Terrible terrible terrible the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Grossly understaffed and inexperienced people at the pharmacy counter. I've tried calling in my prescription three times every time I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. No one ever answers the phone. They don't understand. People are sick they need prescriptions And are unable to access them because there is nobody answering the phone, ridiculously long lines and total confusion on the part of everybody who works at the pharmacy there. read more

I switched to have my medicine filled yesterday by Walgreens other than where I normally have it filled because it was Sunday and it had to be taken that day and my pharmacy isn't open on Sundays because I was discharged from the ER on Sunday. I wasn't called to find out that it couldn't be picked up that day. I wasn't even sure if they had received it. I called the phone number to talk to a real person and I got an AI who couldn't find the prescription and wouldn't give me a real person. I visited the physical pharmacy and the line is like 8,9 people long and want moving. I called the number again got the AI again and I described every detail what the problem is so it finally sent me to a real person who found the prescription. He said it couldn't be filled till Wednesday. I told him it needed to be filled right away because it should've been filled yesterday because it came from the ER. He agreed to have it done asap in about an hour and an half. Then he said I would have to wait in line to get it which I can't because of pain in my leg from standing very long. I needed another way. He thought the local pharmacy didn't have a drive through pickup then he looked again and it did. Drug stores like Walgreens need to step up their game because grocery stores and other similar stores shouldn't be able to do their job better but they are. If they don't they'll all go under. If my heath isn't important to them I won't use them ever even if I just got out of the ER on Sunday and can't go anywhere else. I'll just wait until tomorrow. Walgreens will need to pay me to ever consider going there again. I think I should've just had them transfer to another place to be filled. We'll see if it gets filled right away and if I get notified at that time. Update: They wouldn't fill the prescription for stupid reasons so I'm transferring it back to my own pharmacy. WALGREENS doesn't like business that pays them. read more

Marcus was very un helpful when I went to get dipers they asked me to download application to clip coupon. When I clipped coupon it would not allow me to use it. I showed marcus I clipped he said only way I could get deal is if I did store pick up. I could not do store pick up since I don't have a debit card and use digital wallet. Marcus insinuated it was not his problem and I needed to figure something out. Absolutely no help, app sucks and so does his management skills at finding solutions. read more

The store is great but the pharmacy is not... The lady I spoke to was rude, to make a long story short. I waited all day for the prescription to be ready, and finally decided to go speak to someone in person at 9PM (because I couldn't get through to someone on the phone). They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Came back at 9:45pm, she then asks if I'm uninsured, and I said no and gave her my insurance information for the second time. She then told me it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow because she had to process it again? So I told her it's very important I get it tonight, and told her I'll get it without insurance (since the insurance is causing it to be reprocessed?) and she told me no she can't, so I ask if I can do a 3 day emergency refill, and she once again says no there isn't enough time (it closes at 10pm, it was 9:50pm) . This whole time she was really rude and clearly annoyed. Now I'm going to feel like crap all day tomorrow since I won't be able to get it until after work. read more

Staff is Great but the pharmacy always seems to be out of stock, I received a prescription that was supposed to be started immediately, it couldn't be transferred to any other pharmacy and then I was told that it "SHOULD" be available within a week. The old guy up front whose been there for years amazing! The pharmacy... not so much they refused to take my insurance through drive through which they deleted last time i came in as it was old insurance even though it was being renewed the next month, than when it came time today i waited 20 minutes than was about another 20+ minute wait for lobby on top on the time i been sitting in the car with my unpatient toddler. I scheduled an appointment for a vaccination with this Walgreens location. Their website had me fill out all the paperwork I'd need for the appointment, and saved it to my Walgreens account for them to access when I got there. The information on their site and confirmation emails showed that I would not need to print out the form and bring it in, yet when I go there, they said they had no record of me filling it out, and I wasted another 15 mins filling out paperwork again (and had to find a seat elsewhere in the store to fill it out since they had no seating for me... I sat at the makeup counter across the store). Instead of a quick in-and-out with a max time of 30-40 mins (pre- and post-injection wait times), I was there for over well over an hour. I spoke with the manager on duty, who had dark hair, a long black beard, and glasses (no name tag, and he didn't give me his name), and he couldn't have possibly cared any less. He was aware of the issue, as many customers have already clearly complained to him about it, but he really couldn't be bothered. He simply stated that there's probably a corporate number on the website, and suggested I should contact them since he didn't care. As a manager, it's his responsibility to not only make sure procedures are working and customers are happy, but also to help ensure his employees are working efficiently. Having his employees explain each time to each new customer that they have to re-fill out the forms is not only annoying to the customers, but also a waste of the employees' time. I get it, it's a corporate level decision as to which store locations are allowed to see customer forms and which ones aren't, but if you're telling your national customer base one thing on the site, then the complete opposite in-store, that's creating a customer service nightmare that no one at the local store wants to touch. tl;dr: I'll stick with Rite Aid and CVS from now on because Walgreens lies to their customers, then local management acts like wasting customers' time is normal and acceptable. read more

