The only professional gal in this pharmacy is Vee. She has always been kind understanding and listens. I would have left Walgreens after 14 years and 2 states if it wasn't for Vee especially with a newer pharmacy with no people skills (J) Vee is a huge asset to this location and pharmacy!!!!!! . She deserves recognition and a raise. I want the store mamager & corporate to know she does a fine job & in have had several encounters with her as a customer I cant say that about other encounters at this location when Vee isn't working. Ordered mega red krill oil supplements. Received product with clear duck tape to secure closed. Upon opening, bottle found to have seal broken. Manager informed, stated to return item; that "these things happen". Returned items that are restocked need to be thoroughly inspected; especially over the counter pharmaceuticals. The contents of the opened bottle with broken seal and opened box could have any number of harmful substances inside. This is unacceptable and very poor quality control. The store manager did indicate the item could be returned and/or exchanged but acted in a very casual, blasé, unbothered and unconcerned manner. This is a safety issue and needs to be addressed as such in a very serious way. read more

"Pharmacist" chin is rude and unprofessional. I was calling from a doctors office on behalf of a doctor as a case manager and the man refused to look up another patients medication. He told me he has 100 other scripts to fill and for me to call back. I said I just waited on hold for 20 minutes and he said that's why it's such a long wait is because of people like me asking for more than one thing. I asked for his name 4 times before he gave to me each time the reasons was "call back later". I I said I'm just trying to do my job and you clearly don't want to do yours. He then said I'm not refusing I'm just asking you to call back another time. Last time I checked that's technically refusing to do it in the moment. His actions told me my parents weren't as important when I'm trying to ensure my high risk sick elderly patients have their medications. I call for people who can't call for themselves so the fact that they pharmacist is rude to me means he is willing to be rude to any customer that walks in, drives through or calls. This is my neighborhood Walgreens so I like this store. They have most of the necessities I need or if I have forgotten something in the middle of a recipe I can quickly drive in and get out. The store is fairly clean except for when they are stocking. The service is okay. The people are helpful but the speed of check out always seems incredibly slow. The pharmacy has had what I need most of the time and it has a drive thru for when I don't feel like roaming around the store. read more

Walgreens - Always on special!! - Drugstores Near Me - Orange Park, Florida

The pharmacist on duty made the grave error of filling my script with the wrong medication. I came from a different Walgreens, which did not have the medication in stock. This one on Blanding claimed they did. Apparently, the originating pharmacist read the script wrong and, when he called this one, they took him at his word without reading it when I handed them the PAPER script for a controlled substance! I didn't realize I had the wrong medication until I got home and looked at it and saw on the label it was wrong. They did not have the correct medication in stock that evening and would have to order it. The pharmacist and his techs were goofing around and I'm sure that was not helping the situation. This could have led to a serious situation if I had taken the medication and was allergic to it. I have taken the medication in the past that they mistakenly gave me and it gave me heart palpitations, but I did not have an allergy. Fortunately, I am supposed to take it in the morning and I received the medication in the evening. Please make sure you check the medication you receive from this pharmacy before taking it!
