Another review of this Walgreens pharmacy. As of today I will be switching to a different pharmacy. Thursday - I went to the doctor. Got diagnosed with a double ear infection. My doctor sent my prescription in around 10:00 a.m. I called Walgreens around 3:00 p.m. wanting to know the status. I was told that one prescription was ready but the other they had to order because they were out of stock. Was told they would receive it the next day. Friday - I call the pharmacy around 11:00 a.m. wanting to know the status of my prescription. I was told that they were still unloading and to call back after 2:00 p.m. I call and am now told that my prescription is no longer manufactured. Then how was it ordered the day prior? Was told they would call my doctor for a new prescription and that they would call me back. Surprisingly, I do receive a return phone call. I was told that they could not get a hold of my doctor, but that another Walgreens up the road had the medicine in stock. Obviously, I was very frustrated as it would have been nice to know that prior to waiting over 36 hours for my prescription to be filled. It's not like I was refilling a prescription. It was a prescription issued because I was sick. I think this may be my first 1 star review. read more

I was surprised to see so many low reviews of this Walgreens. I have had pretty good experience at this location. The staff has always been friendly and I have not run into a situation where they did not have what I went in for. In fairness, it appears that there are several reviews related to the Pharmacy itself - which I don;t technically use the pharmacy.....but a s a quick stop for essentials, OTC medicines and others, I have been pretty happy here. It is reasonable easy to get into and out of the parking lot, there are usually plenty of spaces available and I have not really had to wait in any unreasonable lines (Even at Christmas time it was just a few folks at the line)/ I can;t speak of the Pharmacy, but as far as the store is concerned,d its a good store for folks in the area read more

This particular Walgreen's serves the Iviedo community. In terms of layout, it is like many other Walgreen's. They have a pharmacy, which is the primary purpose I guess in the beginning of this company, but like many pharmacies, have expanded to have a hodgepodge of other merchandise available. The service I received was okay and overall it was an okay experience. I guess that I will give this establishment three stars. read more

I am in disbelief of how CORPORATE is not doing something about thIs pharmacy. There are many issues with this one. From the disorganization, long waiting times, and lies. ‍I don't have prescription insurance so our family uses Good Rx & other discounts. I had the gentleman take my discount code, and he verified the code was correct. He was making funny faces so I asked him if he was sure, he said he would check again & said it was fine. Then he asked another employee to verify it, and he said it was fine, great. So it was about & $4.50. I said ok, I was having a severe allergic reaction to fire ants, and just came from Urgent care. Clerk said it would take about 25 mins. I wait there, for a little while, then decided to wait in the car. I walk to register to pay and the clerk says $24.50. I of ask what the heck happen to price? She says nothing can be done. How did the price jack up in 30 mins or so? She handed me that tripe about price is not guaranteed, & I respond with; I understand, but it was just checked three times by two different employees, for the $4.50 price, she says there's nothing she can do about it. By now I am so disappointed and furious, I am not even feeling the pain and swelling going on. So I start to leave in my car without my script, and I realize someone needs to be aware of what just happen to me, plus I need the prednisone, to stop the swelling. I call on pharmacy on my cell and they tell me they applied other discounts and it's now about $12.00 something. I said great, I have no choice, so yes I will pickup at the car line. That was another fiasco, waited a while, then parked my car and walked it. Corporate needs to straighten this pharmacy out because it is giving them a bad name! read more

I purchased a $100 Home Depot gift card at this Walgreens location, and when my father tried to use it, the card didn't work. It had been activated at checkout, but Home Depot said it had no value. When I returned to the store for help, the manager refused to assist or offer any solution. I'm very disappointed in Walgreens for selling faulty gift cards and taking no responsibility. They sold me a scratched out gift card like wtf you just scammed me. I can't even get a return.

