I like this pharmacy. The staff is as nice as can be. I had an insurance problem. My new insurance wouldn't take effect til 2/1/2026. 17 days away. They were kind enough to help with enough of a medication to get me to that date. Iwas only expecting 5 at the most like the chain ones do. It PAYS to do business with local stores. LOVE this Pharmacy! Not only is the Pharmacy AWESOME in filling and explaining prescriptions, they also go over what might work better/or interact with current medicines and suggest speaking to your doctor about (or researching further on your own) to take care of your own health. They truly care without being rude or condescending. The store staff helpful in assisting as soon as you walk in the door. They point out new arrivals (in the gift items) as well as what is on sale. Owner very mean and unprofessional, yells at staff for no reason/very small reason. When owner Asghar is not there, on those days the whole staff is happy. Rose is amazing. Sonu is amazing. There is no reason to yell at the staff like that. They are working hard just like you. I know someone that worked there and tells me this. Pharmacy seems good on the outside but there is a different scene behind the counter. The person I knew that worked there was new and the owner still yells and is unpatient. Just asking Asghar to take care of the staff and to treat them with respect, especially the high schoolers who can be doing anything else like sports instead of working at your pharmacy. I am very disappointed by how I was treated by them. There is a medication my son needs that is on back order. After speaking with our doctor, she suggested an alternative because this medicine is on back order everywhere. The pharmacist has argued with me talking down to me about how I should go search it elsewhere and how the doctor should know better. I had been happy with this pharmacy but this rudeness was unexpected and uncalled for, especially at a time when I am struggling to get what I need for my son. Very unprofessional pharmacist. I wanted to support this small business, but a customer doesn't deserve to be talked down to in this manner. Take your business elsewhere, where pharmacists are professional and don't rudely question the MD and the parent. read more

This is the best pharmacy I've had the pleasure of doing business with. Oscar, the owner, is such a wonderful guy. He's always been patient and understanding with all of my medical needs. If there is something they dont have, he orders it right away and ill get it that afternoon or the next day. Don't listen to any negative reviews, this man is genuine and sweet. Rose, the other pharmacist is incredibly kind too. The entire staff is wonderful. Very old school feeling. A rare gem. You won't get this kind of service elsewhere. His pharmacists and staff are very good but he often degrades them and YELLS at them in front of other customers. Dayton Pharmacy is the best. I've been going there for many many years now and I'm always treated with respect and like I'm a member of the family. In the past other chain pharmacies always treated me like I had a blank face and was only a insurance card number to them. At Dayton, I'm always greeted with a smile. They often call me to remind me I have scripts to pick up and have gone way out of their way to obtain a few odd prescriptions that had to be compounded by a third party pharmacy. And the best thing is, they always seem to be able to find a discount coupon for my scripts. More often than not I pay little to nothing due to their diligent efforts to get me the lowest out of pocket expense that is possible. Hats off to Asghar, Walter, Rose and the rest of the staff at Dayton Pharm. I highly recommend their services and can assure you that you will not be disappointed with their friendly professional service. read more

I've never use this pharmacy before so I decided to give it a try. while I was waiting for my prescription to be filled I was walking around the store and the lady at the front desk kept following me like I was about to steal something. Meanwhile I could hear the owner yelling unnecessarily at one of his employees. when I asked to speak to the owner he sent a bunch of other employees instead of him to talk to me. All I was trying to do what to let him know that the way he was running his business would not help him in anyway but he refused to come out of the back room to speak to me very unprofessional I will never go there ever again read more

Its a garbage pharmacy. They neither have any courtesy nor they are consistent with co-pays. They will promise you $20 gift card, matching prices on drugs, co-pay discount and but none will materialize the 2nd time you visit them ( they will be super nice when the 1st time you are switching to them) including auto reminder. You can't even argue with the moron at the pharmacy desk as the pharmacist is never available and the front desk guy will try to give you some BS. A piece of advice - Avoid this pharmacy, I am going back to Stop n Shop, I was a fool thinking this mom n pop shop will be better, I couldn't have been more wrong than this. read more

Never get get prescription right. Instead of asking for RX number & verifying info before calling doctor for prescription they give you wrong medication. Plus Pharmacist wants blame doctor and doesn't want take suggestions. Worst customer service transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I have never been to a business where the owner treats his staff and his customers with such disrespect. I had walked into the store to pick up a few things, right off the bat i could hear the guy yelling at his staff. i then continued to walk through the store trying to ignore him but i simply could not. he then got on the phone and yelled some more. After a while i went to the front of the store to ask the cashier for her, she had stepped away from barely a min. when he started barking at her to get back . He then asked one of his workers to follow me around the store and make sure i was "helped" but i just felt as though he was being very very rude to me. I will never go here again.
