It made the whole experience easy and pleasant. The second visit was a bit different. The prints were still done perfectly, but the interaction felt more guarded at first. Once the payment was completed, her demeanor noticeably lightened and felt much warmer. That said, the quality and accuracy of both large orders were excellent. If you're looking for reliable photo printing -- especially in higher quantities -- this location definitely delivers.

Normally you might stop in to pick up your prescriptions and decide to also purchase a few common grocery items and save myself some time and an additional stop. Obviously you are unlikely to find all of your grocery needs here; there's no produce department. But the convenience store aspect allows you to stretch the time before you need that grocery (or wine, or snacks, or ??) run. Because my prescription drug insurance has another pharmacy chain as their preferred provider, I only stop here when there is an advertised sale price on something I am looking for. When I do stop in I've had good service and help finding what I came in for. And they have given me rain checks when items are out of stock.

It's located right on the corner of Main and Fourth, so it's truly in such prime location and essentially is the heart of downtown Rochester! Today upon picking up a routine medication, I was told by a female pharmacist "I could check in there," without a smile but rather a nod to a screen. There was another female pharmacy tech standing right by the screen who did not greet me. She then stood infront of me without a word and waited for me to answer a list of prompts to "check-in" I would have once considered her job- full name, date of birth, phone number, questions on whether I'd like to be vaccinated. I told her the screen was impersonal, and she quipped back with, "Well, I like it!" Then continued to tell me about how she oftentimes gets screamed at without even being greeted by the customer, which is her job, mind you. It felt highly unprofessional and a role reversal of sorts. She is getting paid to serve me as a customer who is about to pay her hundreds of dollars for a medication, not the other way around. Feedback for the pharmacy- I'm not exactly certain why I'm imputing all of the information into a system on my end now and what the tech's role is other than to hand me my prescription. There was no line, no high guest traffic, etc. For a high paying career, where is the decency of human interaction? I felt so slighted I didn't even make eye contact before grabbing my prescription from what I believe to be an overpaid hand and walking away. I would rather go to a pharmacy where someone was kind and personable to me even if it was an inconvenience in location.

The Pharmacist and assistants have always been friendly and very helpful when I am looking for something in the store or comparing several choices. The drive up window is very convenient to drop off a prescription and get an estimate for how long it may take for them to fill the order. You can then drive off and take care of other errands and they will call you when it is ready. If you have the prescription called in by your doctor, it will likely be complete and ready for pick up by the time you arrive. The hours are fairly convenient to accommodate your busy schedule. And, of course, you can also take care of your other shopping at Meijer while you wait!
