I usually pick up my prescription from these guys through the app, but for some reason it hasn't gone through even though they texted me about it. So I tried to call them on my lunch today (17 minutes on hold), until I had to go back to work. After work I tried again. 25 minutes of waiting with supposedly one customer in front of me. Screw it. They never answer the phone and if you want any help you have to be there in person. Regarding the PCR travel related Covid testing. I had one good experience and one NOT. If you need to change or modify your appointment date on the website, be sure the double check with the person giving you the testing to be sure they have the CORRECT dates for submission. I experienced it for you where the date was wrong on the paperwork rendering my test invalid (too late) although I did everything correctly. I did call the store to tell them of my concerns even though I know there was nothing they could help me with for this trip (that I could not take). The LAB they use are bac east and therefore 3 hours difference in time so at 2pm in the afternoon, there is no way they would have responded to my request to update my lab result dates. Pretty sure they will not get to my email for another 3 to 5 days. So - BE CAREFUL and don't rely on the pharmacy to get it right. read more

18 Aug 2021 My husband driving me home from hospital in Silverdale after over a week there and a painful emergency surgery, stop at Walgreens Port Angles the halfway mark home, the staff allowed me to use their restroom even before they knew we would buy anything. I was in no condition to go anywhere else. We purchased a walker with wheels and bandages. One member of the staff assembled the walker for us taking care to adjust the height and make sure I was able to use it. Every member of the staff was wonderful to us, especially the woman who fixed the walker. These are great caring people. read more

My husband and I are daily customers at this Walgreens and I find that the employees there are always very pleasant. Today 8/31/2017 at 1:20pm. I stopped on my lunch break to grab a soft drink and a snack. I saw that there were a few people in the checkout at the front of the store and so I stopped at the photo counter, girl at the counter had started to walk away but when she saw me she came back and asked how can I help you? I said I didn't have any photos to pick up and that I wanted to just check out there is that was okay. She acted a bit annoyed and said I suppose!!!!! she rang up my purchases and said you need to pay with cash. I was unaware that the credit and debit card systems were down at the time and so I asked why? She said our machines are down like I should have known. when I told her I didn't want the items because I had only my debit card she acted annoyed again. RUDE! I have never seen her working here before and I will avoid her at all costs in the future. read more

The pharmacy is terrible here. I needed to fill my daughter's prescription for an inhaler. She has insurance and they were telling me her primary which hadn't been in primary for months wouldn't cover it. I explained to them that insurance was no more had even contacted both insurance company's and had a conference call. I told the main pharmacist i can just pay it out of pocket. She told me no. My daughter's health was on the line and this is what I get!? Finally got everything figured out. Waiting on my 140... refund... They said it will take at least 2 months read more

This is a decent example of a walgreens however do not attempt to purchase wine or beer here with your kids with you. If every person in your "group" can't produce a valid ID and is over 21 they will refuse to sell it to you. Are parents supposed to leave their kids in the car? My husband and I were on a tour of national parks in our rv when I realized I was going to need a refill of my eyedrops. Checking the map, I estimated we would be in Port Angeles by early afternoon. I called Walgreens and explained that my prescription was at a Walgreens in Tennessee and I would be in Port Angeles by 1:00 PM. I got a cheerful Walgreens employee on the other end, who checked to make sure they had my drops and assured me they would be ready. We actually arrived earlier and were relieved to see we could find easy parking for the rv. My prescription was already bagged snd waiting for me. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It could not have been easier or more pleasant! read more

I used the drive through to pick up a prescription. Very efficient and safe. The lady at the pharmacy was very pleasant. Good to use drive through with COVID-19 circulating. You are separated from the clerk by glass so any danger is minimal. read more

The people that work in this pharmacy are beyond incompetent. Beyond. I created a yelp account specifically to post this. My doctor sent a prescription for my 17 month old son who had an ear ache. He was squirming on the ground in pain needing this pain relief. We visited the pharmacy and they told us it would be an hour. So we left and came back an hour later. Then they told us it would be another half hour. Returning for a second time, they told us they did not fill it. The pharmacist told us our insurance was not current. (That's same thing she told me last time I tried filling a prescription until I finally got her on the phone with my insurance company where she realized my family was covered. "We got it figured out" was her words.) I told her I don't care, I will pay full price. I need this medicine for a toddler who is in torment. She told us they have the prescription at Safeway. Not even thinking how that happened or could happen. We listed to her and left for Safeway. The pharmacy at Safeway never heard from them and had no idea what we were talking about. The prescription was ordered at 2:00. It was filled at 7:30. For the last two hours my son was in the fetal position in a new level pain he never new existed with one eye open barely looking at me. He had a look of pain and sadness on his face. I wanted to take a picture of him, create a poster out of it and put it on the Walgreens door with a caption that says "thanks for not caring and allowing this to happen." Never go here. read more

Walgreens is Walgreens.. our Walgreens has quick service, is conveniently located, is never short handed, sweet management, quick rx, Some experienced workers, provide propane refills, equipped with a redbox and always has sales pertinent to our area and seasons. read more

Nice enough little drug store. They have a pharmacy with a drive up. Beer and wine, a few groceries. Dog stuff, kid stuff, cards, make up, a few clothes, cigarettes (cheap) and lots of other stuff. Prices are pretty good. Staff is always nice. Great location worth good parking lot. Rebox out front. I like this store. read more

The pharmacy is run by very ill tempered people who are not attentive to their customer's needs. Tonight we were told to come back for our prescription... and was told to come back when the pharmacy was closed. Rite-Aid and Wal-Mart just got our business, losers. read more
