacies and he said no problem. He entered all my personal info and health insurance into their database and it would be no problem. (I was one of only 2 people waiting for a prescription at the time). After waiting 1 hour (yes, I sat there for an hour and watched at least ten other people get their orders filled. Steve had sporadically checked for my order three times and apologized that it was not ready each time (He was working the counter and the drive thru). Finally, I walked up to the counter and loudly said in front of a couple customers that were waiting along with me, "Why am waiting over an hour for my prescription that needed to be filled?!". It was one prescription for 45 tablets. Everyone in the pharmacy department stopped and looked at me. Finally, NICK who was the one that was supposed to get my order filled, looked over and his faced turned red and his hands started shaking and he began filling my order from start to finish. Why he waited an hour to do this has me perplexed. He was obviously very irritated. Well, I got my order and asked for the name of the person who filled my order (Nick). I finally got home ( after waiting almost 75 minutes for my one prescription) and opened my script to find out that they had filled the order with capsules instead (remember, two other pharmacies would not fill the order because it was for tablets and they were not in stock). So I tried to call Walgreens, but could not get through, with the phone message saying they were busy filling orders. Called Walgreens corporate and spoke with a friendly customer representative named Casey (sp?) who told me my concerns would be forwarded to upper management and the manager of that particular store (whose name i was told was Margaret) I thanked her for her attention. An hour later, i received a call from a person named RAY, who said HE was the manager and that there was no Margaret (what?). He then proceeded to tell ME, that the script was for capsules. I told him two other stores would not fill it because they only had the capsules in stock. I then asked him WHY it took so long and why had NICK IGNORED my order for almost an hour? He did not want to address that issue and insisted on talking over me on the phone and not addressing the waiting issue. RAY was VERY rude to me and very unprofessional as a manager that works in customer service. It sure seemed he only interested in covering for his employee and himself and not working out a solution to this particular situation. Very sad that Walgreens has employees that act like this. I am presently waiting on a phone call from corporate to find out why I was treated this way. AVOID Walgreens on River Hwy in Mooresville,NC! read more

The store gives you a hard time when you try to gdet them to obey their own corporate policy of price matching from competitors. They do not advertise a price match policy but they have one to compte against Walgreens, Target and WalMart but will give you a hassle if you try to get them to do it. Walgreens offers a $25 gift card if you transfer a prescription to them online or in person. Online they give a verification of the transfer and you print it off them give it to the cashier when you pick up your Rx and they give you the card. No coupon because you have the online transfer verification. CVS will not honor that as a competitor's offer because they will say that you have to show them a coupon even though the corporate policy is to match ANY offer be it adveryised, unadvertised, coupon or sale. This particular store manager was clueless. She did not even know CVS had a price match policy. The pharmacist refused to honor it even though she was the one that informed me of it to begin with. It is better customer service to go to neighborhood drug stores if your insurance allows it rather than chains like CVS and Walgreens. WalMart is cheap if you want to deal with going to that circus. read more
