Oh this place. Barely competent employees. Neither the pharmacist or the other two ladies impressed me here this pm. Spoke to pharmacist over phone. He was a little helpful but not that much. The young Asian woman was sort of helpful but seemed pretty unsure of herself. Lastly asked the other lady who works here a question. She said "can you ask the pharmacist?" What, really? You work here and are perfectly capable of asking the pharmacist on my behalf but you dont bother helping me? Why the heck am I still coming here? Tbeir obviously not that qualified. If you never have a question about your meds or want to answer questions they might ask you about your medication than this is the place for you! read more

Nice service here. The people are really nice and always wanting to help, especially the lady at the cash register. I told her I couldn't find the gaiter type of masks. "Can I get someone to help you?" she asked. They have masks, just not the gaiter type (at least not that day). I like the gaiters because regular mask strings hurt my ears after an hour or so. Your store closes at 10pm. It's 9:50pm, so why are your doors closed and locked and your employees purposefully ignoring my knocks?

Shout out to the pharmacy department because I've been getting my prescriptions here for years and they've always been on top of it for me. Whether it's calling my primary care, calling my insurance or finding me discounts when I didn't have insurance and was tight on money. This Walgreens does not deliver prescriptions despite what they put in the description. We've asked and been told that while some do, this one doesn't have the capability. Also the pharmacy is always understaffed and the open/close hours for Sunday on the answering service are wrong. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I got from this Walgreens for the past few weeks. I often come to this location because its short distance from my work but no longer after what I had experienced here a few weeks ago. I recently went on my honeymoon with my husband, Ron, and we took the most beautiful photos using a disposable camera (so we could put it in our wedding book), and this Walgreens store lost all of our photos. I've tried contacting countless times to check to see if they got them in but the response was always negative. These photos are photos I can never get back and at times I actually think about it and cry because, how can they be so inconsiderate to lose something so valuable. I really wanted to share my story so you guys do NOT come to this location to print out your photos, or maybe stop supporting them all together. The employees here always sounded like they had zero clue how to do even do their jobs, the training process needs to be updated IMMEDIATELY and people need to start getting fired! read more

They should have their hours say closing at 9:50. I showed up at 9:50 needing to urgently grab one thing and the doors were locked and they wouldn't let me in. I understand it's annoying for a customer to come in late but if you say you're open until 10, you should be open until 10. read more

like everyone's review I have to agree, the store is nice and clean, the staffs is very friendly but the farmacy is so bad always has a very long line. I have been to Walgreens several time since it opened a few months ago. It is very clean and organized and the merchandise is organized in a way that is very user-fruiendly. I go there to take advantage of the deals they offer on beuty products as well as general merchandise. Each time I have bean in, the employees are friendly and helpful. The overall layout of the store is quite good, given that it is a bit smaller than other Walgreens I have been in. It is right off of the Red Line North Quincy T stop. This store a small and cheaply put together. The floors are squeaky. The store is dark and depressing. And their inventory is terrible. Twice I have come here just to find out they were out if what I was looking for (CASCADE) or didn't carry what I wanted. TERRIBLE read more

Not quite as big as the CVS in Wolly; but it serves its purpose as a neighborhood drugstore. It's always good to stir up some competition! when it first opened, they had a coupon which was why I shopped there. I can tell you tho, it's not easy getting out the parking lot on the Hancock St end since this is a pretty busy intersection. read more

I have to agree with Davin's review about this store feeling so dark and small. But, there's something so depressing when I enter any Walgreens. Maybe it's the fact that they really haven't updated their stores, even for a brand new location. They all look the same. That doesn't really stop me from coming here. I sometimes find some great deals on my everyday hair and beauty products. If it wasn't for Walgreens not taking Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance anymore.. Stores wicked clean, with.a nice layout. Staff is very friendly. You almost feel like you're walking into a Walgreens commercial "Thank you. Be well!" My only hang-up is the understaffed pharmacy. It's pretty common place to have to wait in line for several minutes, especially when someone starts to argue about their coverage/insurance charge. They serve a pretty high risk population, with many looking for early refills or frequently losing their scripts. Instead of letting the person argue with them for 10 minutes I wish they would just ask the person to step aside to take care of the other customers instead of letting the line get ridiculously long. read more

If I had any other choices I would go to a different photo lab, the tech has a high and mighty attitude about what can and can't be done in "his" lab while I was doing pictures for almost a decade. I had my prescriptions sent here instead of CVS in wollaston because they would take forever. This Walgreens has the WORST pharmacy I've been too. They screwed up the number of refills I had left and when I tried to refill it (over the phone) they never called me to tell me they couldn't refill it. When I went to pick it up they claim they called my doctor and my doctor refused my refill but my doctors office had no documentation that they called and they also said they wouldn't have denied my new refills for birth control pills. Needless to say they r too lazy to pick up the phone and tell me to call my doctor or for them to call the doctor. Something that CVS always does. The only reason why I still go there is because I can take my daughter for a walk to pick up my prescription but now that winter is coming maybe CVS will get my buisness again. read more

Not sure what to make of this Walgreens. It's decent sized, clean, and pretty well stocked. That would make it a great store, right? It should but...it doesn't seem to draw any customers. Could it be that the ceiling and lighting are high causing the store to look dark? I shudder every time I have a prescription pick up at this location. The pharmacy manager and staff seem to make their own rules, a fact that corporate has confirmed. I have gone over four days without necessary medications due to their cryptic record keeping. I receive text messages when time to refill and each time the dates in the computer system do not match the dates in the database. I am basically able to receive my meds not at my doctors discretion or as intended, rather the time deemed appropriate by the unsympathetic and omnipotent staff. I have initiated several script transfers to avoid this pariah in my ongoing medical care but every one initiated goes unheeded and dismissed by the inconsiderate staff. A trip to this pharmacy involves being questioned and spoken down to by the staff in front of a line of people facing the same fate, with every patron leaving with knowledge of the maladies the customer before them is facing because HIPPA laws are abandoned once entering the store. read more
