I'm writing to formally express my disappointment with the treatment I received at your pharmacy on October 18 and October 20, 2025. After eight years of consistent service, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown by two staff members during a visit to pick up my prescribed blood pressure medication and monitor. On October 18, I arrived shortly before the lunch break and was immediately told by a staff member that the pharmacy was closing. Despite still assisting another customer, she refused to acknowledge me, abruptly closed the gate in my face, and walked away without allowing me to speak or ask a question. Her behavior was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. When I returned on October 20, I was assisted by a staff member named Ali. While he provided my medication, he informed me that I had to purchase the blood pressure monitor over the counter. When I explained that my doctor had sent a prescription, he turned his computer monitor toward me and, with an attitude, said, "Like I said! It's not covered by your insurance." His tone and body language were condescending and unprofessional. I left the pharmacy feeling disrespected and upset--ironically, in worse condition than when I arrived to pick up medication meant to lower my blood pressure. This experience has led me to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere, where I hope to receive the empathy and professionalism that patients deserve. I urge you to address the conduct of your staff and ensure that future interactions reflect the care and respect that should be standard in any healthcare setting. read more

DON'T GO HERE FOR PHOTOS! Take your business elsewhere. I placed an order for just FIVE magnets, nothing fancy, to be picked up same day (which they offer) on a Friday as a gift. Order stated it would be ready by the afternoon. I waited 8 hours, and once I came into the store to check the status of my order around 8:40pm, the photo department was closed. Here it is TWO days later and the order is still in the "Creating your order" phase. Utterly ridiculous. read more

And this story only gets better (worse for Walgreen's)... I went to pick up the order that had been transferred from the Castor Ave. store to the Frankford store. Even though your corporate customer service rep ASSURED me there would be no problem, the store wasn't going to honor it. I even showed them the coupon and original order and explained what happened. After 15 mins. of discussion, they allowed the charge. But here is the worst part: When I started this, I went to your Castor Ave. store to look at the products. They were not available in the store, so I couldn't see samples. However, I showed the photo clerk your web pages on the products, and she ASSURED me they were printing these directly on wood (like Shutterfly does). I asked several times and she emphatically said yes. The product I picked up today was not printed on wood. It was simply a photo print placed in a wood block with an acrylic cover - essentially an over-priced picture frame. The clerk at the Frankford store said they do only prints, they can't print directly on the materials (like Shutterfly does). So... this whole escapade was a massive waste of my time. When Walgreen's files for bankruptcy, I won't shed a tear... unbelievable. -Joe ==== Try getting through to the photo department on the phone! On Saturday, 1/16, I received a coupon for same-day photo services with a 75% off discount. I submitted two orders on 1/16 (#*881, *828). On 1/17 I received an email stating that order #*881 was ready. On 1/17 I received another email saying that order #*828 could not be filled and was cancelled. I called Customer Service and was able to have this order sent to another nearby store. The customer service agent had me resubmit the order, called the store, and got them to approve the 75% expired coupon. On 1/19 I was told the other order was delayed and to call the store. I spent HOURS trying to reach someone at the store. I kept being put on hold. I called customer service again, but the person I got this time couldn't help me. Today, I received notice that the order was cancelled. I cannot resubmit the order with an expired coupon. I have spent several hours since then trying to resolve this issue with their phone support (unhelpful), store support (can't get through to the photo department) and the Facebook page (nothing they can do - they told me to call customer service). They need to honor these 75% coupons or tell you the same day they can't print it. I have done everything possible from my side. When I visited the store before I submitted the order, they told me they could print it. After I submitted the order, they tell me several days later they don't have the materials. I could have sent it to another store if I had been properly notified. Their customer service is impossible to use and very unhelpful. Phone support in the store is a joke! I spent hours trying to get hold of someone at the store. What an unbelievably screwed up company. Last time I do business with them :( read more