The store itself is okay it is the pharmacy which is not customer friendly. I had a coupon for medication from Cancer Center for medication I was required to take. The pharmacy clerk refused the coupon and I was treated rudely. I then took my prescription with the coupon to the Walgreens pharmacy on Gage and it was accepted. They were very nice friendly people to this 81 year old who had pancreatic cancer. read more

I went in today to get a flu shot. I didn't know I needed an appointment. I asked if they take walk-ins and the pharmacy clerk said no. I went home made an appointment on my computer for 8:30pm. I get there check in and the clerk said sorry I don't show that you have an appointment. I explained, I made an appointment. I am senior and not always computer savvy. So, I asked can you take me now....there was literally no customers at that time. I might add he was sweeping when I came in not helping anyone. He said no sorry, we quit taking walk-in's at 6:30pm. He said try again tomorrow. I said, thank you I will go somewhere else. He said OK. I have been using that pharmacy almost 6 years. I won't ever walk through that door again. Lousy customer service in the pharmacy, which is a shame. I should have asked to speak to the pharmacist. But I think he over heard our conversation. A Walgreens is Walgreens and after being in too many chains to count, one normally doesn't expect any more than the same old same old. Gayle had left a key piece of makeup at home and as part of an invigorating walk up and down the Road 68 sprawl, we found ourselves here. As Jackson Browne once opined - It's just another town along the road. The Asian guy that works the counter at this Walgreen's was really a kick in the pants. One minute he's joking in Spanish with a customer and the next he's complimenting Gayle and trying to sell us candy bars (49 cent special). All the while he's smiling and behaving like he really enjoys working here. Gayle and I left definitely left in a better mood than when we came in. The moral of this story - One might find the Messiah in unexpected places and times. And often it's good to slow down and pay attention. read more

Went in here very sick with a sinus infection. First of all there was no one in line and they said it will be an hour! I left and went out to the car feeling like my head would explode. After an hour I went back in. Since I owned a pharmacy for 34 years I knew exactly how much this drug cost. The cost was less than $4. She asked me if I knew how much this drug was. I replied I know how much it costs you but I have no idea what you are going to charge me. She happily replied $86 and that is when the hit the fan! Because I didn't have an insurance drug card they thought they could rip me off! After I got finished with my rant to which the pharmacist hid behind the counter. I actually saw him duck. She came back and asked if I would pay $22. I handed her the money and walked out. This is why you go to independent drug stores! The big chains will rip you off. They try to make up for the fact that insurance companies pay practically nothing for the prescription to the pharmacy. So they stick it to the ones who don't have a drug card. I've been using Walgreens for my pharmacy for the last several years. This was the last time I will ever give these people my business. My doctor sent my prescriptions in the day before. Apparently one of the medications wasn't covered by my insurance. Instead of giving me the option to pay out of pocket, they cancelled the prescription. When I asked why I couldn't pay out of pocket they said it was cost prohibitive and there was already a cheaper version OTC inside the store. So they decided without my consent: 1. Cancel my prescription. 2. Determined that I was unwilling or unable to pay out of pocket without even asking. 2. Did not make the OTC version available when I went to pick my prescriptions up. 3. Refused to get the OTC even though they have a sticker on the drive up window mentioning they have OTC stuff to sell at the window if you ask for it. I will not be using this pharmacy ever again. they have TERRIBLE SERVICE at the pharmacy. the pharmacy tech refused to take my Goodrx coupon. so instead of paying $13.75 with the coupon, I was forced to pay $132.52 for generic cholesterol meds. I don't have medical insurance and depend on Goodrx. I had to use a credit card to get my meds. Totally heartless and cruel I went into Walmart and asked if the coupon was valid and the technician there told me the coupon was good and should be accepted anywhere. I will never use Walgreens pharmacy again. I'm staying with Walmart. read more