the pharmacy is NEVER open. they have two workers, and if one goes on vacation, they have the other one leave, as well. they have left my mother out to dry. she takes ambien because of severe PTSD from being a retired officer, some nights are extremely difficult for her, so she takes them in order to fall asleep. this isn't the first time this has happened to us, not by a long shot. you cannot expect customers to feel cared for, nor can you expect them to wait for their needed medication because of irresponsible management. we're lucky that they're just sleep meds, but some people have to take controlled substances to help them survive, such as cancer patients. this irresponsibility is going to seriously hurt someone someday. the service here is a joke, never do any sort of business at this pharmacy. other than that, the store section is fine. the pharmacy is negligent and pathetic, at best. read more

Once again at Walgreens. Second time in like 10 years. Had forgotten why but they reminded me today yet again. Trashy place. Long waits. Expensive. Oh, they gave me a $5 off coupon at the pharmacy but when I checked out at the front with more items I picked up they said it was actually for my NEXT visit. I asked again how that worked since it's a coupon I was given AFTER I had made a purchase at the pharmacy. Only come here because its close to my apartment (walking distance), but after recent events i think ill be going to CVS down the road. 1) i made a larger purchase recently and wanted to split the balance between two credit cards, which i have done many times at this location as well as other stores. The old lady cashier proceeded to charge my first card before telling me she didnt know how to split the balance. She called over her manager, who then informed me that they "cant split purchases between cards anymore". They can only do partial card and the rest in cash. Wtf? I left the remainder of my stuff and then filed a chargeback with my credit card for the first charge. This is 2018, why the hell would you take this option away?! 2) this same old lady cashier decided it was her place to make a rude remark to my friend who was buying ice cream for us. She said "thats a looooot of ice cream for one small girl". Umm how about you mind your business 3) came to this pharmacy with a loved one right after leaving the hospital. We showed up about 35 minutes before the pharmacy was closing. The pharmacist refused to fill his script, saying they were about to close. Even after we told him we had just left the hospital and needed the medication tonight, he didnt care. Its not like it was busy before closing anyway, we were the only ones there. Worst run pharmacy by far, huge mistake coming here. They don't even care when they are the cause of your delay and dismissive. Even just seeing what the medication you are filling you can tell someone is in massive pain while you don't do your jobs with any kind of empathy. Drive thru gets priority regardless of line inside and I was in the drive thru but bc of their mistake had to come in and wait in the massive line that didn't move for a good 15 bc the one non drive thru employee was helping them. Even then I was 4 ppl in with another 3 behind me. Perhaps the drive thru worker could alternate between both lines but anything that makes common sense doesn't happen at this place. Funny part is I worked here many years ago so I have sympathy but no way the pharmacist would go for this nonsense at 2pm. I get staffing issues for many companies but they had 5 employees back there. read more

Retail experience from the good ol' days myself, I know how challenging a job in a store like this can be so I go out of my way to be grateful, especially at a time like this. Shop somewhere else, don't believe me, look at all the reviews. I did a replacement propane tank here and got one with a bad seal. They wouldn't swap it out with another tank even though mine was still completely full. The manager lady was unhelpful, rude and nasty. She tried to charge me another $20 for the swap and I said you already sold me one with a bad seal. She told me to take it up with Blue Rhino, to which I said you should take it up with them and she said she never sees the rep. and that if I'm having a problem with the tank that I need to call them. Not sure how this is my problem when it was "Walgreens" that I paid my money to. The worst part of this encounter was how disgusting her attitude was. Why would Walgreens make someone like this a manager. Unbelievable!!! Heed my advice and shop somewhere else that actually cares about their customers. Good luck to this location. The truly sad part of this whole story with a great ending, I took the tank to Lowe's down the street, I paid for the swap there and told the guy it had a bad seal and he walked my receipt inside and refunded me the $20 for the swap. I was picking up a prescription with my friend who had just had oral surgery and was unable to drive. The oral surgeon had sent over the prescription prior to the procedure so that it would be ready when we got there. The first person at the drive-thru indicated that her Tri-Care was inactive. I have a feeling that the Army would disagree. He then asked her to write down her social security number on a piece of paper, as that was another way to verify coverage! I provided her driver's license. I told them I would pay cash for the prescription so we could just get it and leave. He said that I could come into the store. Why would I come into the store, when my friend just had surgery and cannot walk and shouldn't be left alone? The next person comes to the window and tells me that in order for her to work on the rx, I would need to "pull around". I told her, I was not going to do that because now there were a LOT of cars in line. She said, "It's store procedure." It is not store procedure, as I've picked up the identical prescription before for someone else. She was worried about the line, not the imaginary procedure. So, I get out of line, circled around again, and waited. Now, the 3rd person in the drive-thru appears and cannot comprehend how to use the speaker/microphone, so I can't hear her when asking how much the rx was. I told her no less than 3 three times that I was unable to hear her. I pushed cash through the drawer, got the rx, and left. Hey Walgreens, the time to get through oral surgery and recovery takes less time than to get 1 rx from your store that was called in IN ADVANCE. We will not be back. read more