I made a walk-in appointment for the little Health Clinic there. The computerized check-in is well thought-out and easy to use. They can only take one or *maybe* two patients at a time, so you may have a bit of a wait... or just make an appointment for a future time online or via the app. (Next time, I'm definitely using the app!) The nurses were very attentive to me and provided me excellent and professional service. They were a HUGE help and went WAY out their way to help me with my issue! In the future, when I require simple medical attention I will certainly return here. I recommend this Walgreens Health Clinic to anyone who is looking for such a service. Why is ZERO STARS not an option??? You guys are giving these people too much credit by forcing us to give a positive star rating! My boss needed to renew his passport and the last thing he needed before heading to the post office was the photo and it said the closest place to my office to do that was this Walgreens. My boss was in a huge time crunch so he called to confirm they do it to avoid wasting time and driving from place to place and to make sure that we didn't need an appointment... that would have been the perfect time for the employee on the phone to say "Yes, we normally are able to do it but we ran out of film" but why do that when you can cause someone to waste a huge amount of time by going to the store and being told in person. Do you want to know why? Because the excuse was BS, the employee that said he couldn't do it was just being lazy! I know, I know, people don't care especially when they have nothing going on for themselves and are incapable of understanding why someones time is precious to them. Maybe if you work on your work ethic you wouldn't be so miserable. read more

If I could rate it a zero I would. hours say till midnight and yet when I went at 10 today, they said they were closed. I understand a lot of people are sick rn but I was there at 3 and they didn't put a sign up or anything. And at 3 I waited in line for 25 mins bc there was 1 cashier open, but lots of people stocking, and a girl in line that needed 4 money orders. As over priced as yous are u would think u could hire enough staff. There's also 4 competitors within a 2 min drive. I'll use them from now on. read more

I made appt for lab work and Amanda was professional pleasant and explained lab draw procedure helped with the login process very helpful as i was on Oxygen and needed to sit to recover breaths.I would definitely recommend for lab work in future 5 star rating thsnk you Linda read more

Just speaking about the pharmacy the staff is amazing. They help me understand a lot of things about my son's medicine. Everyone is so caring and understanding. Really glad I switched to them. The rest of the staff is hit or miss. Depending on the day you could get a really nice person or you could get someone with a bad attitude. I find the prices to be average compared with other pharmacies. The only down side to this store has to be the beggers who hang out outside on any given day. Pharmacy tech had me standing there for quite a bit of time. Then wouldnt fill my prescription after entering all my information saying he didnt like the doctors signature. Been on this med for 13 years never had a problem til now. read more

I think my issue here is more with the obnoxious clientele, since everyone who works here has always been lovely to me. But yesterday I had to make use of their walk in clinic thing they offer, in order to get a physical form completed for my job. I had to wait an hour and a half but at least the wait time is listed on the kiosk computers, so I felt OK with walking around and leaving the store without losing my place in line. I came back a few minutes early, and sat down to wait. The volume of the people waiting for the clinic was enough to almost make me snap. No one knows what an inside voice is any more. People were screaming on their cell phones and having otherwise obnoxiously loud conversations. So loud, in fact, that I missed my name being called. I still don't know how that happened since I was ten feet away from the door, but apparently I did. So this set me back another half hour which really sucked. I was also kinda miffed to find this simple one page form cost $75 to have filled out?? I guess that's what you pay for convenience, and my choices were limited since my primary doctor was on vacation. The nurse practitioner was lovely, however. She did a very thorough exam and was very personable. As for the rest of the store, I find the selection to be very good and the employees friendly, I just wish they asked people to shut the F up! read more

Today while in the healthcare clinic everything was fine with my visit, but something bothered me. The nurse taking care of my appt told me what the next patient was there for. HIPPA would have a fit. Made me wonder if my appt would be discussed with her! Next time I'll just wait for the appt with my PCP..... read more

I would go 3.5 if I could. It's always always so crowded, which I guess could be a good or bad thing. The staff is very friendly and if missed a deal on something they will let you know and switch it out. The pharmacy is good though always seems understaffed. The people in the pharmacy are great, so you sometimes feel sorry for them. But really in the end it is just a Walgreens read more

The nurse practitioner I met with took lab tests without explaining the tests, then I got hit with an insanely high medical bill from the testing facility. When I attempted to contact them to solve the problem they completely ignored me. Just stay away from this place, save yourself the struggle. read more

prescriptions are pretty good here, weekly sales are great too, i bought something yesterday that was on sale the week before, when charged $9 for it i told cashier that it was on sale and still had the sale sign posted, so she honored the sign price and deducted $2.50 off of product read more
