YOGI, a supervisor is phenomenally amazing! Last week July 6th I was rushing to catch my train and I stopped to purchase a hair product. I asked this lady about getting cash back. Anyhoo, I selected the amount grabbed my receipt and left $40 in the machine and walked out! After I crossed the street I realized I left the money!! ‍‍ I ran back to the store and as soon as I walked in I heard two females say, "there she is!" YOGI must have asked them to catch me but they didn't. YOGI had my money and was waiting my return. In these days of people not being honest or kind, THIS LADY DESERVES HER ACCOLADES. I went back again and told a male manager and I promise you, he acted JEALOUS!! WTH? ‍ YOGI will be rewarded. read more

This is a city pharmacy, so basically everything was locked down. I stopped in to transfer a prescription during a work conference, as it was leading up to last weekend's huge snowstorm. It was a single-pill script, so after the 15 minute prescribed wait, I hopped in line to see if it was available. Usually, my CVS app would alert me and/or I'd get a text, but neither happened. The pharmacist was like, "Yes, we called her name" when I asked if it was ready yet, which was strange as I absolutely didn't hear it. Strange they're not up to date on their technology, but alrighty. I also had to tap my card twice to pay. All in all, glad I stopped in as it saved me a trip at home but the vibe sure was something else. read more

They did not have what I wanted, so unfortunately a failed visit. All I needed were saltine crackers, but they only had Club. When you're sick there is a difference. An employee said they were out. Store had security which was a bonus. For this visit a 3 suits them. read more

After finally getting someone to replace him they cut the line behind us and started thisletting people behind us check out. and left multiple people who were in front not pay and left standing. The head pharmacist at this CVS is condescending and rude. I went to ask her a simple question about a side effect of a basic antibiotic. I was met with a great deal of defensiveness and bitchy tones. The rest of the staff in the pharmacy, lovely. But she really needs to check herself. I'm not trying to ask you for a diagnosis or anything outside of your training as a pharmacist. Ask your doctor to send a script for a chill pill. read more

I've been going to this CVS for years, not only because they give out a lot of coupons through your reward card but, in general, it's very well stocked and clean and the people working there are courteous. One exception was a woman who dropped my large photo order on the ground, folded half of them trying to pick them up, told me to count them to see if anything was missing... when the manager literally checked the computer and knew right away that it wasn't done printing. No apologies about ruining half my photos and didn't reprint them... but I do want to highlight an excellent pharmacy employee, Rakem (not sure about spelling). It's distressing when you don't know if your insurance will cover your medications, but he went above and beyond, patiently checking other options with my insurance to make sure I got what I desperately needed. Everyone else told me to "call my insurance company, we can't check it here without a prescription." It's always those who really provide excellent customer service and care about your individual needs that make the world go round :) read more

A big CVS on the corner. While they seemingly stock a little bit of everything, it seems, they have a wide selection of certain items like 60 different kinds of band-aids, but they lack other things, like a vegetable peeler. Not sure why. They are not a 24-hour store. The self checkout is definitely useful. read more

Incredibly busy location. My goodness you cannot move a muscle without bumping in to someone. Customer service is unheard off, but I expect it is because the staff are severely overworked. Go to any other cvs rather than come here. This place is a zoo: rude/annoying customers. I actually saw a lady drop her babies bottle on the ground then pick it up and put it in the babies mouth- classy. Also unfriendly staff with a bad attitude and many items are mislabeled or not priced properly. This has got to be the most poppin CVS in America. I came in on a Wednesday at 2:30 PM and it was a mob scene. I couldnt believe how many people were in CVS on a weekday afternoon! The lines were so long and the cashiers were frazzled. I used self-checkout but still had to wait a long time before even getting there. In a pinch, its okay if you have the patience. The five star review is solely based on the awesome service from the Pharmacy staff!! I travel a ton for work, so it can get a bit tricky trying to get my prescriptions filled. And of course, I was running around the Northeast and really needed to fill a prescription. I was in NY this morning, and tried to fill it at the CVS next to my hotel. After about 20 minutes of being on the phone with them... no dice. They couldn't do it. Sure, it was due mostly to state regulations, but it was just wicked inconvenient, and I was getting nervous since I really needed my prescription! So... I called this CVS. I was coming into town later in the afternoon, so decided to play my luck. And, YES! Done and done. Serious. Like... 5 minutes on the phone? And they gave me a follow up call to let me know it was ready to be picked up like 10 minutes later? AWESOME. That's really all I need from a pharmacy. Amazing personalized service. This place is a perpetual mess. Goto Walgreen's on 11th and locust instead. The store hasn't been updated for years, it is unorganized and cluttered, the staff are totally indifferent and you can see how much they hate going to work by just looking at their faces. This is the first time in my life that I have had to do a chain pharmacy, rather than a mom & pop operation. For a big anonymous place, the pharmacy system is not worse than I have encountered at independent places. The young man with the long hair who works there is pretty sharp and has dealt with snags in my prescriptions. And I remember one time, they bent procedure and changed a prescription for an eczema cream so that my insurance would cover it. I'm annoyed that the pharmacy doesn't have longer hours though. It's not open before 9 am. I don't know when the pharmacy closes because I don't want to deal with the after work lines. The self-checkout is handy, but it's frustrating when they keep yelling for the line to use them. I'm in line because I can't use self-checkout because I'm buying things behind the counter. read more