I absolutely love this place for holiday and seasonal items. It's become a family tradition to wait until Dec 22nd and buy out their holiday clearance and trick out the house with buckets of tinsel and holiday items for 95% off. Plus, then I can just toss everything and never store holiday items to use one week a year. The previous review stating its tough to get in and out of is out of date. The city has recently fixed the intersection and it has a designated turning lane just for Walgreens. read more

Its chief drawback is that it is on Rd. 68, and since the opening of the Maverick across the street, not always easy to get in and out of. That said, I appreciate this place for selling the store brand version of Nyquil that still contains a decongestant. read more

The Walgreens store in general is ok but the Pharmacy is absolutely a joke when you call in to them your on hold for 30 minute's before anyone picks up and when they do they sound like there disgusted that you call them. this is the same when you go into the store they act as if you are bothering them. I have changed pharmacies because of the rude people they have there its to bad because there are nice people there that do like helping there customers but there's not enough of them because most of the time its the rude ones that I've ended up with for help. I've been a Walgreens customer for years and enjoy there rewards they give but I'm willing to just go out of my way to get my prescriptions from a competitor that is always willing and happy to see me and talked to me. I've been a customer here since it opened. I liked it at first. Good service. However in the past year their service at the pharmacy has decreased greatly. The wait time is often 4-5 hours if you don't wait around. If you do, I've had to wait 45-60 minutes numerous times. I think it's because the area has grown so much with out any new pharmacies to service everyone. If you have a standing Rx no problem. But if you are sick and want meds now be ready to wait a long time. read more

Very bad experiences with this particular Walgreens. I have been using the Walgreens chain for years without many issues until using the one on road 68 in Pasco. These pharmacists, Derrick, Andy, and one with a foreign accent all ran this particular pharmacy like none other I have been to. I would receive emails from the Walgreens system saying that my prescription had been ordered and when I would call several days later to get the status I was would be told they never ordered it and would and when getting updates often would be told they forgot to order it. Was also told by them that Walgreens doesn't send out order emails to patients which is not true and means they are ignoring orders in their system because every other Walgreens I have been to actually orders the prescriptions when the emails and texts are sent that says it has been ordered. One prescription took 11 days after they received it for them to order. Their excuse was they only place orders on Mondays which again makes no sense and is unlike any other Walgreens I have ever been to and didn't make sense because they ordered it on a Tuesday after they forgot twice. I was told by them multiple times that perhaps I should go elsewhere when I was nothing but kind and patient with their incompetency, doing everything I was instructed to do by them (they would tell me when to call and they still couldn't manage to get my meds or fill them in a timely manner). Eventually I was told they could no longer obtain my prescriptions from their distributor or something and cancelled the scripts in their system. I was warned by other people in the area not to use this particular pharmacy and now I know why. I have never had anything remotely like this at another Walgreens. I don't trust them one bit and they are violating Washington state laws that require pharmacies to maintain an adequate supply of stock of meds their patients need and that they are required to fill all prescriptions and cannot turn patients away. Walgreens should do something about how this particular pharmacy is operated. They act like they are the busiest Walgreens in the world but I have been to a lot of Walgreens in my day and this one gets average or below average traffic so they really should be able to keep up. read more
