    a pharmacy temporary closed sign
    L M.

zero stars if possible. This Walgreens took my prescription for painkillers after i had a medical procedure. when they asked, i told them id like them asap and expressed that it was time sensitive that i receive them. they then proceeded to delay and delay and fill the script late, so I had to wait longer for it, in pain. Then when I was finally alerted on my phone that the prescription I had been waiting for was ready, I went to the location to pick it up only to see the pharmacy shut down without warning with a sign reading "we will be closed for the next few days." confused and still in pain, I asked The Walgreens employee how I can get my prescription and she told me to call to transfer my prescription to another location. Great. an inconvenience, but great. I called another location. When I spoke to another Walgreens pharmacy to transfer my script, they proceeded to tell me that because it's a controlled substance that they could not fill that script and that it was essentially trapped in the other location for 4 more days. and that they were unable to do anything abt it, forcing me to needlessly wait in unnecessary pain unable to retrieve a vital medication perscribed to me, through no fault of my own. damn this location to hell for not even so much as giving notice posting a sign or giving any warning to customers that prescriptions would be trapped for days in a closed pharmacy. do no harm? what a joke..... these people should be ashamed !!!!!

You won't always be behind this 1996 Dodge Neon at the drive up pharmacy window but you'll feel like it.

Over a 30minute wait for a pre scheduled test appointment, during which time i observed numerous oddities.

If you like to wait 45 minutes in a drive thru for a prescription because they are understaffed, you should definitely come here.

Recently stopped in to buy some Salonpas Lidocaine patches because my shoulders and neck are in a lot of pain. Their price was better than other stores. Also picked up some Tylenol arthritis meds. Store was bright , clean and well organized Although I can't say they were well stocked. I picked up the last box of Salonpas; I would have bought another if they had it on the shelf. On my way out, picked up a few spontaneous purchases because I like the brand of popcorn they carry because it has clean ingredients, and some Unreal chocolate. Definitely should have stopped here prior to the gym rather than after when I was ravenous!

Main issue are the people on the counter? They are so many things other than a competent nice and knowledgeable about medical conditions, drugs, and patient rights specifically HIPAA second time I fill up a prescription here. The pharmacist makes me wait for five minutes with no one at the pharmacy but three people behind the counter, all looking at a computer screen. They need three people to look at that screen. She finally comes to me and says what can I do for you as I need to get a refill she said what is it? I said I would rather not broadcast my prescription and thus my medical condition to the people in the neighborhood, this was in front of everyone if you don't mind if I can just provide some identifying information (which is what she should have asked for in the first place) all a while thinking about the HIPPA laws that were just violated. Of course her body language and tone informed me that this was annoying to her. Incompetent, disrespectful, and not the most impressive work ethic.

The grocery section is in one end, home and drugstore items in the middle, and clothing, hardware and plants on the opposite end. If I am grocery shopping, I never have to walk beyond the midway point. Staff in the bakery, fish, meat and nursery areas have always been super helpful. I use the app to take advantage of the digital sales. Regular prices are typically reasonable compared with other grocery stores. No longer live in this part of town but since I workout at the gym nearby, this is where I do the bulk of my grocery shopping other than specialty items.

We had a good experience at this Fred Meyer, which the company refers to as the "Hollywood West"…read morelocation, in the Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood of Northeast Portland. Our group of eight was able to find just about everything we wanted for our nearby Airbnb house for a long weekend in PDX. Where I'm from, Georgia and North Carolina, we have Kroger and Harris Teeter, respectively, instead of Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer and Harris Teeter belong to Kroger. All three banners are different. Fred Meyer differentiates itself by having the biggest stores. It's a hypermarket - supermarket and department store in one - instead of just a grocery store like Kroger and Harris Teeter. In this sense, it's more like Walmart. For example, during our visit to this Fred Meyer store, I saw an entire department dedicated to "Northwest Style" men's clothing, featuring brands from Carhartt to Levi's. Walking around that section, I felt like I was in Belk or Dillard's. You don't see that at Kroger or Harris Teeter. Also, this Fred Meyer has a garden center and jewelry store. We bought groceries -- wine, milk, beer, Gatorade, Oreo and Keebler cookies, Simply Orange orange juice, Tostitos and Calidad corn tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, bananas, oranges, Doritos, Poppi (soft drinks), Starbucks coffee, Silk Almond Creamer, bacon, bread, syrup, frozen pizzas, eggs, avocado, potatoes, and more; you know, the provisions middle-aged men need for breakfast and snacking in a short-term homestay from an online marketplace. The shopping center has plenty of parking. There were a few homeless people outside of the attached Starbucks. Security was stationed inside the entrance/exit we used, near Starbucks. To use the restroom here, you need to punch in a door code. Ask an employee for the code. If you're visiting from out of town like we were and are a Kroger Plus or Harris Teeter VIC member, you can use your Kroger or Harris Teeter membership here for deals and discounts. Vice versa, Fred Meyer Rewards members can use their Fred Meyer memberships at any Kroger or Harris Teeter store.
