This is the brand new Princeton location that replaced the brand old, long in the tooth location last year. No one in the store just before noon yet it took an eternity to walk out with a shampoo bottle paying cash. There's obviously beaucoup bucks in filling prescriptions and a time penalty for actually paying for what you take from the shelves -- since the retail part of the Walgreens enterprise is nothing but a long day's journey... read more

When it's a Sunday before a holiday and you get to the pharmacy 1 minute before they close and one person stares at you until closing then the pharmacist says we're closed and walks away then a 1 is generous read more

I must say that this is one of the worst pharmacies that I have ever been in. Most of the staff appears stressed, lots of unnecessary talking, and most notably they are always out of stock. It is a shame because where they are is very convenient to the area. But do yourself a favor and go someplace else. read more

Omg the pharmacist in charge at the Walgreen's pharmacy is the worse! Walgreen's faxed my Rx it to my doctor, but wasn't getting a response. I called my doctor's office as someone in the pharmacy requested and gave Walgreen's my doctor's new fax #. Walgreen's continued to have problems. Minesh got on the phone and insisted I have my doctor call him directly. I told him that my doctor was too busy to personally call him. Minesh told me he was too busy also. Minesh was argumentative and made no sense. I told him that this was the worst customer service ever. Minesh said, "You're the worst; your doctor's the worst!" What!??? Omg, what a crazy experience! My Rx was eventually filled. Minesh's argumentative and toxic behavior trickled down through his staff... every visit was unpleasant. The only reason I continue to go to this Walgreen's is because it's conveniently located, plenty of parking and I get the best price because of their relationship with AARP. The experience I just described happened about a year ago. I didn't leave a bad review then. I thought possibly Minesh was going thru something difficult in his personal life. Then I didn't see him for more than a year. I figured he was fired. I saw Minesh yesterday. I went to pick up my Rx from the drive thru. The pharmacy doesn't like servicing the drive thru. Minesh was talking with me from across the room. I told him a couldn't hear him, could he come closer. "No! You come inside!" No, I'm not coming inside, there's a drive thru for my convenience." He said, "I remember you... then started verbally abusing me. I've had enough. I asked if I could speak with the manager. Minesh proudly told me that he is the manager... Omg you've got to be kidding me! He delivered my Rx to the window. I asked him his name. He refused to tell me. "Don't come back to my pharmacy!" he said. I pulled out my camera to videotape what he was saying and asked him to repeat himself. He refused to repeat what he had said and pulled down the shade so I couldn't see him while recording. I went inside to find out his name so that I can report him. Minesh should not be a manager anywhere, let alone head pharmacist at a major pharmacy. Minesh is incapable of providing customer services on any level. Wish I could leave the pharmacy zero stars. This review is for the Walgreen's pharmacy; not the store. I've always found the staff at the store to be kind and helpful. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Rudest pharmacy staff, they never have a particular prescription I require which renews monthly. I have to physically go in (don't bother trying to navigate the phone system), to remind them. It then takes a week to bring it in. I need continuity of my Rx. Their excuse is it costs a lot of money to keep in stock and I might not pick it up the following month... I am now in the process of moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Always a lack of stock in the store as well. Don't understand the concept of the nicer store with no stock or service. read more

Pharmacy is understaffed and disorganized. I transferred my prescriptions here from the smaller pharmacy down the road (Sante Integrative Health) because I thought it would be more convenient, but their hours aren't any better and prescriptions are never ready on time. The wait times to speak to a person on the phone are terrible and there's a long wait for pick up every single time. i'll be transferring my prescriptions back to the smaller pharmacy. Pharmacy doesn't open until 9am (store open at 8am) so you can't pickup before work. read more

Absolutely horrible Pharmacy operation. The new location is nicer than the old one, but it seems like the level of service in the pharmacy has deteriorated. My kids go to the pediatrician nearby. I always have to go in when they get scripts called in just to make sure they are working on it, which then takes 20-30 mins to fill every time. Today, they actually picked up the phone and I was told an hour. Two hours later, it's not ready and I am sitting here waiting. Doesn't seem difficult to mix amoxicillin. read more

I made an appointment on Walgreen's web site after seeing that another Covid booster is recommended. Walgreens said I was wrong, and, if I made an appointment on their website, I didn't tell them about my last booster, which I did - and it was at Walgreen's as well. They were rude about it. read more

I've always had pleasant service from this pharmacy, find it far better than when it was rite aid. We switched to it from wegmans first due to the Alexander bridge closing, then coronavirus. It saddened me to hear from a friend that there's a racist pharmacist. She went to pick up medication for her husband, who is a cancer survivor. After waiting patiently, the pharmacist took a look at my friend, shouted loudly, I'm closed. Seriously? That's 60s Pre-civil rights era bs. People in Princeton come from all over the country and world to raise our kids here and don't need this racist POS in our town. read more

I came to receive money in Walgreens, an affiliate of Western Union . I used this service about 30 years ago. I asked the employee to help me, as the system wasn't finding my profile. She, turning her back to me, and bending over, folding boxes, answered irritably that my questions had to be addressed to WU and then began to kick me out of the store. I objected that this was a public place. A man stood nearby, said that he was the owner and demanded that I leave the premises. I have lived in NJ for more than 30 years, 21 years in Princeton, my children went to schools, Universities, Law School in this State .I am President of HOA in my Community. Many teachers, doctors, policemen ,lawyers know me as warm and fair person. I never saw all in one such things: negative attitude towards the client, neglect, lack of professionalism, inability to listen, raised the level of tension, rudeness ,lack of customer care skills, ignorance . read more

Wow - these guys don't get it. I believe they recruit from the DMV and USPS alone - and put them through a post-graduate course in apathy, passive aggression and glacially slow "service" for good measure. Don't bother phoning them - once you run the gauntlet of their horrific phone system the pharmacy never picks up. And I mean never. Whether this is a cultural issue with Walgreens as a whole or merely this location alone I cannot say. Here's another reason why brick and mortar isn't working anymore. I agree with Paul E. from last year entirely! Bad, unresponsive message receiver. Misinformation and contradictions from pharmacists about filling of my prescription. Extremely slow service. Dealing with this Walgreens branch is a depressing experience. I've waited for months since they took over from Rite Aid to improve, cutting them slack during the period of their transition, which included training new personnel.