Manager did not take their pharmacy coupon. Used a coupon once a month prior. The coupons have no statement that you can't use it again. But the manager had their employees tell me that they won't take it. They gave me some bogus reason about it saying its on the coupon, when i showed them it, it said nothing of the kind. They advertise this coupon all over the place, in fact they have them printed on the back of their receipts. All you had to do was transfer a prescription to their store and have it filled and you get $20 gift card. For some reason this stores manager doesn't understand that? I had the manager call me but was not home, I called back and no one knew the person that had called me. read more

The main reason for visiting this walgreens is its convenient location. It is literally a stone's throw from my office. So when the need arises for any random purchases, (milk, tissues, medicine, etc.) ... it is right there. The store itself is clean and nice. The selection of items could be better. A few times I believe they have misrepresented prices/promotions with the tags they place in front of products. Trying to find a store worker to help you sometime is a bit difficult. The friendliness of some of the co-workers is also a bit questionable. But like I said, it is convenient and right next door. read more

I wish I could make this zero stars. I stop in to see if they have liquid vapo-steam and maybe some vitamins so I walk down one aisle and around to the other, passing 3 wet floor signs and even say to my son 'wet floor'. I didn't realize that was a barricade until I looked up but was already greeted by an extremely nasty 'you can't be there' from one employee and an even nastier 'you didn't see it was blocked off!!'. I took my daughter here to get ready to transfer to another school district. The physician in the clinic, whom was very condescending and arrogant, gave me a hard time about the shot that the school required. She didn't want to give it to my daughter because it wasn't a requirement until 7th grade, even though the school has told me twice that they go off the age of the child. The physical was going to cost me $70, but then she wanted to add on $140 because my daughter had a temp of 100.1. It's a low grade fever, the physician wanted to charge me for a sick visit after I repeatedly told her that I'm a therapist in a hospital, I'm qualified to treat my child for a fever (I would think) and that I just wanted to get the physical taken care of so I could take her home to take some Motrin. The physician had me go through the store, purchase water for my daughter, while she in the meantime questioned my daughter outside my presence. After some arguing, I left with nothing. I wasn't about to pay her an extra $140 for a low grade fever that wasn't even present the following morning. There's a reason she works in a dingy office in the back of a Walgreens. read more

Being new to the area I sought out a Walgreen's close to my home since I had been previously dealing with this pharmacy in my previous community. The store appeared clean and well stocked but my main reason for the visit was the pharmacy. I have never encountered such a rude Pharmacist. Barely taking his eyes off a computer screen while accepting my prescription, then telling me "we will do it THIS time, but NEXT time we won't accept an out of state driver's license as ID". Like there will be a next time, yeah right. Even when I went back 4 hours later to pick up my prescription (after being told it would be TWO) the rudeness was overwhelming. I provided my prescription card and was immediately told that it was just a discount card. I explained politely that it was indeed my prescription card and with an "I'll show you" attitude, the pharmacist entered the numbers into his computer only to see that indeed it is NOT just a discount card. He made no effort to acknowledge his mistaking the card and proceeded to fill my prescription (which hadn't been done as he had told me it would be). I was fortunate enough to have one of the girls behind the counter finish my dealings and she was considerably more polite and customer service oriented. Convenient or not, this will not be a business that I use again. read more
