My doctor has tried 3 times to call in my prescription there over the past week. Waited over 30 minutes each time and they still did not get through! I couldn't even get a chance to talk to a person when I called. Luckily it is not a life saving prescription. Just wonder how many people ARE waiting for life saving prescriptions!! So, after purchasing over $100 worth of medical equipment for my wife who is in end stage liver disease,I walked into this store today to purchase a transport wheelchair for another $100. I wanted to look for who I believe was the manager who helped me the first time to thank her, but unfortunately she wasn't there. I then proceeded to the pharmacy where I was greeted by a young female who imo didn't exactly look professional wIth several earrings hanging from her nose. I was there to ask about transferring our prescriptions to this store, and during the question and answer period I was treated as if I was an idiot. The pharmacist who was an older male then asked me how many prescriptions I was transferring! Why in the he** does that make a difference? When he asked where I was transferring the prescriptions from, he proceeded to tell me how they'd have to waste their time hanging on the phone with the other place, then they'd have to take another hour of their time doing paperwork. After these comments I told them to just forget it, and walked out. What kind of piss poor business practice is this to not want someone's business or money? The cashiers at the front are always very kind and helpful. The people who work in the pharmacy are always scrambling like chickens with their heads cut off and BEYOND RUDE. Not sure they have managers, I've asked to speak to one on repeated occasions to no avail. I just wonder if anyone actually trains these people before throwing them into the pharmacy. Something is always broken or did something weird. They can never find your prescriptions or don't run them through properly. Don't bother calling either, no one answers. Just moved to Colorado so I requested a transfer for all my sons prescriptions to Walgreens... because this Walgreens is very close to my home. The lady I spoke with was Vanessa, after 30 seconds into the call I should have hung up and and went elsewhere but based off of our conversation and the reviews alone. Vanessa needs a 1x1 or some type of ethics retraining, I hate to see people fired but it's obvious she hates her job, she's very rude and not helpful. Does this lady not know she's at work? you are paid to do a service! I asked if she could request all my sons prescriptions (she huffed and puffed, as if I was bothering her), she said she needed the name of the prescriptions, so I gave her the names, 1 month later I request a refill and they say I can't because she didn't request the prescriptions, after calling my previous pharmacy she said they just expired so she wouldn't be able to transfer at this time. I'm livid! I work in the healthcare field and people like Vanessa should not be here, she does not want to help the sick, she's only there for a paycheck. GET RID OF THAT LAZY HEFFA! read more

I called on Wednesday asking if they had a specific patriot candle in stock. The associate who answered the phone put me on hold to go check. When she got back on the line, she told me they have a spot for it but were out at the moment. When they got their truck in, I waited 2 days and drove an hour out of my way to get the candles. When I arrived they did not have a spot on the shelf for the very specific patriot candle I asked for. I drove an hour out of my way and then had to drive another hour home empty handed. Very upset. And you can't order the patriot candles online either. read more

Great staff in both the store and the pharmacy. Very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is usually pretty busy, but everyone is helpful and tries to accommodate the need. Flu shot today. 12 minutes from walking in the door to walking out. no pain the pharmacist and tech were very busy but exceedingly efficient. they got a number of the drive-through prescriptions out while they processed my request. I've never been at the place before but it was just phenomenal and once the pharmacist got all the paperwork completed and approved it was literally a minute in the room getting the shot painlessly, a happy smile, and out the door. would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Every time I have I gone into Walgreens and attempt to buy what they claim is "on sale" it never actually rings up "on sale." If you don't watch carefully you will end up paying way more than you should. The pharmacy at this location is better than the one at Lincoln and Parker Road but who knows what they would be like if they were a 24 hour store like Lincoln. Bottom line is there just needs to be another 24 hour pharmacy somewhere in Parker. I can't believe that they haven't built one yet. But in general Walgreens pharmacy does seem to have a good supply of medications when other stores are out. You can usually find what you need at Walgreens you just might end up paying more for it than you should. read more

If I could give zero I would. This place is completely understaffed all the time and under stocked from what I can tell. I have had many bad experiences and the drive thru is always I mean always closed. It's like they just decided they don't want to deal with it so they put a sign up and say come in. The most recent problem we had was it took 3 days to get our antibiotics filled- ridiculous. We came back 4 times to try to pick it up. Should not take that long for augmentin. Tough comment to write. I gave this store a five star rating in December 2020 - that is only four months ago. First of all, this store is overworked - most of the staff are courteous and helpful; the influx of new communities has caused less than stellar performance regarding working insurance issues overall. While all of the junior pharmacists are great and go out of their way to be helpful, in my opinion, the lead pharmacist has a serious attitude problem. I have never - never been so treated during a phone call - and it seems she was incorrect. I appreciate that she went to school for her pharmacy degree, [so did the pleasant, helpful and courteous junior pharmacists] but I would be glad to measure CVs with the lead pharmacist any time. Today I ran to the Walgreens at the corner of Stroh Ranch Rd and Parker Road to buy a pack of cigarettes before I had to get home and pick up my disabled husband and get him to a doctor's appointment. I did not take my wallet - only money. The clerk at the counter (who insisted she was a manager when I asked for a manager), refused to sell me a pack of cigarettes because I did not have a driver's license on me. I am 77 years old and totally grey haired. So I left but was only disappointed at that point. In the parking lot I ran into a very nice senior citizen who said he would buy my cigarettes for me. We re-entered the store - stood in line for about 4 minutes to reach the cigarette counter where the same ridiculous idiot was checking out people. She refused to sell the man the cigarettes because she just knew he was buying them for me and I had no identification. Now I am not mad - I am furious. I just spent the last hour calling all my doctor's and changing my preferred pharmacy to another pharmacy. I will never step foot inside another Walgreen's as long as I live. No wonder they are having to close so many stores. When they employee idiots with no common sense what so ever- they deserve to close. read more