Super convenient location near Jefferson Station with pretty much anything I need. I used their passport picture service. The photo department manager was cordial and professional. It's a messy location because it's pretty much always busy but the lines move relatively quickly and there are helpful employees around the self check-out lanes. I've used the pharmacy services and I prefer the smaller store on Walnut for that purpose. It's not far from here and you get much better, personalized attention as far as medications are concerned. read more

Seriously does everything in downtown Philadelphia close at 9 p.m. or earlier on a weekday? Gawd I'm so used to things being open to atleast 10 p.m., or even midnight, or even 24 hours. Anyways I showed back up in the morning after 9 as I needed a few things and the hotel was smoking that stuff with the prices they were trying to get me with for the stuff I wanted. Everything I wanted was in the wrong spot, meaning the it was the wrong price. Hell everything I wanted had NO price to be found . . . I had to ask the girl with the price gun to scan stuff for me because I knew it wasn't $5.49 for a 48 ct Nyquil/DayQuil combo . . . . of course, it is $14.99 . . . end up going to the register with 2 16 cts of Day Quil/Ny Quil . . . OMG, these aren't $5.49 either? Nope $7.49 . . . wtf? There is no $7.49 price tag anywhere, just like there is no $14.99 price tag. They must don't know, I am cheap as f**k . . . I ain't paying that kinda bread for something I gets at Walmart for under 10 dollaz. So now I gotta be holding up the line as dude on the register walks back instead of calling somebody else to look . . . he can't find the price tag either but he can say "No that is for the CVS brand" . . . "so where is the price tag" . . . "I don't know, but that is for the CVS brand" . . . . no shit . . . BUDDY. Ended up gettin da 48 ct for the $14.99, only cause the hotel had a 12 ct for 12 dollars. That is the only reason this place gets a 2nd star . . . it is close to the Loews and much cheaper than the Loews, but if you can, try the RiteAid or the Walgreens near by, don't know if they are any better but it can't get much worse than this CVS. read more

3/5 times I've been here to buy allergy medicine and their sudafed is database is offline. They never both to post a sign about or anything. Waste of time. It's nicer than the rite aid but you can't buy what you need and you find out AFTER you wait in line for 15 minutes. Oh, and rite aids is always working somehow. How can a national database be down for one store on the same block but not the other? Lolll read more

This CVS has a nice staff and is clean. However. Management needs to be aware of students from nearby schools are coming in this store location and bothering customers for money while they are trying to shop. Customers wind up leaving the store and shopping elsewhere. read more

Huge location with great selections of beauty products. They always have great sales going so check out the circular before you go. Because it's located on Market Street, you do get some unfriendly customers, but the staff is usually pretty friendly and move the long lines quickly. read more

Huge CVS pharmacy right in the heart of Old City... or what I believe to still be Old City. Anyways, like most other CVS's but I'd say in a rather convenient location. 3 stars for the oldish poorly laid out inside, but they have everything you'd be looking for at a CVS including your pharmacy, OTC's, candy and misc bathroom necessities. Parking is hard to find around here, so it's better that you walked to this one. read more

This CVS is as efficient and reliable as any RiteAid, Walgreens around the area. With the amount of people they have to deal with all day around Market East, the staff deserve a medal. Despite what I imagine is a thankless job, I've been helloed and greeted with a smile every time I go in there. Don't ever go here to take passport photo. Customer service is terrible, the staff don't know anything about taking photos or it's requirements. Quality of the photo is the worst I have ever seen in my life, when i looked at the camera screen it seemed good. However, the print out was blur, the white background was grayish with uneven patches. It's a shame to see such poor quality photo was printed out and I have to pay $12 for 2, and they don't give the digital copy. read more
