Want to give a shout out to the Pharmacy located at the corner of Newbridge Road and North Jerusalem Ave. They were able to get my mail ordered medications transferred over. They were also a pleasure to deal with. The young lady who helped me was friendly and attentive. read more

Take a walk inside this pharmacy, stroll to the back, and you will see a large line of disgruntled pharmacy, customers, waiting for help with their prescriptions. What day did this happen? Pick a day that ends with a Y. This is about the worst pharmacy experience you will have, and sadly all of us are now beholden to this Walgreens because our prescriptions require us to send our 90 day needs there. Most of us were consolidated to this location in North Bellmore after the East Meadow store, roughly 2 miles away closed. It had been reduced to very poor service as well due to skeleton-crew staffing. There are very few people working at this location now, so it's obviously a recipe for disaster. I don't recommend you needing to be helped quickly. What a joke, when many people are really in need of assistance; often at a rough time for them. read more

I am a person who spends money in a store like this because they are great sales however, the past few times I've gone to this location. There have been no restrooms available and so I've had to cut my trip shopping at Walgreens in half and not spend my money there unfortunately. read more

The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in over 40 years in this neighborhood. The Pharmacy routinely leave you on hold then disconnect the call to get rid of you. They take days to obtain meds when they are out of stock. At any hour there are 7 people on line to pick up medication because they are understaffed and play a game where only one clerk at a time takes a customer. Slowest poorest service I've ever experienced. I contacted their area pharmacy manager & all she did is make poor excuses for the lousy pharmacy service! CVS is so much better! read more

What a sad joke this place is. Prescription was called in this morning, no explanation as to why at 5pm their finally filling getting it done in a smaller size tube than requested. Kept calling during the day and this incompetent person answered the phone, who made no sense at all Finally I get there and they can't find my order. Mr. Incompetent is running around looking for it bumping into the other clowns working there. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting my prescription was found. I asked the incompetent one if there was a problem earlier with the order cause it took all day. With a blank look he said "What"? Incompetentcy at its best. read more

They call you to call them, 17 minutes and after speaking to 3 people later you get a message that there is something wrong, try your call again later. You go there ant there are loads of people waiting and nobody is getting service at the counter. These people think that you have nothing else to do but to wait on them - no respect for customers time. read more

Not the best. Pre-registered for my COVID booster on the Walgreens site and got a text that my appointment was accepted. When I checked in at the pharmacy area, the tech (Jill) said there was a problem with their online system so I'd have to re-register manually. However instead of giving me the paper form she made several lengthy phone calls while I waited. Finally a male employee noticed I was still standing there and asked if I needed help, then promptly gave me the necessary form - while Jill was still chatting and laughing on her phone directly in front of me. By this time it was 40 minutes after my appointment time, the store was hot and crowded and I had to be somewhere else. So I asked for my vaccine card back so I could leave and get the booster another time and/or at another store. However Jill refused to return my card back to me (claimed that would be "a big problem"). Then the pharmacist came out and said he had to wait awhile for the vaccine to "warm up" before I could get my shot since I was the first one of the day. Obviously appointments mean less than nothing here! Since Jill kept my card hostage I had no choice but to wait, and finally got my booster over an hour after my appointment time. Turns out the whole pharmacy staff went to lunch together so they were backed up. Very unprofessional. In light of their rude condescending staff, incompetence, and long delays I will NOT be returning to this store for any more vaccines. read more

Horrible pharmacy. I understand being backed up and having to wait an extra day, but unless you go and ask to have it filled your prescription will not be ready. Hire someone or fix something because having a constant line because prescriptions aren't filled isn't right. read more

The Pharmacy is just horrendous. Prescriptions are rarely ready on time. You will spend 15to 20 minutes waiting on the phone to ask a question. You can also expect to wait on line for 15 to 20 minutes at the Pharmacy just to find out your prescription is still not ready. Do your self a favor and avoid this Pharmacy. Here I am, TWO HOURS into waiting for amoxicillin. You know, one of the most common medications in the world? Did I mentioned this particular location sent me to another location because they lied on the phone and said they had it when they very much didn't? Every. Freakin'. Time. I have a prescription to fill I'm told it's ready, I show up and it's not. Maybe if Walgreen's spent less time on ensuring their text, phone, email, smoke signal -based marketing was working to tell me my prescription was ready, they'd actually be able to fill them instead of staring at people like they have 10 heads when they express that two hours is too long of wait for something that was "ready for pickup." read more

I love the managers and many of the employees are really nice -- but one time I came to pickup medication for digestion and the cashier at the front was on his phone while ringing me up. It wasn't even like one of those scanner phones. It was really rude. I'm not leaving a bad star rating because of all the good at this place, but please don't be on your phone when you ring up customers. It's rude. read more