We have been a loyal Walgreens customer for 30 years. As busy Corporate execs we are on the road most of the time. We have lived all over the country and experienced the best and worst that Walgreens has to offer. Today, my experience at the Pharmacy in Parker at the corner of Stroh and Parker is beyond words. Flew in last night....fly out this afternoon...and I'm told it will be at least two hours to give me a prescription called in by my doctor. So fly without the prescription? Miss my flight? Don't pack and try to find another Walgreens? Find one in NYC? Explained all this...the answer from the clerk at the Pharmacy, in a most unpleasant tone......you see how busy we are. Can't help you. I show up to wall greens in kind of a hurry and hoping to get to the pharmacy pretty quickly. I show up and there's a car in front of me. Surprisingly the car leaves fairly quickly and now it's my turn. Stay away from their pharmacy for several reasons. I called and was put on hold for almost 10 mins. When the phone picked up, no one answered and I heard the staff talking about personal issues. When someone started who was living with who and something about Jenna. Then they hung up on me. It's so rude to keep customers on hold while they chit chat. Plus Walgreens takes it upon their selves to release controlled substances when they like. I'm careful with my meds and in case of emergencies try to hold a few days back. Once I used what I had before picking up my next month and the following month they wouldn't release my prescription until my "pick up" date. So my careful use of my medication was gone. Yesterday I was given a prescription which was incorrect which I need the refill TODAY. It's Saturday July 1st and my Dr office is closed until Wednesday. So I have 5 days without my controlled substance my body is dependent on. The Manager, Holly, at the Parker location is very argumentative and has absolutely no people skills or empathy for what a customer is dealing with. This place is horrible. I went yesterday to grab my prescription that the doctor called in for me and they told me that the amount was way to much and that they needed to call the doctor to confirm before they would fill it even though I was asking for less that what was prescribed. They said they called the doctor but never heard back and since it was after hours I would have to come back the next day. I went back today and they told me the same story and that they still were unable to reach the doctor. So I called my doctor who informed me of two things 1. They never called her and 2. That it is absolutely legal for them to fill a prescription for less than what the doctor ordered without talking to the doctor. So I told the doctor to go ahead and call it into the pharmacy at the King Soopers at Stroh. When I got there the pharmacist informed me that Walgreens did in fact fill my prescription and that they would need to shelf it in order for them to be able to fill it. So they called Walgreens and told them to shelf my prescription and filled it for me. So how in the heck did walgreeens show that my prescription had been filled through my insurance without giving me my meds???? Sounds like fraud to me. I will NEVER use them again!!! read more

Horrible pharmacy... customer service is not a priority for this crew. The pharmacist that is apparently the head of the team is completely rude and to the point of being threatening. He has no care for the customers he is there to serve and admitted that "the doctors are not smart enough" to understand prescribing medication. They withheld prescriptions despite the dr calling twice, lied saying that Insurance would not cover the cost of a prescription which the insurance company stated a claim was never submitted for, and ultimately was rude and extremely aggressive to the point of being threatening when I just went to get a prescription for my wife. It's unfortunate that even after reaching out to Walgreens Corp about this pharmacist and his team they never attempted to reach out and try to get a better understanding of how their company is being represented by this team of employees. This pharmacy cannot fill a prescription correctly to save their life. I have a prescription written to be refilled every 20 days. Normally it would go 28 days but the larger dose makes me sick and the lower dose only lasts 20 days. This is written by a neurosurgeon to be filled as prescribed, I have had this RX for over 3 years and this pharmacy screws it up at least 3 out of every 4 refills. It is so bad they asked (ME) to call them 5 days ahead of time to make sure it will be ready. They have 1 pharmacy tech that calls me by name and keeps it straight any time I get him on the phone. The weekend help is absolutely terrible. One tech in particular screws it up every time as if on purpose. This is a $600.00 RX that lasts 20 days so you would think they would want to do what's necessary to keep my business. Today was the last straw. I got the weekend tech again and as usual, he said it cannot be filled. It's too early as it refills every 28 days. I asked for a manager and was put on hold so long I was able to drive there and ask for a manager in person. I am calling my Dr. Monday and having the pharmacy changed. read more

Buyer beware!!!! before you use Walgreens to fill prescriptions. Way!! over priced vs King Soopers. I paid 108.00 for a prescription that I bought without insurance for 11.50 at King Soopers. I paid 4.00 at KS for one that cost me 68.00 at Walgreens. Walgreens did not offer a discount card opportunity when I paid full price. And the store manager said he was not allowed to refund the price difference for me. So I ate $150.00 . Expensive mistake. Should have checked first. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Walgreens is a classic example of why healthcare costs are so high. How could there be such a huge price discrepancy. Makes you wonder about the integrity of that company? After doing business with them for 15 years, they were only too happy to transfer my prescriptions to another competitor and let me walk away. And I was only too happy to do it.
