Conveniently-located Walgreens for the local Morton Grove-ians, this particular location is right off of Dempster. The flyers of in-store specials are located right by the entrance, next to the baskets. The merchandise selection seems of a variety and well-stocked and neatly organized. We came here to get some last-minute toiletries, such as chap stick, face towelettes, etc. Locating items were easy, and the staff here are friendly and welcoming. Walgreens sucks !!!!!! Pharmacy staff does'nt have a sufficient staff.. when calling, they hang up or have you on a extemely long wait time. I could get on ride at disney world faster !!! I see shoppping lifting go on constantly and the staff and clerks reply " There's nothing we can do about it" They don't make any effort to control the people i've seen boosting merchandise, so i'm paying for these SHIT HEADS for over priced products. The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Doctor transmitted a common prescription and I went to pick it up about two hours after it was sent. After standing in line for 10 mins I was told it was filled but had to be reviewed by a pharmacist. They were going on dinner break and couldn't have it available for another two hours. Several other people were waiting and they just left them sit and wait until dinner break was over. I've had similar experiences here and at other area Walgreens in the past. I will no longer fill any prescriptions using Walgreens. I'm sure this is a profitable part of their business but they don't staff it or treat their customers well. The people leaving reviews here are hard to please. It's a Walgreens. There are never going to be a dozen people working at the same time. You may have to wait in a line longer than you'd like, especially if someone ahead has questions or problems with their prescription or insurance. If you see eight cars in the drive thru line, come back at a different time that is not lunch/rush hour. The pharmacy is open late. If this Walgreens and staff are really this awful, switch to one of the other ten Walgreens in the area. You'll probably still find something to complain about, though. The problem probably isn't even the Walgreens anyway... We went to pick up medicines for my daughter (who had some problems with her skins). They had is waiting for us when we got there. Absolutely negligent pharmacy. Went in for a covid test and was quoted 24-36 hours by pharmacy tech. 48 hours later still no results was then informed (after being on hold 17 minutes) that it will actually take 72 hours and weekends don't count! Every other location I've been to for testing has either done rapid tests and given me results within 10 minutes or gotten me results in 24 hours including the WEEKEND. The tech did not provide accurate information impacting my ability to feel comfortable engaging in my community. read more

Malvika is a very hard worker who has never failed to assist us or take care of our needs. She always helps us find the best prices for our prescriptions, checks for drug interactions, gives injections, does consultants. Best pharmacy ever. They didn't have my prescription so they called the closest pharmacy to find one for me. I was having early contractions so I needed them asap. Two of the pharmacist called a couple different stores for me. Now that's customer service. I wish I got their names, but they were two Indian ladies. Very nice and I appreciate them so much. I have been getting my Medicare Part D drugs through Walgreens using their automatic refill service for maintenance drugs. Walgreens sent me an email saying a refill on one of my prescriptions would be ready 10/19/19. The online page and the label on the bottle said this drug was refillable 2x until 1/1/20. On 10/19/19 with 2 pills remaining, I got an email that there was an insurance problem. On 10/20/19, I went to the store to discuss the problem with the pharmacist. I was then told the original prescription was more than a year old and had expired and they were unable to refill. Clearly this was contrary to the information on the bottle and on their website. I asked for the pharmacy manager to call me on 10/21/19 when she came in. No one has called me to sort this out and my pills ran out 10/20/19. Written 10/22/19. read more

She was very patient, made sure to take a quality photo, and performed all the steps needed at the kiosk to print out the needed pic. Worst customer service both in the store and the pharmacy. Everyone has an attitude when you ask a question, and if you ask a follow up question? They can't be bothered. I've gotten attitude, I've gotten condescending behavior and I've had staff quite literally walk away from me when I've asked something. It's unacceptable. This has been a convenient location for me to go to, but I would rather go out of my way to go to a location where they treat customers with some dignity instead. read more