I've been going to this pharmacy for almost 8 years to get my epileptic son medication. It used to be nice and friendly when Frank was working there, now it's terrible, it's always a hassle to get my son medication. Majority of the times I've to come back twice for his medication due to the pharmacy don't have his monthly supply. It's becoming a habit for this pharmacy to give me 5 days, or 10 days supply for a 30 days medication. I never had a problem going back twice for his meds. What I do have a problem with that his pharmacy is charging me double the amount of copay for my son 30 day supply, 2 weeks ago I was there to uplift for my son medication, same story, this time I got 20 days supply of medication, I paid my copay which was $40. Came back yesterday the pharmacy charge me another $40 for 10 pills, let me make this clear, $40 is my monthly copay for this specific drug. It's not my fault this pharmacy didn't have the entire 30 days supply, so why do I pay to $80 dollars copay instead of $40?? My advice to others stay the hell away from this pharmacy. I'm will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I have a prescription that needs to be called in every month, no refills. Every time my neurologist calls it in, it is not processed. I try the store at different times over multiple days. You cannot get a live person. You get put on hold, then a ringing phone, someone picks up - you can here voices talking in the background, but you're thrown right back on hold. No live person. You go round and round with this for 20 - 60 minutes until someone gets tired of picking up the phone and hangs up on you. After days of this carousel, I then call corporate, get multiple apologies and it won't happen again. Sorry Walgreens, this was the third time, 3 strikes and you're out, I'm done. I don't have hours of spending on hold to never even get a live person, having to call corporate, be on hold all over again until someone finally pushes it through. It's not that you're out of the medication, a pharmacist just has to see the prescription and approve it. It doesn't take 4-7 business days for that to happen and only happen once I call corporate to complain. Have no idea why you closed the store in East Meadow that ran great and are sending everyone to this one. read more

I went the store today to pick up my medication at 1:50pm, did not know the pharmacy was close from 1:30 to 2:30, so I was very puzzled that they were closed for lunch(my thoughts 2 hrs?? )as I ask this to the rep that was putting things on the shelves - she rudely replied in a condescending voice to let me know they were closed from 1:30-2:30 pm:( These are the type of people you have service the public .. need to work on your customer service !!!!!!! read more

We stopped in this store for a few items after an unpleasant experience at another Walgreens earlier that day and what a difference! We were immediately approached by an associate named Arkedia (I hope the spelling is correct) and she definitely changed our opinion about Walgreens. She was very friendly, helpful, professional, and knew her stock and went above and beyond great customer service while helping us. She is a definite asset to your staff and will be the reason we will make purchases at your store again. read more

Went to pick up a few things. The people were helpful. Unfortunately I couldn't find the hair products that I was looking for. I also wanted to check my blood pressure and they did not have the arm cuff that you could Use in this store. Same as every other Walgreens. This is not a 24 hour store. Prices all over the store are super inflated as they are in CVS and Rite Aid. There seems never to be enough cashiers as is trend in all other drug stores. The good thing about this place is they do passport photos which is convenient. The employee that took the picture was very friendly and made my son very comfortable. The experience was easier than expected. The parking lot is small but there is always enough spaces. The location is great because it is on a corner so the parking lot has 2 exits. read more

Stopped in the other night to fill a prescription & the pharmacist told me to wait because she would fill it quickly. I walked away to go in search for the new Oreo marshmallow crispy cookies & before I even reached the aisle where the cookies are located, I heard over the intercom, "Lesley to the pharmacy please. You're prescription is ready." Wow. I shouldn't have even walked away. To my dismay, they didn't have the Oreos I was in search for, although they did have the new chocolate chip cookie dough Oreos. I read a review online about them & almost every review stated that they were disappointing so I walked away from the aisle without cookies. I mean, why waste the calories on just any old cookie when I was in search for the specific one. My prescription was free because I had a coupon & my insurance covered the rest. Damn I love being a teacher!! Free meds?!?! Hell yes!! This Walgreens location is not as clean & new as some others I've visited recently but let's face it, a Walgreens is a Walgreens. The pharmaceutical department is by far the most professional people going. They know you by name and I've never waited for my scripts. Any questions are answered with your health issues addressed with kindness. The photo dept are very helpful in providing printing information and help with your orders . This store is far better then the others due to the employees read more

Do not print your photos from the Internet here. They are very scattered. You wait at least a half hour if you have any photos bigger than 4 x 6. Even if you get the email confirming that your photo has been printed it will not be. You will go in, they will find your order, and print it while you wait. read more
